Description of Work: Service person did not come within the time set for the first appointment and then charged us $500 to take care of a small clog in the system which in the end did not fix the problem. I would not recommend them and now we need to look into our septic tank to fix the problem.

We believe strongly in 100% customer satisfaction. I do not see any notes of you contacting us to make us aware that you were having an issues. The order details state that you had all sinks backing up and concerns with multiple toilets, not just a small clog. We will certainly send our technician back to address any concerns that need to be addressed until you are satisfied with the work completed! Please contact our office at 517-322-2994 to schedule a time that will work for you. In regards to the scheduled time of your appointment. We do apologize that we were delayed getting to your scheduled appointment. I see that you were scheduled from 10-12 and our dispatch team contacted you at 11AM to make you aware that we were running late. It appears that we did reschedule your job for the following day and we did make it in that window. Again, I apologize for our tardiness. We strive to keep all of our appointment times however sometimes a job prior to yours can keep a technician tied up longer than anticipated. We do make all efforts to communicate this as soon as we are aware we may be late to an appointment. Finally on the price concern- I show that your invoiced amount was $395 not $500. Our policy is to offer a FREE Estimate. If you would like the work done, the technician then begins work after the Flat Rate price is approved by you. The price does not increase if the technician needs additional time. If our technician did not speak to you regarding the price and you do not feel that you authorized this work to be completed. Please contact either Rodney or Jacki at 517-322-2994 to resolve. As we would rather you contact us to resolve the issues via the phone... we are still appreciative that you did made us aware via your review so hopefully we can now address any and all issues you may have. Description of Work: The issue turned out to be because the city hadn't been maintaining the sewer area properly. The Michigan Plumbing person stayed on site for a while and helped figure out what was going on, but didn't charge me anything when it was clear that the city needed to address the problem.

Description of Work: MI Plumbing put in a 40 gallon gas hot water heater. I didn't have time to compare prices. I used the $40.00 coupon. MI Plumbing was very prompt and communicated great. I put a request in on email in the evening. They responded that evening. They had someone out to the house 2 days later to look at my dead hot water heater. My house is out in Vermontville. The next day I had a new hot water heater. Kevin 51 was very professional. I was impressed.

I do see that we made recommendations in an effort to prevent this from happening again. I do not see any notes of concerns of poor workmanship. They were persistent in making sure that the problem was solved before finishing up the job. They also came back to make sure everything was running smoothly and was connected properly.

I am very impressed. I had another company look at the shower and they told me the tile shower needed to be ripped out and replaced! They estimated the cost to be several thousand dollars. We decided to get a second opinion and I am so happy we did. I will only use Michigan Plumbing in the future and will recommend them to all my friends.
Description of Work: We called them to fix a leaky shower. I called Monday afternoon and they were able to come Tuesday morning. Kevin checked the shower, the walls, the floor, the shower doors and the room below the shower. He determined the problem was not a leaky shower but rather a problem of regrouting and resealing.

The job went great and I learned a lot about my permiter drainage and downspout drainage system. He was able to determine where the water was coming from and where it was going. It was just the confirmation I needed so I could determine if I had a leak or not before my concrete was replaced. He was knowledgeable and quite helpful.
Description of Work: Had my downspouts and drains televised to determing where water was flowing and to see if a tile was broken.

It went very well working with them. They were very courteous. They were prompt when coming out. The worker explained everything they were going to be doing. He also explained the prices well.
Description of Work: They had to run a snake out to the main drain. They straighten out some pipes under the kitchen because my husband put them in wrong. He had to go in the basement to clean out to clean out tree branches.

All though they are a little more expensive, they don't charge more for weekend visits as they have staff on call 24/7. It took them only a few hours to do the work. The worker was friendly and professional. I would use them again for future work.
Description of Work: I had a plugged up drain. This happened on a Sunday night when we were trying to dishes; our whole sink was plugged up! A man came out that evening and fixed it right then.
