This was the only company who was willing to give us an idea about the price before coming out. The guy who came out was wonderful. When the drier was apart, he went the extra mile to fully clean it. He even went onto our roof to make sure the ducts were clear. My REAL complaint is with the people who I called. After the initial hiring, I was the one who HAD to call the company for when my part order came in. I HAD to call them to schedule a return visit. I just didn't think that should be on my shoulders. It should be on them. It was also hard because they gave a 3 hour window when I'm used to it being a 2 hour. BUT with all that said, I would have them back because the guy who came out was professional and knew what he was doing. We weren't taken for a "ride" either. He checked the ducts first instead of just cleaning something that wasn't needed. Our ducts were fine.

My refrigerator quit cooling on the Thursday before Easter. I immediately got on Angie's list and searched for an appliance repair company. I was impressed with the ratings and reviews for this company, plus there was a $25 coupon for services. Because I told them I wanted to go to church the next day they were kind enough to make me the first stop of the day. Unfortunately the technician did not have the part to fix the problem, but he said he would order it and in the mean time I could defrost my freezer the old fashion way so that it could at least be used for the holiday weekend. The part was in a few days after Easter and they promptly called me to come out and install it. Very friendly and professional service.

Karl the on site repair guy was excellent. He immediately showed me the issue with my washing machine and gave me options that were short and long term - did not try to oversell me!! I was so impressed I asked him if he could take a look at the ice maker that stop working that same day. He immediately diagnosed, ordered the part and came back to install without charging for another service call. Great guy, represents your company well and I will use the company again.

After checking Angie's list for companies and asking friends, Maple Appliance is what we chose. I called at almost closing time on Friday and they were here on Saturday morning. The repairman was personable while getting the job done. He opened the freezer and in 5 seconds told us what was wrong. Thankfully he had the parts on his truck and was able to fix the fridge in less than an hour. Thank you!!

They sent a very competent, friendly repairman the next day. He explained the problem, the cost to fix it and didn't try to sell us on having it fixed -- in fact he said he'd recommend a new one. Only charge was the service call.

It turned out, fuse in the circuit board wasn't on.

Great! Came out same day and fixed it in 1 hour. Came out next day for free to do minor touch up (fridge vent was frozen over, defrosted it)

Tech advised repair would cost more than value of appliance

Determined repair cost would be 2/3 cost of replacing 12-year-old dryer. Did not try to convince us to repair the dryer at that cost, much appreciated.

Jim replaced the dryer vent which had crimped. He cleaned the vent, from the basement and from outside. The coil required replacement also. The motor was noisy when the job was completed. Jim explained that the dryer had put additional stress on the motor when it was not working properly. He anticipated that the motor would have to be replaced, but asked me to try a few loads. He was right, the motor went out after the second load. Dan came to replace the motor. It was difficult to remove, so he had to break the blower wheel to get the motor out. He replaced the motor and the blower wheel.

After a couple parts were replaced, another problem surfaced. The technician advised us that the cost for repair would be too high for the washer of this age. He suggested that we purchase a new one. All money was refunded except the charge for the visit and initial diagnostic work.

The technician was courteous and professional. It took couple of visits to find the problem and fix it. During first visit the defrost drain was cleaned up. The dripping outside of freezer stopped but the moisture in freezer remained. The second visit the control board was changed but that did not fix the problem. The suspect then was the temperature sensor/"bullet" in the freezer section. The technician consulted with someone in his office. During the third visit the "bullet" was replaced and that fixed the problem. Paid for servicing charges for first visit. Then paid for material charges for second and third visit. Had some other work performed while the technician was there on my dishwasher and ice-maker

Very fast and efficient. Came out within a day and was able to diagnosis and fix two problems with the unit.

First of all, this is the only company we could find that would repair a Samsung product. We had originally contacted them to repair a dishwasher, but it "repaired itself" before they came out. We asked them if they could repair our two-year old Samsung refrigerator which had had a water leak for quite some time but we had never been able to find a repair service who would repair a Samsung product. They said sure. Dave came out the next day and said it was that defrost water tube which had clogged up with ice. He removed the panel inside the refrigerator, ran hot water through it and it was fixed in about 15 minutes. He told us that this is a recurring problem in Samsung refrigerators and that it may do this again in the future, but told us how we could repair it ourselves by leaving the refrigerator turned off for 48 hours if we didn't want to pay for service again and had the time to do it ourselves and way to keep our food cold in the meantime. I would use this company again in a minute. They were courteous, prompt, friendly and informative. Offered a $25 coupon from Angies List users also.

Both jobs were done perfectly and quickly. They were the ONLY company we called that would repair a Samsung appliance.

Repairman came within two hours of my call. He diagnosed the problem almost immediately and completed the repair in a very short time. He disassembled the entire freezer side of the side-by-side refrigerator, removed ice that had built up due to a faulty defrost mechanism, replaced the part, cleaned up the mess he had made along with many years of accumulated debris (self-defrosting freezers don't often get cleaned), and left it sparkling clean and in working order.

I felt we were taken advantage of by this company and would not recommend them to anyone. I hired them because of their high rating on Angie's list. When I made the appointment I asked what the service fee was. I was told it was 69 dollars to come out and determine the problem with my refrigerator. A repairman came out as scheduled took, literally, five minutes to look inside the refrigerator and tell me it was probably the condenser and it would cost me 1100 dollars. I expressed surprise since the refrigerator is only 5 years old and if the condenser was gone there was no way the freezer would still be working. At that point he said if I wanted to know exactly what the problem was he could pull out his tools to check the pressure but it would cost me 125 dollars. I need the refrigerator repaired so I said OK. He took the back off and declared the condenser to be fine, made several phone calls to get advice on what the problem might be. He wrote up a service bill, said it would cost me 489 dollars to repair and because he had to order several parts and left. The next day I called the manager and expressed my dismay at what had transpired. I also asked for a breakdown of the costs. He sighed and said he had already filed the paperwork but could go find it if I wanted to know. I said I would hold. He said the service man did not break the costs down and he would get the information and call back. That was 2 days ago. Don't hire them.
