I called and was told they do not service 49057 contrary to the website. Please fix the angi website and remove my rating once done.

Had someone out to get a quote for an AC replacement. The estimator showed up on time and was polite and told me he would get a quote to me in about 24 hours. I never heard anything from them again. I emailed after a week and called after 2 weeks and never heard anything back. I guess they don't want my business?

Phil can our and provide an estimate and a complete overview of the services. Within 24 hours or receiving the quote the work was scheduled and completed. The work was done in an extremely clean, professional and prompt manner. All employees of Metzger’s throughout the process were more than willing to take the time to answer all of my questions in great detail. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. The time and cost for the water heater replacement was significantly less than other local competitors that were quoted.

Great. A technician came over the weekend to get the furnace to run well enough to get by until the replacement was installed. Four days later we had a new, reasonably priced, efficient furnace. Communication was good. The installation took much less time than we expected.

Terrible customer service experience, 8:30 appointment, I finally called them at 10:00, "Sorry he was delayed, I should have called, I will call you with an updated arrival time." 11:36 they finally call to say he is on the way. I asked him what happened, "What do you mean?" You were supposed to be here at 8:30, "I don't do anything at 8:30 but take care of my own customers." What am I?

It goes fine. They installed the system when I built the house seventeen years ago and I have been using them ever since just to do an annual checkup. I have confidence in them.

Very thorough in evaluating AC unit and installation reqirements. Provided information and pricing on 4 possible units, with no pressure to choose one over another. Installation was completed within two weeks of receiving initial estimate. Workmen were ontime and required about half a day to remove and replace the AC unit and ancillary equipment. Upon completion, they left the work areas very neat and clean. Final cost was the same as the estimate.

It was good service! They came quickly to my home and gave me good advice on maintenance. I did have a little trouble with the office, but other than that everything was great!

Angie's List members, be aware that this company is not taking new customers--even to give an estimate for new, non-emergency services, for which I was willing to wait several weeks. Why they retain their list of available services on Angie's List is a mystery. More important, be aware that they are unwilling to refer to other companies. When I asked for a referral, the receptionist said, "we don't have anyone we refer to." In my book, this is discourteous and unprofessional. Metzgers wasted my time today.

Metzgers called and let me know when tech was 1/2 hour out. Tech showed up on time. he was very knowledgable and explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions.. I also asked him to light my pilot on my gas fireplace, which I had problems doing. He did it in a few minutes and again explained what he was doing. On his way out I mentioned my central air unit which is an older unit but working fine. He said he take a quick peek and said it looked great, gave mea couple suggestions and said just keep having it serviced every year and I may get many more good years from it. It was a very pleasant experience and the Techincian, Joe, was great doing business with. I would not hesitate to call Metzgers and ask for Joe to service my air conditioning in the spring

The service was done on the day I asked for. The technician was prompt, efficient, courteous and explained things well. We have used Metzger's for years becasue they do good work at a fair price.
