Description of Work: My dryer wouldn't tumble. Called Dick's Appliance Repair and the service person fixed it without issue. Price was fair. This is the second time I've used this business and will use again.

Description of Work: My dryer wasn't heating. He found out that it wasn't the dryer at all. It was my lint line. It was full. As soon as he emptied it, problem resolved. He also told me I should check it every 3 months.

Description of Work: My oven had quit working so I called them for a quote on fixing it. He was very friendly and punctual. He told us there were a couple of things that could be wrong, but that the cost of fixing either was not worth it and we should just look at a new one. He did not charge his fee for coming out.

Description of Work: Checked out my dryer that wouldn't heat. Cleaned out the vents, said to give him a call if it stops heating as there might be a need for a part but he didn't want to charge me if it wasn't needed. Dryer worked for a couple of loads, then stopped heating. He came back, replaced the part in question and did not charge another home visit charge. Dryer is great, would call again if another need arises.

Description of Work: Diagnose and estimate of repair costs for dishwasher and gas range. The repair tech was on time and professional. He seemed very knowledgable and pleasent. We chose not to repair but to replace the appliances. We would use them again!

Description of Work: We just moved into a condo and we had questions regarding our ice maker and dishwasher that didn't seem to be working properly. Dick made recommendations for us to solve our problems instead of replacing appliances that may not need to be replaced. We would call him again if we need services in the future.

Description of Work: They were unable to diagnose or fix the GE Appliance and rather than needlessly trying, they recommended we go directly to GE Appliance Cust. Srvce. They did not charge us any money, they were very professional, very personable, and they seemed very trustworthy.

Description of Work: Kitchen range repair. Went well. The technician is an accomplished musician. After completing his work he gave us a mini-concert on our Steinway grand. At no extra charge! Really! lol!

Description of Work: Technician was courteous and knowledgeable, and waited for me while I was stuck in traffic jam on freeway without complaint. At first glance it sounded like a new motor was needed for my dryer but the technician quickly determined that problem was a large ball of lint making the motor bind. He removed the obstruction and showed me how to remove the back panel so I can safely access this area myself for periodic cleanings in the future. I was very pleased and certainly will use their services again.

Description of Work: This company came highly recommended; I was not disappointed. He repaired my ice maker and changed the water filter on my refrigerator. I was impressed that he called to see if he could come earlier that the agreed time. What a treat to have someone come early rather than being late. |The price was very reasonable since it also included the cost of parts. |I would certainly call Dick's Appliance Service for any future appliance repair needs.

Arrived on time and repaired it perfectly at a reasonable cost including the discount to Angie's customers. | |In March I called them to repair the washer which was not emptying properly (a sock was stuck in the drainage tube) they repaired it quickly, gave me back my sock, and included a discount on the $75 service call. They also restarted the washer to make sure it was going to completely drain. No problems since with either appliances and I'm happy to have a reliable repair service to call the next time an appliance thinks outside the box..
