I could have gotten the motor replaced however due to the fact that my washer was 10 years old it wasn't worth the cost due to age, parts and labor. Rob was timely, honest and friendly. Although he didn't fix my washer I would use him again for any appliance repair.

Was on time, figured out the problem quickly and had to order a part. Came back to install the part, and it has been working fine ever since.

This person new what he was doing right from the begining. Just what I was looking for, thorough, clean and professional For what it's worth, when I need this type work done again, there is no doubt, I am calling these people.

I have a 36-year-old Harvest Gold Maytag washer and the timer finally quit. Without the timer, the machine kept agitating and could not move through its cycles. The repair man came out promptly (I believe he is Dick's son) and was very positive about trying to fix my old washer. When he saw it he even told me I had a "beautiful machine". He consulted with Dick by phone and they launched an internet search for the part. With no luck at first, Dick thought of eBay. Amazingly enough, someone had the part for sale. I authorized purchase of this part, even though it was used, and the repair man was out the next week as promised. He brought the sealed box with the part in it and opened it in front of me. It turned out that, although the model number was the same, the timer was perhaps older and hooked up somewhat differently. The repair man figured out the nest of wires very quickly and my old washer is working well again. As an added service, he even replaced a clip on the front panel that had fallen off years ago. He used one he had in his tool kit and did not charge me for this. Overall, a very positive experience with this company. I appreciated their sensitivity to the fact that I wanted to save my old washer, if possible, rather than buy a new one. I would definitely use them again.

Definitely would use him again, if the need arises.

The solenoid in our side-by-side refrigerator burned out one night, shutting it down and causing quite an odor. We were happy with the service Dick's had provided in replacing our ice maker the year before, so I called first thing in the morning and he was out within the hour. I thought his price was fair, the service was excellent and we were able to save most of the food in the freezer and frig. This was several months ago, so I don't remember the exact price, but the bill was itemized and the charred remains of the solenoid offered as proof of the cause of the problem. This was our second time using Dick's Appliance; I have since recommended him to others

Request for service was made Tues 12/28. Serviceman arrived at the appointed time the following day and the dishwasher was repaired in less than an hour.

They were kind of slow and chatty. They charged a reasonable price.

I called after 5 pm Monday and had a service technician at my door by 10 am Tuesday; technician came prepared, knew exactly what to do, showed me the reason for replacement, and was completely finished in under an hour. Couldn't ask for more!

A repair person was sent on less than 24 hours notice. He fixed the washer in like 20 minutes. He had the part and knew just what to do.

The service tech was very frank with the estimate after checking the cost of possible repair parts. He gave me the best case scenario and the worst. A couple days later the parts came in and they came out the same day to do the repairs. Things went very well. It tuned out to be the simplest fix so the extra parts were not needed. I got a ninety day warrantee. I would use them again.

I could have done this myself but I never have the time. He was able to have it working in about ten minutes. He is friendly and really knew what he was doing. He also has repaired my washer and is fair in price too.
