Joe missed our appointment altogether due to an overheated engine. Failed to follow up after the fact to reschedule. Poor customer service and communication to say the least.

Joe did a great job with my water softener installation. He promptly gave me a quote for my installation, provided requested "specs" for the softener he would install, followed up appropriately and arrived to install when promised. I am very pleased with his work and recommend him without hesitation.

Once again, Joe did a superb job. He responded to my initial request for quote within minutes with a very competitive price. He was able to be here a day earlier than expected, which was great. He got the job done on time and the work looked excellent. Solder joints on the copper lines were very nicely done. He left the work area cleaner than it was when he arrived. Overall Joe is every bit the professional. He restored my faith that there are still some people in business that provide high quality service!

I had a 15 yr old very large (75 gallon) water heater on its last legs. I submitted an online request and Joe got back to me the next evening via text. After I sent him a picture of my current water heater, he immediately provided me a quote. Due to an unfortunate injury to his apprentice, Joe found himself in a difficult situation come install day as he had no help to move the heavy water heaters. He texted me very early in the morning to explain the situation and to see if he could reschedule. After I explained that my current water heater had started to leak and that I wasn't comfortable delaying the install, he agreed to do the install himself. While I gave Joe a hand to get the new water heater out of his vehicle and the old one in his vehicle, Joe did the entire install himself. He was very quick and professional. I have nothing but good to say about Joe. While I have read other reviews raising concerns regarding communications, I can honestly say that I did not experience any of that. But do keep in mind that you are working with a one-man operation which means that he might occasionally slip up regarding a missed return call. If he does, give him another chance. He is good at what he does.

Joe responded to my burst pipe quickly and arrived promptly at the appointed time. He was fast and fair with the repair, and took a few minutes to educate me on how to prevent this in the future. Good guy.

Absolutely Exceptional Experience! We called Joe for a quote on installing a water heater. Joe gave us a firm quote for a new water heater over the phone. His price was significantly lower than other bids for essentially the same work. He arrived on time, was very personable and took his shoes off upon entering (which is very courteous), within a few hours the old water heater was gone and the new one was up and running. Joe is very knowledgeable about what he does, very professional, and it is obvious that he cares about the quality of work that he does. We will defiantly recommend him to others and will be calling him for all of our plumbing needs!

I placed all of my information into a form and contacted the number 1 plumber on the returned list. I called and left a voicemail only to get a return text message, not a call, indicating "Very sorry, out of commission". I responded "How long?" and they told me next Tuesday. I responded it was ok because I'm out-of-town and just need it done within two weeks (burst pipe, no water), and they never replied. In my opinion, that's not a way to run a business and not very reliable. I at least expected a phone call - I had called them and not texted them.

Joe did an excellent job. Everything was done as promised and expected. He arrived on schedule. Job was done efficiently and neatly. Cleanup was done to satisfaction. Joe was professional, friendly and polite. I would recommend him to anyone.

Joe did a great job. I texted him a couple pics of our existing hot water heater and he texted back a quote within a couple of minutes. He scheduled a time to do the install and showed up as agreed. The installation went great. No problems, I would definitely recommend him. He installed a 40 gallon Rheem.

Wow! Joe was fantastic! He was highly responsive, timely, and provided me with a very fair and reasonable estimate. He installed a new sump pump system in my 1961 house. He also made sure that the pipes from the water softener were correctly routed, and then he replaced all of my corroded pipes in my full bath. His work was thorough, and he cleaned up everything afterwards- you would not even know he had been there (besides the new plumbing!). I felt like he charged me an incredibly fair price for the work he performed, and overall I could not recommend him higher. He is an A+ and I will call him immediately for any future plumbing needs.

Absolute first rate service. We had a 20 year old electric water heater that was beginning to fail and expressed interest a tankless/on demand to help with demand when 3 showers in a row would be placed on the supply. Joe listened carefully and suggested a power vent reservoir system run off of LP that would be more cost effective to install and run (i.e. less money) and less potential for maintenance. Given the moderate age of our home (35 years), he scheduled an on-site visit to make sure his initial proposal would be the best solution after our initial phone call. His service was prompt, efficient and expertly crafted. Definitely going to be the first call made for our future plumbing needs. Our experience was 100% consistent with the other reviews of his firm on this website.

Outstanding plumber and intelligent, thoughtful and very personable young man. Joe returned my phone message very quickly and was able to set a date/time for the work I needed done in a very short time after that call. He arrived promptly, did the job carefully and quickly and left my kitchen in perfect condition. Also took away packing material and the old faucet/filter that he removed. I would say that Joe is one of the very best plumbers I have ever hired since living in Kalamazoo for over 40 years. Don't hesitate to hire this guy! Pricing was super fair.

I used your site and gave my contact information asking for a quote on a faucet replacement. I got an email asking for me to text a picture of what I needed replaced, which I did. I never heard from this person/company again. Apparently what I needed done was not worth their time. Sorry Angie’s list but I gave you a try and you failed.

It's never fun to have to spend money on stuff like replacing a worn-out water heater, but Joe made the process about as painless as it can be. He responded very quickly to my inquiry, which is not always my experience with other companies in these situations. I appreciated that very much, as my existing water heater was leaking, so it was a fairly pressing situation. He had me text him a photo of the leaky water heater, researched what he would need to replace it, sent me a quote, and got me scheduled for the next day. He showed up on time and performed the work efficiently and meticulously, removed the old water heater, and cleaned up afterwards, leaving the area cleaner that it was when he arrived. (How often does that happen?!) And he texted a few days later to make sure everything was working properly (which it is). In addition to the quality of his work, he's also great to work with, professional and friendly and just a really decent person. If you're looking for a talented tradesman who is also a consummate professional, a fast and efficient worker, and personable to boot, Joe is the guy. I already have several more projects in mind that I'll be calling him for. If you've ever lamented that it is hard to find good skilled tradespeople these days, Joe is a beam of hope for the future. It is great to see a talented young person like him in the skilled trades! Highly recommended.

Dependable is an apt name for Joe's Plumbing services. He came on time and within a couple of days of my first call. He put in a top-notch (40 gallon) water heater that requires no flushing and removed the old one. I live in an old house with a narrow stairway to the basement and I was worried about the install. He made it all work and left no mess. He was generous and efficient with his time (e.g., he tested my water softener and swapped out an old shower head to increase water flow). Mission accomplished -- at last, a reliable plumber at a reasonable price. I am thrilled!

Joe did an excellent job, as usual. I called him last week to replace an aged water heater: he gave me a price, and a date and time. He showed up on time and was finished in under two hours. The cost was as quoted - no 'extras'. He left the area as clean as he found it. We've been customers of his for seven years and have found him to be less costly than others, sometimes by quite a bit. In addition, he is knowledgeable and easily shares this knowledge with us, is always courteous, and invariably patient in answering our questions. He's a great plumber!
