The work they did has taken care of our water issues which has made those spaces usable and is helping to protect the integrity of the foundation of our home. They have their headquarters in Livonia and an office and operation in Traverse City as well. Our service was done out of the Traverse City office which services the Northern Lower and Eastern Upper Peninsulas. We were provided with a team that included an initial Inspector who supplied us with a free estimate, engineering and project specifications and a contract, an Installation Crew who performed the work specified in the contract, and a Customer Experience Advocate (CEA) who helped coordinate the effort and follow-up. I did not have to contact them after we contracted for the work as they reached out to us for verification of every component of the job. I was contacted by the CEA the week before the job was scheduled for verification and confirmation, phoned during the days work was being performed to check on our satisfaction and have been contacted since the work was done to be certain that everything was functioning as designed. The entire team including the initial inspector (Jim), the installation crew (foreman Mike), and CEA (Shonda) were professional, well trained and personable. If I should need any work performed that is within their realm of expertise they will get my business.

Finished in 1 day. Workers explained everything and cleaned area up when done. Repoured cement that was broken to dig holes around porch and in garage. Looks good.

Our previous weep tile was failing and, in May 2017, FSM came to put in a gutter and tile system inside our basement on the floor. A messy job but they kept the dust down better than I would've imagined and were done in less than half a day. Very professional In December 2017 they came back to put 3 anchors on one wall that had cracked due to the City of Midland's storm sewer backing up in our basements. This time it was a different team but they were just as efficient and professional as the first team. A great bunch of employees. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. But sure hope we don't have to!!!

I go the Triple Safe sump pump systems. They were on time, professional, and clean. The workmanship and the product was excellent. They use Zoeller sump pumps, they are the best.

When the appraiser arrived, he was more interested in looking at my travel trailer parked in my driveway and looking around my backyard at my landscaping than he seemed in assessing my concrete. He then asked me my opinion on what I thought needed to be lifted. The 'customer service' team continued to hound me for feedback (three calls in one afternoon) and when I called back and explained what happened, the customer service rep asked, "So are you going to have the repairs made with us?" When I said no and explained what happened, he said, "ok" and ended the call and I've never heard back from anyone.

They were very good and came as soon as they could. He was very efficient and professional giving me information I didn't know. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

Not good. I still have musty smells emanating into my living area and am heartsick. I have had FSM out several times and they tell me that I need a fan, or needed to paint my beams with KILZ - conveniently his father did that work on the side. However, there is no mold on the beams, so what would painting accomplish? FSM has not done anything to mitigate the problem. What? If I needed a fan then they SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME at the time of installation, and included it. I never had a problem with puddles of water, did not need a drain or pump in the crawl, only a musty smell. I wasted $8,000. I am now taking steps to take action against them as this is just not right. Others: don't waste your money. I am still not at all sure that encapsulation is worth the very high cost. Also, a friend informed me that FSM had many legal problems with customers in past years and had to change their name. Have not researched that but I do know that they either need to give me at least 50% of my payment back, or they need to rectify the problem and get rid of the musty smell AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO ME.

Began as scheduled, work done in a very professional manner, set up a barrier to contain dust and dirt from the non affected areas and work was completed on schedule..

Area was cleaned, graded, sides were insulated & floor was covered. New sump was installe3d with alarm.. Very neat job. Workmen appeared to be detailed oriented.

The encapsulation went very well. The workers removed existing insulation and did a nice job putting up new insulation. They also sprayed the mold on the floor joists above, although that cost extra. The problem arose when the foreman came to rear of the house to see the patio to be removed. He seemed completely surprised at its size and told me quite frankly that they were not given its dimensions, and so had no way to haul that much concrete away that day. The fact that they didn't have the size of the patio is bizarre, since an inspector came to our house twice (once to quote, the other to sign documents) and had measured the patio both times. The workers broke up the concrete and said they would arrange for someone to come out and remove the concrete-- also frustrating as I'm a teacher, and this work was being done the very last weekday of summer break. Now I can see how miscommunications can happen, and I understand that the workers couldn't haul away the material that day. That's not my issue. My issue is that here we are Wednesday of next week, and not only does my back yard still look like the apocalypse has hit, but they didn't even call to schedule anything! I've heard nothing! When I called them myself at 4PM I was sent to the scheduling people only to get a recording and a voice mail! When you mess up, it's only a problem if you don't make it right, and these people seem wholly unconcerned that they messed up and left a huge mess in my back yard. I understand that the removal of concrete isn't their forte, but this is just silly. Update: After calling, they scheduled an appointment to haul away the concrete the next week, and while they did it, the representative was really pushy trying to upsell me on tons of extras. If I ever need work done on my foundation again, I will definitely find someone else. I suggest you consider doing the same.

I've used this company in the past for a different repair, and although there was a quality issue, it was repaired quickly and professionally. For this repair, it was significant enough to where I did not want to make cost a higher priority than quality, or use a fly-by-night company. Their crew was very professional, and the construction and inspection work was coordinated very well. The only gripe I had was with communication. First, it wasn't clear exactly how long the crew would be onsite or how long they'd work for the day. Second, there was miscommunication regarding the inspection fee coverage, and when the crew showed up, I had to pay that $500 fee; we disagreed slightly on whether I was informed (I may have been, but it had been 2-3 months since the initial talks), but the managers were very professional and listened to my concerns, and wound up crediting me for the fee. Finally, unexpected costs arose a couple of times that added over $1k, and I thought there should have been some way to better estimate costs. The total price did seem high, but I'm comfortable with the work that was done and the impression that the company will stand behind it. I recommend them, and I'd use them again.

