Just incase my previous review wasn’t posted. Joe Kerns is the kind of person you always hope to get to do your project. He’s punctual, tidy and very efficient! Reasonable and fare price. Not like the company with the big yellow and Orange trucks that tried to overcharge me. Hire Dependable Plumbing you can’t go wrong.

This is the 2nd time i tried to hire to have some plumbing work done, last year he said he was ill and this year overwhelmed. If he doesn't want the work than he should not be on the list and if it was something about me than I would hope he would say something. I will not try to hire again

It went great. This was the second time in a year that I hired Joe for work, and will hire him again in the future. We also talked about future work where I want Joe to install a dishwasher in my kitchen and install a new toilet for me. Joe does great work and is honest and fair-priced. Excellent job! Prompt response the same day I contacted him. He requested photos and gave me a price for both jobs (within 1 mile of each other). He came on time and was super professional. His price was great for both jobs and he did the jobs the next day. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a water heater replaced!

Yet another exceptional experience with Dependable! Joe was responsive and the price as reasonable. In anticipation of a basement waterproofing, I needed the water heater moved (the same Water heater Joe professionally replaced/installed for me a couple of years ago). Not only was he able to move it efficiently, he replaced some original piping and repaired some damage from an inadvertent leak that left mineral buildup at a connection(s) from our high quality Kalamazoo water (sarcasm noted). Highly professional and skilled, you shouldn't hesitate for a second to give Dependable and Joe Kerns a call for ALL your plumbing needs. Hands down the BEST plumber I’ve ever dealt with!! He had me send photos of the tank and area (which I liked because I didn’t have to clear my schedule for the estimate. Super convenient!) He was super helpful in answering all of my questions about my options, he was very polite, left the area cleaner than he found it and he was the lowest price in the area for the best work. Without specifying, he installed a quality brand tank and removed the old one and made sure we knew how to operate everything and suggested we flush the tank every 6 months to extend the life of the tank. I refuse to use anyone else but him now. That’s the only time I’ve not felt like I was getting “hustled” or taken advantage of by a plumber. Such a positive experience during a stressful situation!! THANK YOU!!!!!!

For the three plumbing jobs I have contacted him for, he was only able to complete one - the first one, and for that one he didn't make it out one of the scheduled days because of a family tragedy. I contacted him for a 2nd job because the first job was done well and below any quote I had received from other plumbing companies, he said he couldn't make it out because of the same family tragedy, because he had forgotten he had already told me that. Tried for a third project about a year later. He did not make it out the first scheduled day because of a pet emergency, and mentioned he was fine with me finding a different plumber. On the next day (as previously scheduled) he did not make it out again because of an accident, again, he was fine with me 'finding another plumber'. I just would have appreciated being told 'I would rather not do this plumbing job', before I had taken those days off of work to wait around for nothing. The plumbing company that ended up doing the job charged me $700, and Joe quoted me over four times that, so everything worked out in the end. Just wanted to let people know my experience.

They have never returned our phone call

We have had Dependable Pluming out twice for various projects, and they have been fantastic to work with. They are quick to respond, reasonably priced, and you can tell they really want to be of help. I recommend them all the time and have more work planned for them later this year.

Joe showed up on the day and time he said he would, he performed the work in a timely manner and all work was done to my satisfaction. I have always been happy with Joe's work in the past also.
