Description of Work: Asked for a professional installation of porcelain tiles. Left us with uneven grout joints, highly un-level tiles, where many tiles have a "lip" sticking up relative to the neighboring tile(s). And for an installation cost exceeding $11.00 per square foot, this was just awful.

Description of Work: Installation of hardwood floor in a room. Pretty satisfied for the moment. The only thing I did not like is that the workers let some dirty traces on the freshly painted walls (I finished to paint the day before). I understand this kind of things can happen when working on the floor, I bought extra paint to cover this kind of things, but the workers left without saying anything about this and without apologizing.

Description of Work: Had two bedrooms that needed the floors refinished - scratches and worn off finish on both floors. Decided to go with a stain and two coats of polyurethane in satin finish. I can't begin to tell you how beautiful these floors look - amazing. These floors truly NEEDED finishing - now that I've seen these, I WANT all my wood floors refinished by Functional Floors!

Description of Work: $399 Angie's price was for 2 coats but we went with 3. Showed us typical colors but then brought one in he said a lot of people chose. And we went with that one. We were responsible for removing refrigerator out of kitchen with the issue being it was too big to fit thru door. When they arrive that morning the refrigerator was still there. It was important we startEd that day since we were going on vacation later that day and perfect timing to let it dry when we were out of town. He said he would go to another job first and then check back with us. We then had an appliance store come in and move the refrigerator into the dining room. Perfect timing as they called back an we were now ready for the multi-day prices of staining our wood kitchen floor which included new floor moldings to match. I highly recommend the people there and the quality work they do.

Description of Work: I am rehabbing a house that stood vacant for at least 5 years. Some of the floors in the bedrooms had stains, which Functional Floors said they probably couldn't get out. They tried, but failed to get them out completely. However, overall they did a nice job, kept everything clean, didn't break anything, were right on time and very polite. I will definately hire them for my next rehab.

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate for the floors in my entire home. They refinished all my floors except for 1 room. I originally only planned for them to do 1 room, btut decided to have them do more after the estimate and they were able to accommodate me and come back the next morning to finish up. After the job was finished, they came back out and re-did the entire floor because I noticed a small spot. They were very professional and I would definitely use them again.
