Natural Way Lawn & Tree Service

From the initial contact with the salesman through the first application, Natural Way has been courteous and professional. This is our first year in this house on a 3/4 acre lot. The first application was a Crab Grass Pre-Emergent and fertilizer with spot weed control. So far, very pleased with the service and responsiveness of this provider.

Natural Way is expensive and I feel like some of the applications are not effective. It seemed as though weeds grew after they applied the first spring treatment this year. Lawn seems to come up slow and then eventually take off. Like their product because it is safe, just not sure it is entirely as effective as some of the competitors.

I have been using them for 3 years. Their sprinkler repair service was great last year but they have had to come back 2-3 times this year. They are a nice company with good people, but I just feel they should be able to do the job right the first time.

The overall results are good, and we are satisfied. The only downside is that their price is more than others. Hope they could be cheaper.

The sales representative that I spoke with was very helpful and informative. Due to pricing (over $100 more than others), we opted to go with a different company. But, I have no doubt that Natural Way does a great job!

The first year was great. They showed up when they said they were going to. The lawn looked really good. The second year was different. I'll admit it was a tough year because it was over 90 degrees a LOT!. But there were two issues. One was that when I would call to ask them when they were coming out, I would get the response 7 - 10 days. Sometimes it was and sometimes it wasn't--it was longer. The other issue was in terms of an extra weed spraying. I called several times because we ended up with a large (20x5 ft) section with weeds and wanted it sprayed as it is part of the service. When I called (2x at least) I got the 7 - 10 days response every time. They didn't come out and spray. I ended up pulling the weeds out of the lawn by hand which took over 2 hours. When I called to cancel the services this year, they did call me to ask why and I told them. The woman I spoke with said she had never heard anyone have that problem (being told 7 - 10 days and not showing up) the entire time she had been there (7 years). Unfortunately, we are the people that these things always tend to happen to--just our luck. Our neighbor has been with them for many years and doesn't have a problem. Would we use them again? Maybe...it would depend on whether we could get better confirmation of when they were coming. The lawn did look really great...it was just hard to find out when they were coming.

Service results were not acceptable. Had to call for extra application for excessive and repetative weed control and supplier was responsive. Unfortunately, the lawn progressively looked worse. I hired them a second year after they committed to correct the issues, however, the issues continued the second year and I terminated their service at year end. They offerred to have the manager come out if I would continue with their service and I did not accept.

They are dependable and provide good feedback which we appreciate.

No story really - my wife wanted natural lawn care, and our lawn had a lot of weeds. We called Natural Way and they were great.

Had a great deal of difficulty getting in touch with company to start 2011 season fertilization for our lawn. As a result, missed first treatment period. Purchased package for lawn treatments with two extra treatments as a bonus. Prepaid with discount applied. Continued difficulty with communication. Complaints were met with indifference and countered by Natural Way staff with blame on me, the customer, for calling too late in the season for starting the package. Frequently showed up to apply treatments just prior to lawn mowing service, so applications were useless. Natural Way had been notified of my lawn service dates, refused to coordinate. After many fruitless discussions with Natural Way management, cancelled remainder of season and went with TruGreen for last two months, with whom we have been very happy. Refund took over 2 months for Natural Way to process, necessitating many further phone calls. I see Natural Way signs on the lawns of my neighbors and I always stop to chat with them about my experience with Natural Way.

Start to finish: they arrived, did the work, and left the invoice. It is too soon to share the results of this treatment, but we had full preventative lawn and tree services from Natural Way for 4-5 years. We had switched to a company that also did lawn maintenance. We noticed a significant difference in the health of our lawn and trees not having Natural Way services, and we are returning as a full time customer.

The service has gone very well. We are happy with their service. They are terrific. They always leave a description of their service and also leave suggestions.

The company did an excellent job creating a program designed to address our unique needs and executing on that program. We were very pleased with the results - I have used several other companies in my annual "jihad" against millipedes and Natural Way approached the problem thoughtfully and thoroughly with superior results. My "needs improvement" feedback relates to internal communications/documentation. Early on, I had to send one professional back to the shop because he clearly had not been briefed on the issues or plan of attack; also, we had two areas of the yard that were specified as off limits for treatment (herb garden, vegetable garden), but in the case of the herb garden, that spec was not consistently adhered to by team members. Without reservation, I will hire Natural Way to again assist me next year.

They do a nice job. I like that they call us before they come. Their service men have great customer service. Their communication is always good.

I had used another company for years at a previous home, but due to the new move I decided to give Natural Way a try. Frankly, I had been using the other company for so long I didn't realize how sub-par the previous company's service was. (And how annoying the previous company was with their sales tactics.) I'm so glad I switched!! I have been so impressed with the communication and how great my lawn looks in such a short time. They even stopped by one day to just check in to see how things were going. There was no high pressure sales job with the visit...it was simply a visit. VERY refreshing

Our service has been great. The technician is well versed on lawn care and offers us advice regularly. We get a discount for paying the full year in advance. They are on time and call to let us know if when they will be there and if for some reason they can not make it. Our lawn is looking much better than in the past several years.

They then began work on the lawn without my approval. I sent them away and called the office back for the information. There was a long delay in receiving it. When I did get the information, I discovered there were organic elements to the ingredients but it was not what an organic gardener would use.
