This is the third time that I have used Joe for plumbing projects. He has always been very professional -- he promptly schedules your appointment, arrives on time, takes care to keep your house clean, and does a great job. He is very polite and answers all questions.

Our hot water heater began leaking over the weekend and by Monday was no longer operational. We checked Angie's List which had great reviews for Joe Kerns and called him on Monday. Joe rearranged his schedule and came on Thursday to evaluate and plan. Based upon his recommendations and our decisions, he started work Friday at 8:00 am and stayed all day until about 8:00 pm to install everything so we would have hot water for the weekend. He came back a few days later to ensure everything was satisfactory. The system has been in place for over three months, works beautifully, and has cut our gas bill substantially. Joe is a consummate professional who does outstanding work. He is knowledgeable, personable, and cares about his customers. We will use his services whenever we have plumbing needs and can give him our highest recommendation for Dependable Plumbing Services, LLC.

Joe was clean, quiet, and otherwise respectful of the household (the sleeping teenagers didn't awaken). He was in and out almost before I had a chance to notice! The new softener has begun working, we can tell.

After 5 years of owning my house, my water began turning my laundry rust colored, along with the toilet bowls and tubs. It was terrible. Had to buy bottled water by the cart. I called Joe who has recently done a large job in my basement to ask him, he came over right away did some test's and inquired what I needed to have done to fix the issue. I agreed to do what he recommended and he showed up promptly and completed the job just as he described. He removed what spider nest was there when I purchased the house and installed a very nice and clean system. I had to do nothing! Within the hour after he left I had clean water just as he said I would. It's so great!!!

For any job, big or small, Joe is my go to guy for plumbing. I have used his services multiple times in the past so he was the first I called for this repair job. Always professional and knowledgeable, I trust Joe to do a great job at a fair price. I had a gate valve in the basement that started leaking after I closed it for the winter. One phone call and an appointment was made. Joe replaced the old style valve with a much more dependable ball valve. As always, I am very pleased with the results. I am in the planning stages of a much larger project and Joe was nice enough to look over my plans and give me some pointers. You can be sure when this project calls for plumbing, and it will, Joe will be at the top of the list to get the job done.

I heard of joe from a friend he was very polite and very professional. He was able to get the job done quickly and to the satisfaction of wife. Very impressed with his ability and knowledge of the efficient of the particular water heater that he recommed for my home. Would recommend him to anyone that needs any plumbing needs.

Joe Kerns is the owner of the business. He showed up for an estimate to put a bathroom in my basement and completely blew my mind with his knowledge! I thought I was going to have to spend thousands more but in fact I did not spend nearly what I thought! I actually saved$$ !! The job he did was absolutely awesome and I'm very grateful. The time frame and quality was perfect. The service was so quick and clean we couldn't tell he was even there, he completed the job and was finished with no mess and a great bathroom. we love it!!!

The name of the company includes the word "Dependable," but that name is far from the truth. I scheduled an appointment and moved everything out of the bathtub and closet with access door to plumbing. Joe cancelled and rescheduled, requiring everything to be put back in place. He came to the next appointment and couldn't do the work, as it required more time than he had allotted. Everything moved back into place again. Moved everything for another appointment, and he cancelled. Moved everything again for another appointment, and he cancelled. That's 4 appointments with no work performed. I do not consider that dependable.

As usual Joe did an excellent job. He came on time and got right to work. It took him a couple of hours to do the job because one faucet had to be specially fitted, and the another faucet had to be cut out because the parts had calcified. In the end both new faucets were installed and are working great.

I got a call back maybe 10 minutes after leaving a message - he was on vacation but took the time to talk to me about my problem and give me a few recommendations. Very professional and polite - this will be my first call for future plumbing problems.

Other than a delay in the delivery of the vanity and replacement of the flooring and paneling by another contractor, Plumber replaced everything else in a timely manner. Work was completed to our satisfaction, and I might add, our delight. Would highly recommend this Professional to friends and family for any and all plumbing work

Great. I could not tell where the leak was coming from and it wasn't leaking when he got to the house. Joe carefully went through all the possible source before discovering it was coming from an old refrigerator. He didn't try to sell me any thing or make a bigger deal about it than it was.

Great work. On time and on budget. It's amazing that dependable plumbing is a one man show. Joe's work ethic is second to none, and we will use him in the future. He was respectful of our home and our schedule. Highly recommended!

Communication was great and prompt. He was on time and managed through the repair and work quickly. The job was done extremely well, he was personable and his rates were spot on. Call Dependable Plumbing Services if you need plumbing done, I will never use anyone else. We had done the plumbing of our 'hands-on' house ourselves; but when it came to the basement bathroom (where sewage had to be pumped UP to our septic tank) decided we needed a professional. Given his reasonable prices, we were glad to hand over installation of all fixtures (only excepting assembling the shower surround, which he wisely suggested we would be better off doing ourselves, because of the time involved -- he was right, it just took a lot of time and attention but was not crucial to be done by a plumber). We were so happy with his progress, that we asked him to finish a (somewhat botched) effort to install outdoor faucets. He also noticed we had incorrectly put up some metal hangers on copper pipes (which our do-it-yourself books had not mentioned, as far as we could remember) and he corrected this (and not the least bit snide about it, as professionals sometimes will be toward us do-it-yourselfers) Joe was Dependable (as advertised) ... came when he said he would; finished on the schedule he gave us. We would hire him again for any needed plumbing jobs.

Joe recommended a high quality water softener that I needed because of the last one needing to be replaced so soon. He also re-worked some plumbing on my hot water heater that needed to be done for code. I would highly recommend Joe because of his professionalism, honesty, quality of work and fair price.
