They answered the phone promptly and had a repairman out within a couple of hours. The gentleman was professional and had my refrigerator repaired quickly. I would definitely use D**** again.

Was prompt, courteous, and very informative. For three days refrigerator was making a sick noise but when repairman arrived there was noise. Checked refrigerate and cleaned underneath. If, noise returns will come check and if repair needed service call charge will be included in any charges.

This was a great experience. I called the company in the morning, a real person answered the phone and he had a technician at my house within a couple of hours. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the problem right away. He also changed the way my dryer opened at no additional charge. I will definitely use Dick's Appliance Repair in the future.

I was not happy with a previous appliance repairman and researched Angie's list and contacted D**** Appliance. In describing my problem with the clothes washer the father, Dick, surmised the correction an gave me a quote - we set up an appointment, The son Mike, arrived at the agreed appointment time. Checked the washer, verified the problem and disassemble the washer to replace the part. There was no question that he knew what he was doing and was being careful to stage the parts for replacement. He replaced the defective part and precisely reinstalled the remaining parts in record time. Mike responded professionally and openly to questions concerning our washer and checked the condition of the washer. He made me feel that he was a friend that could trust.

Had a guy here the next day to repair my water line. My old fridge works like new again!

Pleasant repairman who was personable and helpful. He found a bent part of the oven door and was able to straighten it out, without having to replace a part. The repair took less than an hour and he was on his way and I didn't have to replace our entire Oven/ Microwave (they are a connected unit). I was very happy with the results and would call Dick's Appliance again.

I called on a Saturday afternoon, and they sent out a technician within 30 minutes. Fixed the problem plus fixed the dryer vent which was poorly installed by our builder. Would recommend this service!

While he was waiting for the washer to finish spinning, he noticed my utility sink was draining slowly. He found a hanger and tried to help unclog the drain (at no charge, of course). The technician was super friendly and very well mannered. He arrived on time and left after the job was done. He put on booties at the door so as not to track stuff through the house.

Dick's son is very creative and saved us lots of money by using parts from the old machine. He was done in 30-45 min. Professional, fast and the machine has been working great so far!

Notice the date of service was the 4th of July, and remember the heat dome we all were under this summer with 90degree temperatures. My freezer/refrigerator stopped cooling, so I was in a panic thinking I would lose hundreds of dollars worth of food. GE and Sears both had automated voice systems indicating they would not come until after the holiday weekend. Then I remembered to check Angie's list to see if there were any appliance repair companies people recommended. Dick's Appliance Service was A-rated, so I figured I would leave a message asking if they could come on Friday to fix my refrigerator. Lo and behold, Dick himself answered the phone at 2:30pm on July 4th and said, no problem, he wasn't having their holiday barbecue until a little later, so he would send someone out. His son, Rob, arrived within 20 minutes and after I emptied the freezer, he had it defrosted and a new part installed in an hour. My food was saved. Rob was great, very professional and personable too. I thought there would be a huge premium for making a service call on the holiday, but they charged their usual, low ($45) service call fee. Just amazing customer service!

Rob provided excellent service. He arrived on time and was very personable. He cleaned out the dryer hose and part of the duct work at no extra cost. He asked if I wanted the dryer door changed so that it opened to the right to make it easier to transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer. He then made the change at no extra charge to me.

Repairman called enroute, arrived on time, identified the problem and fixed it immediately. From my description of the problem he had an idea of the problem and walked in with the part, was very friendly and worked quickly. I think he was finished in 10-15 minutes. Very professional.

I spent about minutes on the phone with an elderly lady, it took so long because I had to spell out ALL of my information to her to set up an appointment. After she had my information we agreed on a time for the service call. She asked me again what needed to be repaired and I said my Whirlpool Duet washer. Her response was "what is that?" I said a washer and repeated the name. She asked if it was a frontload washer, I said yes. She than Said "Dick do you want to work on that?" I assume his response was "no" because she came back to the phone and said he doesn't work on those and that he could not help me.

My dryer was making a very loud, vibrating noise. Rob came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had to order the part, but was able to come back the next day and repaired the dryer in about 15 minutes. The pricing was very fair, and he was very personable. I highly recommend them!

I purchased the belts with the intention of installing them myself. Because of a rotator cuff problem, I decided to call a professional. The service man came within 1 hour and the job was finished in less than 30 minutes. He took care to insure that everything was working smoothly before he left. I was very satisfied with the service and will definitely call them again.

Needed repair or new washer. Machanic suggested a new one might be cheaper. bought a new one.

The repair person called me right back and arranged a time. He was on time, thorough, and did a great job. He explained the problem and answered questions. I would highly recommend this company.

I called Dick's Appliance on Friday morning and he came in 30 minutes to repair my agitator switch. Amazingly he had the part that was needed and my wash is now cycling as I write. He gave me the Angie's List coupon discount even though I hadn't printed it or knew it existed. I highly recommend him and will not hesitate to call him again when something breaks down.

The repairman pretty much knew what was wrong with the washer before he came. He proceeded to try and take the agitator off the machine, but was never able to get it off. The washer was well over 15 years old. As it turned out he gave me an option for him to literally cut off the agitator and replace it with a new one ($75). But, knowing how old the washer was, the extent of what he might find after he got the agitator off, I had opted to not go any further with it. Even though he was there longer than the original service call limit, he didn't charge me any more than the service call. He gave me a name of a local business that sold top rate used washers, which is what I told him I wanted. I ended up going the next day and purchased a GREAT used washer (Kenmore) and it was delivered on Saturday. I am now again back in the laundry business. I was totally please with the gentleman, he was very professional and had a good attitude.

He came out, but said he had never worked on that model before & reccommended we call Sears, which we did.

The repairman (Ron or Rob ?), was on time, very pleasant, friendly and worked at an appropriate pace.

I had two trouble spots in my home. My washing machine stopped working and the refrigerator was filling with water from the freezer. I contacted Dick and he listened carefully to the problems and arranged to come on Wednesday. He appeared exactly as promised with a clear idea of the problems and how to solve them. Dick was hardworking, personable and professional and in about an hour's time had both appliances taken apart, repaired and put back together. All the while, he was cheerful and diligent. This was an example of how things should be done. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend him highly. And the next time, we have a problem with an appliance I will call Dick.

He was quite good. I thought I need a new dryer and he fixed it, so I didn’t have to buy a new dryer. He was great.
