Description of Work: Modern provided an excellence service. Managed the health department permits, showed up on time, and provided accurate cost estimates. Everybody I worked with were professional, happy and a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: I needed a leaking shutoff valve under the bathroom sink replaced. They had it done in about fifteen minutes. Great job!

Description of Work: I honestly don't remember the actual cost. Could have been $1200 but I did not write the check, but whatever it was, my husband found it amenable. Provided and installed new water heater. Removed and disposed of old one. Subsequent call because water temp was not adequate. Responded promptly and at no charge. Second set of coils had not been turned up. Usually set by factory but in this case had not. No fault, no foul.

Description of Work: I had a project that I should have done myself, but chose to go with a "pro". I moved into a house that had a 95% finished bathroom but they never capped the drain to the shower. So I hired modern to cut the pvc down to the correct level below the cap and add a cap. They were on time an professional, but charged me over $150 for the time it took to cut a pvc pipe, and then they didn't have the correct drain cap, so they were going to charge me travel time to go get it and install it...OR they had one on the truck that would work if they glued it on (at least that's what they told me". So I chose to have them glue it on...3 Days later after I followed their every instruction on letting it cure and keeping it dry, It popped off. I was a little angry so I went to the store and bought the correct cap for $20 and finished the job myself.

Description of Work: Re plumbed drain for sump pump, washer and water softener. Dug and installed a new sump pump.
