Prompt (at my house within 20 minutes). Friendly and professional. Fixed the dishwasher part that we had accidentally dislodged (instead of telling me I needed a new part).

Dryer stopped working at 10:15 a.m.; called Maple Appliance at 11:00 a.m. on a holiday weekend; dryer was fixed by 1:15 p.m. My dryer stopped producing heat, but the drum was turning. The sensor light was stuck on sencing. Jim knew what the problem was, replaced two parts and I was back in business. I am happy and my wet clothes are happy!

showed up diagnosed the problem order the part and repaired it within 2 days. The cost was high, but seems reasonable since someone comes to the house figures out the problem and repairs the machine. I wondered if it would have been more reasonable to simply purchase a new machine. The washer was around a year old.

Total cost was 90 for labor and 60 for parts and 39 for the visit fee. Just for your information. To come to the house is 39 and to diagnose but not fix is 30 more. If you get a repair it is the cost of the repair only, not the extra 30 for diagnosis.

My refrigerator was beeping as if the door was not closed, which was causing the cooling unit to not turn on. A repairman from Maple completed his inspection, although it appeared to me that he was pretending to inspect but did very little in actuality. He told me that it was a a bad mother board and it was going to cost approximately $425 to repair. I inquired if the door switch button that gets pushed in when the door closes could be bad and he told me it had nothing to do with it. I asked how he knew the door switch button wasn't the problem since he didn't test it. He pushed the button in a few times and told me the door switch button was not the problem but if it made me feel better he could replace both parts if I wanted him to, yet he had seen this problem before and was sure replacing the mother board was what needed to be done to fix the problem. I was not prepared to cover a $425 repair for a refrigerator that was about 10 years old. I asked why it was so expensive and he told me it was because nobody stocked the mother board for a Samsung refrigerator so they had to order it from Korea. I told him I would call Monday to let him know if I decided to have it repaired. It was Saturday afternoon. I paid him the $70 service call fee and he went on his way. I decided to go online to do my own research and Googled 'Samsung refrigerator beeping' and found a few postings. I read one that explained how to remove the door switch and disconnect it indicating if the beeping stopped then the door switch was bad and it needed to be replaced. It took me less than 2 minutes to remove it and the beeping did, in fact, stop and the cooling fan kicked on. I Googled the make and model of the refrigerator, found the part online and ordered it for less than $13 including shipping. On Monday I called and spoke to the manager at Maple and told him about the repairman's assessment and what I found online and he told me he never heard of a door switch going bad. He suggested that I still have them order the mother board since it was going to take a few days to ship. I told him I wanted to see if this would fix the problem. He told me to call him back to let him know. When I received the part it took about 2 minutes to install it and it resolved the problem entirely. I was perplexed as to how I could find this information online so quickly and yet a seasoned appliance repair service had never heard of such a thing and insisted it couldn't be the problem. I really found that quite hard to believe. I contacted the manager at Maple once again and asked that exact question. He told me once again that he had never heard of such a thing. I suggested that maybe they should do some additional training and also equip their repairmen with a computer so they too could find this information online. I also asked if the service fee would be refunded since the problem was not what they had diagnosed and I ended up fixing the problem myself. The manager was resistent, arguing that they still incurred the cost of sending out a repairman. I insisted that the $70 should be refunded to me since their repair they indicated I needed would not have fixed the problem. He told me that he would see what he could do and let me know. After a couple of weeks without hearing from him or receiving a refund I called again and argued my point that they had not even correctly diagnosed the problem and would have replaced the mother board which was working just fine. The one good thing I can say about my experience with Maple (other than the repairman was prompt) is that I did receive a check for $70 to refund the service call fee. One other thing I would like to note, I selected Maple based on their 5 star rating on Angie's List. When I reread the reviews after the fact, I noticed there were several people who said their refrigerator required a repair in the $400 range. Just curious if this is a coincidence. I certainly won't call them again and I also have not renewed my membership with Angie's list since I got such a dud that had several positive reviews and a 5 star rating.

