Description of Work: Randy the sales guy came out and walked through the house asking smart questions and answering mine. He also walked me through their product and how it would fix the water in my basement problem I was getting with storms. He reviewed how the day would go with me as well. There were a couple calls to make sure we were still one and that I had no questions and then the big day... everyone was polite and worked hard. They arrived promptly and got right to work. The whole install took longer than I expected but the job was done all in 1 day as promised. My basement looks great now and even the musty smell is gone! Now we're just waiting for a good 3 days of rain again to test the set up. So far we've only gotten 1 days worth. The workmen also did GREAT with clean up. I would use them again.

Description of Work: They had to fix an going water problem in a basement, that another contractor 'fixed' for life, then went out of business. The professionalism that was displayed and the crew along with cleanup was magnificent for my mother law.

Description of Work: I have used FSM now three times. Everyone has been very courteous and professional. The most recent project involved having my concrete raised on my back patio. The work was done and the person was fantastic. However, I soon realized that an accident had occurred. The foam injected into the concrete went into my drain pipe for my sump pump and one of my gutters. This became very worrisome to me. After a few phone calls and discussions, they sent someone out to my house to solve the imidiate problem of my sump pump not being able to drain. The person was out to the house in an hour and fixed the problem. However, there was still the issue of the foam being in my pipe. Again, it was an accident. After several phone calls and discussions, they came out and fixed the problem and made it just like it was before the accident. It was stressful for me. But, there staff was professional and so very helpful. They will always be my first phone call.

Description of Work: I have a large crack in the basement wall that I wanted repaired. Apparently fixing cracks is not part of what FSM do. I was left with the impression all they do run sheeting along the wall and divert any water thru the floor into the space under the basement slab. I called the wrong company. If I had a leaky basement, I would not want the leak repaired the way FSM offered to do it.

Description of Work: I sent a question to foundation systems and they responded instantly! Though they were not able to respond to my request I would utilize their services in the future. Very professional!!!!

Description of Work: encapsulated apprx l500 sq ft crawl space, put in fan and smart drain but found out later I needed a sump pump, which was advised but the crawl space had been dry and I didn't think I needed it till the alarm went off at 12:00 and I had to crawl down there and dismantle the alarm till they could come out the next week and put in a sump pump. Communication throughout the procedure was a little bit less than desired, but we worked it out. The crews that were sent in the 4 times were great Jeff, Joel,Blake and Jason were very professional and they did a great job.I am looking forward to a warmer home this winter and lower heating costs.

Description of Work: They did an excellent job, I had waterproofing and beam work done in my basement. Since then, my basement has been totally dry and the beam work looks great! I had a complaint about one small part of the beam work and they will be coming back to fix it in a couple of weeks. Everyone that I dealt with at Foundation Systems was very professional and great to work with.

Description of Work: My lakeside home was experiencing standing water in the crawlspace due to high lake levels. We had to do something about it as we were investing in an expensive remodeling job at this home. I would ask them to install a sump pump as the one they installed is discharging water very frequently. FSA actually came in with the best price as I contacted 2 other firms for an estimate before using FSA.

Description of Work: They totally enclosed/sealed and did some insulation in our crawl space, also installing a sump pump. I would recommend them no doubt, the men who came were very polite and worked long, hard hours to get the job done and totally cleaned up the area afterwards. The one thing we were quite puzzled, and not pleased about, was the fact that the company didn't call after all was done to see how pleased we were with the finished project or if we had any questions. Just a phone call, not alot to ask, especially after spending that amount of money.

Description of Work: After considering several methods to shore up a wall that shifted mid way we chose to use the anchor system. It has been one year and half of the wall has aligned and so far one half has a small opening. We were told that the anchors would need tightening once a year. We could do the work or we could use their service (cost $100). We had Foundation Systems do the work for the first time. We were then told that it needed to be done twice a year. This second adjustment is a cost for which we had not planned. We hope that other customers are told in advance that this needs to be done twice a year so future costs could be budgeted. Compared to another company we used for another basement issue the staff and service from Foundation was far superior in all aspects.

Description of Work: Used FSM for crawl space encapsulation, basement vapor barrier and insulation, and adding anchors to a basement wall. I've had many companies and contractors to various houses over the years and they were absolutely the best. Clean, professional, understanding. I could go on and on, but it's obvious that they've created a company that cares about their customers and the service they receive - from the top all the way down to the people who show up to work at your house. They were a little pricey, compared to other quotes, but if this is the type of job and service I receive, I'm happy to pay a little extra. Highly recommended!! |