I can't say enough about the service and care I received from everyone I worked with at FSM. From the initial contact with company to the end of the job everything went better than I expected. My sales representative, Jeff Weaver, went the extra length to explain everything in detail, promptly returned my multiple phone calls. One question I had regarded my sprinkler system, and he drove out to the house to take a second look at how it might be impacted by the repair, and he then called my Sprinkler company to discuss! FSM did all of the required leg work before the job began including contacting utilities and obtaining required city permits. Alex and his crew who installed the piers were professional, knowledgeable, careful around my property, and Alex explained each step of the process along the way. The end result was that this huge job I was fearing was not so bad after all! The wide stair step crack on the exterior of my house was almost totally closed up after the work. When the job was done, they power washed all impacted areas and left my property in great condition. I highly recommend FSM. All of my work came with a lifetime, transferable warranty.

From the sales process through installation, the team was professional, thorough, good communicators / educators. They were able to work with our tight schedule and were very easy to work with. I was nervous about working with such a large company but they were terrific. Might not have been the cheapest, but they noticed some things that other companies didn't and gave us a lot of good recs along the way for how to prevent further problems which we appreciated.

It went well from beginning with Inspector, Chris H. at DryMich coming out, June 15, 2017. He walked around and confirmed that I didn't have a foundation problem. I had no signs of cracks in bricks, no problem closing doors or windows and because the water was entering basement at floor level in corners it was due too existing drainage in ground being clogged with silt. My home was built in 1952 or 56. So when it rained extremely hard or back to back rain the water would enter the basement because it was trapped in the cinderblocks and no where to go, therefore, it was a waterproofing problem. Then he checked my crawlspace, which I had forgotten I even had a crawlspace. Chris took pictures and showed me. There was lots of fallen insulation and some mold. I was shocked! He suggested doing encapsulation, which the crew would remove all debris and mold and insulate the crawlspace and install a Smart Drain. In case there are any water leaks from plumbing, pipes, etc. the Smart Drain will catch any water and sound an alarm giving you time to fix the problem. Prior to DryMich coming out, I called three other companies. HomeSpec was the first and because I really didn't know what the problem was I told them I wasn't sure if the water was entering underneath the slabs of the walkway. The girl cut me off and said I needed a structural engineer. The next company was EverDry Waterproofing and they wanted to dig up the whole perimeter of my house and install interior drainage system along with Sump Pump and repair any cracks in foundation, which I saw no evidence of. All for $22,345. They came out a total of three times and I felt pressured. The third company wasBWM Basement Waterproofing they quoted $10,000 to do the drainage system along the two walls that had the water coming in and install two Sump Pumps. He said I could do the other two walls later. That didn't make since to me. Finally I contacted DryMich, and here we are. By the way none of the other companies ever mentioned my crawlspace. DryMich installed the Water Guard drainage system around perimeter of basement walls underneath floor, Triple Safe Sump Pump w/battery backup installed and ran a drain from Sump Pump outside 68 ft. from house underground (I could've had either or, but I preferred both), they removed all preexisting insulation and mold from crawlspace and installed their Vapor Loc Elite system, which insulate walls and uses polygon along with insulation and Vapor barrier, installed a Smart Drain to catch any water that may enter. Two months later August 15 - 16, 2017 the crew, led by Foreman, Bruce G. arrived. I was already told by Chris, Inspector too move everything in basement to center of floor leaving at least 5ft from walls. He said the crew would cover the items/furniture, which they did. However, there's only so much you can do to prevent cement dust from getting everywhere due to cement floors being jackhammered. I should have covered the items myself with a tarp of some sort prior to the crew taping up their plastic. The whole crew worked so hard. I don't think they even took a lunch break. They started promptly at 8:15 am and worked until about 4:30 pm the first day. Just watching them carry buckets of broken cement from the basement to their truck outside was amazing and no one complained. The second day there were four guys instead of three. Now they carried buckets of cement down to the basement to cement the floor and cover up the drainage system. They also did the crawlspace and removed all debris. They all did a fantastic job. From the Inspector, to the young ladies keeping me informed on the status of permits, to the crew that did the work. If I could give them ten Stars, I would. If I know of anyone needing this kind of work done, I would definitely recommend DryMich.

Very professional, I love my nice dry basement! No more "basementy " smell, clean and awesome.

Exceptional service. Workers were on-time, communicated at every step, cleaned up as much as possible, were organized, thorough, and efficient. It has rained (hard) several times since the drainage system was put in and there hasn't been one leak. FSM also worked with the permits, city inspectors, and subcontractors to insure everything was taken care of.

Inspector showed up on time. Explained what needs to done. Performed the job neatly.

After the floor tile is replaced you will never know that there was ever a problem. I can't say enough good things about FSM. From the sales staff to the actual repair crew they were very professional and courteous.....They took the utmost care in making sure that everything was as clean when they left as it was when they arrived.....They placed plastic on the floor and appliances including wrapping the furnace so that no dust would get into the cold air return...They tented off the area they were working in so that no dust or debris would get out into the main basement area which by the was is completely finished. I was truly amazed...