We were having problems with our refrigerator leaking as well as our freezer not reaching appropriate freezing temperatures. While fixing the problem required 4 different visits by the repairman (due to needing ample amounts of time to test for the freezer to change temperatures) the repair men were very prompt and responsive and all 4 visits took place within one week. Every time I called to report the need for more assistance, they offered to come out immediately at my convenience and took the time to research and tackle the problem. After the first couple repairs, everything was under warranty and required no payment. I have used Maple Appliance in the past and will continue to use them in the future.

The service was overpriced. They were prompt and I liked the guy enough but the first repair they did was very expensive and did not fix the problem. The second repair was a matter of vacuuming out the outlet and that appeared to fix the problem. It made me suspicious that we could have fixed the problem the cheap way first and I would not have had to replace the dishwasher pump.

They came out on time and fixed my problem. It only took about 20 minutes. Very good service I would use them again for sure. I thought it was a little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.

Jim was prompt and went straight to work. The dryer is located in a very tight space under a countertop with a 6' duct that extends into the garage. He was able to clean everything out and replace a portion that was pinched and causing a blockage. I was able to use the $25 coupon and I would definitely use Maple Appliance again for other repairs.

He diagnosed the issue by listening to my concerns and running the dryer cycle two times on different heat levels. Determined that it was a bad heating coil, quickly and accurately replaced the piece and I went back to my beloved laundry routine! Thankful for his quick and knowledgeable service. Fabulous job done! Very very happy!

The repairman arrived exactly when he said he would, diagnosed the problem and had a price that was close to what my Internet research said it should be. He fixed it promptly, was pleasant to have in the house and cleaned up everything in less than 2 hours. The part we needed was not on his truck and someone delivered it immediately! I will call them next time I need an appliance repair!

We came back from vacation. Our 2 year old French door frig was no longer working. All the food ruined. Called several places but couldn't get anyone out without having to wait three or four days. Maple said they would come out the next day but if anything became available they would notify us. A serviceman became available that same afternoon. He was polite and professional. He gave us some options. When he didn't have the part and had to go get one, we were afraid we would be charged extra. But the price was exactly what he had quoted. Went on line and could have saved some money to buy the part and install it ourselves but the work that went into fixing our refrigerator required a professional!

I used Maple Appliance and they were okay. They were very specific about what they could and couldn't do, and I appreciated that. When they came out they got the job done and it was at a reasonable price.

Freezer worked but refrigerator was not cooling. Called at 8:00am and was fixed by 12:30pm. Had the needed parts with him.

Repairman listened to me describe the problems I was having with the dryer. Then checked out the dryer vent to make sure it was clear and had a working flap to keep little animals out. He then asked me some more questions and after careful examination of the dryer's inner workings suggested some coils be changed. I was told the dryer would continue to work without replacing the coils today, but it wouldn't work as effectively. I opted to have the coils replaced so the dryer will work normally and I won't have to dry loads 2 or 3 times each. I found the repairman knowledgeable, and informative. He did his job and answered all my questions. I will use Maple Appliiance Repair again if an appliance needs repair.

I used Maple Appliance Service about a year and a half ago and was very happy with them. When my dishwasher stopped working, I called them. They were able to have a technician out to my home less than 24 hours after I phoned them & possibly could have been here earlier, but I was not going to be home until this afternoon. The receptionist was very helpful, confirmed the time the technician would be here and told me someone would call when he was on his way. They phoned to let me know he was on the way and he arrived shortly after the phone call. The technician (Dave) tested a few things on the dishwasher and then confirmed it was the thermal fuse and told me the cost of the repair. He had one of the needed fuse kits on his truck and was able to finish the repair. He started the dishwasher and waited while it went through a cycle. He was here approximately 45 minutes and also gave me some tips on how to reduce the limescale build-up due to our hard water. Very helpful!

It was a fine. They came out and fixed it and then something else went wrong a week later. I would probably use them again.

They answered the phone, came when they said they would and fixed the problem promptly.
