They are fine but we might have to schedule out a little bit if we don't call in a timely manner. They show up on time and are very efficient when they are here. We like them. The staff has been good. We pay $150 a year for the maintenance of both.

They arrived on time, and were done the same day. The work site was left clean, the old furnace hauled away, and the new furnace is much more efficient.

They came out for an estimate to reroute heating and cold air vents in a wall between my dining room and kitchen that I wanted to knock down. After an hour of measuring, they concluded that nothing could be done. They were very punctual, professional, and pleasant to work with, however the next HVAC company found a solution within minutes of looking at the situation at hand. I gave them an OVERALL "B" because they were not able to find a solution to our situation.

.We had Metzger,s do a furnace tune up a while back. The tech. doing the tune up showed me rust inside our 28 yr old furnace and explained it would need to be replaced soon. We received 3 estimates from local contractors including Metzger,s. We went with Metzger,s due to having them do furnace tune ups over the years and getting good service. We also had the most detailed estimate given by Chris Nuyen. We liked that he took the time to check and see what size equipment we needed. Chris was here as project manager & contact person during the install with Tony and Dale who were pleasant and hard working. Chris also helped remove and replace some ceiling panels to keep things moving smoothly. He kept us informed before and during the install.Chris completed all paperwork for the rebates and tax credits available for the furnace and A/C.This was very very much appreciated. They did excellent work.They cleaned up when done. Highly recommended.

Their prices were middle of the road. They haven't made any major mistakes and did a good job installing the furnace and the heating system for our home builders. They have come out and done maintenance for us. The price for their last call was reasonable, given the fact that it was an emergency call. They were certainly prompt and I would call them again because they did a good job.

Once the gas leak was repaired in about 45 minutes, the gas furnace was restarted and the heating system worked well again.

They arrived when they said they would, removed and installed all the equipment, completely cleaned up the area and answered all my questions. They even took the time to help me with some duct worked which they did not need to to do. My neighbors recommended them so I felt confident that they would do a good job at a fair price.

It went as they told me it would.

It went great ... I'm always a bit nervous when companies only set time ranges vs. actual appointed times but they kept me informed so I knew if he would be there at the front or back end of the time range. It's also great that he called as he was leaving the appointment prior to mine and let me know his ETA ~ very helpful!

Brad / Metzger's was outstanding; I strongly recommend him. He looked over my system, then sat down and inquired about what was important to me in considering my options. He volunteered there were already exemptions for historic, multi-family units in the pending 2013 law (he actually went to Washington and provided input into the new law). Also, my furnace was a 1999 and had a 20year warranty so I would likely receive compensation to repair it if it broke before 2019. When I mentioned I would likely only be in the condo a few months a year, he noted that replacing my furnace/AC electively would most likely not be cost effective however I should consider replacement if either component broke and couldn't be fixed.

This home was a foreclosure and had multiple issues that needed to be addressed, not the least a 32 year old furnace. It is a 2 story home built in 1932 and was wired with knob and post wiring! The second floor had a couple of old furnace supply runs to it but no return air piping to the furnace at all. The second floor full bath did not even have a warm air duct to it! Chris Nuyen, the man sent to give us an estimate was a fount of information on the condition of the existing furnace system, what Metzgers could supply us with, and what problems we might run in to in updating the heating system and adding air conditioning. He went over the house with me in great detail during the initial evaluation, unlike any of the others that gave us an estimate. Metzgers estimate came in a bit above the others but we felt that the knowledge shared spontaneously by Chris was probably a good indication that this company would do the job right. We were right. After we decided to go with Metzgers, Chris, as contact person, gave us a starting date and the job was started on time. True to form with any old house with plastered walls and a lot of cobbled partial remodeling done to it, unforeseen problems were encountered. But Chris, as the project manager, and the installers, Clayton and Russ, worked through the difficulties without a lot of to-do. The job took longer than was estimated due to these difficulties but we still had the guys there every day working hard to get the job done. Chris checked in with us every morning and followed up on the progress throughout the day. When I had a couple of specific requests for additional work to be added, he saw to it that the work was discussed with the installers and that it was done. Metzgers was unique in that the company has certain 'specialists' that come in and do a job and then leave. For example, the wiring required for the air conditioner and new furnace was handled by Steve and his wife. When it came time to charge and initially run the air conditioning system, another man came in just to do this. So what? Well the installers could continue to work on the ducting issues without taking time away from that task. As a result, it seemed to us that the job was done more efficiently.

They were professional and to the point. Their price was good, and the quality of their work was excellent.

I think that their price was high. They did not show up when they said that they would. It was during a big snow. I had to call them a couple of times. The price was not what they had quoted. It was a long wait before the technician showed up.

We choose this company even though it costs a little more, but when they send their representative he explained things to us about what they were going to do. We understood so much better what they were going to do. Even though it cost more we felt more comfortable with them than the other companies we spoke with. We had never bought a new furnace before, and we wanted it to be reliable. He explained how the equipment worked and how they put it together. He also comes back out during the install to make sure that everything is going the way it should go.

They were able to find the problem and got it fixed while a couple of other companies could not. They are pricey but they know what they are doing. They cleaned up after themselves.

A friend of mine who is an electrician told me that this was the company he worked with when he needed an HVAC contractor. They did a great job. I was satisfied with the price. I didn't shop around. We had a great experience with them.

The tech called when he was on his way and arrived in a timely manner. He was very thorough, answered all of my questions, and provided a complete explanation of what was done when the service was completed. This is the first time I have used Metzger's and based upon this positive experience I will definitely be using them again.

Metzger's did a thorough evaluation of my heating system and gave me very honest answers to my questions. They didn't just give the answer that would make them more money, they told me which aspects of my system were fine as is. Very professional and knowledgeable. To top it all off, they didn't even charge a service call, they considered it a consultation. I would definitely use them in the future.

In general we were pleased with the installation of the interior portion of the furnace. However, the manner in which the exterior portion was vented wasn't installed in the same manner in which we were originally told. Overall they did a good job.

The job went very well and everything was explained to us prior. The crew knew their business and completed their work on time. The heat pump is working well and should we have any concerns they will be out to address them. I have already recommended them to others.

The receptionist wasn't very friendly and spoke down to myself and husband, however the service tech (Ray) was very helpful and nice. He was a little late to the appointment but the office called me to let me know when they realized he would be late.

I spent around $6500 on the job. They are a good company and I was happy with the work that they did. The work was completed as described.
