I was very pleased. The service provider was friendly and explained everything. He replaced the thermocuppler with just a charge for the part - no labor. He did not try to sell me anything that I didn't need. I will be using them again in the spring for a check-up on my central air.

Of several estimates they weren't the cheapest, but given the warranty on the Amana unit, they were the best value. They were able to make an appointment for me on surprisingly short notice and were prompt and efficient. A few days after the installation, the weather turned really hot and there seemed to be an issue. They came out that EVENING to make the adjustment that was needed and explained everything ? the unit had been overcharged at the factory. It's been perfect since. They could have sold me a more expensive unit, but explained that given the age of my house, the ductwork, etc, I wouldn't benefit from that. He recommended the perfect unit, it costs less to operate than I expected, and it's kept me comfortable all summer.

Adam's technician arrived a little late to the job on the Friday afternoon before Labor Day due to a mis-communication with his dispatch. Scheduled ETA was 3 pm and he arrived around 5:30. Once he arrived at our house though, everything went very well. My AC unit had stopped working the night before, and this was on a day in the mid-90's, before a holiday weekend. The Tech (Josh) realized we also had company that day and that we would all be very uncomfortable if the unit was not fixed. Despite being the beginning of a holiday weekend and the fact that the job became much more complicated than originally thought, Josh stayed well into the night to finish the job. First he had to replace the motor, which stopped working due to some sand or sediment that got into the bearings. A suitable replacement unit was not in standard stock in his work vehicle, so he had to travel to the part supplier warehouse, after hours, and make special arrangements to get the needed motor. Installation of the motor took several hours due to the poor serviceability of the design of the unit. Once the motor was replaced, the unit still did not work correctly. After even more diagnostic work, he discovered that the struggling motor had also shorted out the electronic control board. At this point it was around 9 pm and Josh kept working. To get a replacement Josh needed to place a special order, which would not be able to happen that late on a Friday night. However, Josh went the extra mile and temporarily wired the electronics of the unit to allow it to run and cool down the house (around 90 degrees at this time) for our family and guests over the weekend. He promptly followed up early the following week to install the replacement control board and correct the wiring. The cost of the repairs was not cheap due to cost of parts, but despite the above extraordinary efforts, Josh did not charge us for the full amount of labor hours worked. He clearly explained the charges and payment was quick and easy. THEN, one week later, the unit began leaking water onto the carpet of our finished basement due to a clog in the humidifier plumbing. Josh again came out and was very punctual, and fixed the issue in around 90 minutes. Because Josh and his supervisor knew how much I had spent on the previous repair, they did not charge me anything for this service visit, despite the fact that this issue was basically independent of the first issue that they came to fix! My compliments and sincere thanks to Josh and Adams Heating and Cooling for going the extra mile to make sure our family and guests were comfortable in our home.

I thought they had one of the best services ever and I would certainly use them again. They had excellent service, friendly and were responsive. Even though they couldn't fix my problem they still spent a lot of time helping me about and giving me ideas without charging me. They were very good and honest and help me identify what I needed instead of telling me what they had to offer.

Our A/C ducts are attic installed because we have hot water floor heat. We had a mold problem in one of the ducts causing an odor problem. The duct was an accordian round type so it had to be replaced. Adams came as promised and on time. Very professional, as expected.

Our AC unit went after 27 years of faithful service. I called Adams, expecting to have them try to sell me a new one. The repairman came within an hour, inspected the unit, and told me that the compressor was sound and held refrigerant, He found the problem with the cooling fan, replaced the part and was gone by that afternoon. Instead of replacing a $4,000 tower that we only use a few weeks of the year, I bought a few more years with a repair bill of $400. I am grateful that the repairman was honest, professional, punctual and that he didn't try to sell me a new unit when my old one was still serviceable.

We called and explained what happened and Rob came out within hours of our call. It was extremely cold and we were very happy to see him. We have also gotten estimates on different heating systems for our old farm house and the prices and advice were very fair. We have not gone that route yet, but would use them if we did.

The owner came out to do a furnace inspection and I asked him for a quote on a new furnace and air. He gave me the price which was right where I expected it to be. I asked him "what are you doing next week?" His two employees started the following Tuesday and by Wednesday night I had heat. On Thursday morning they installed the central air unit and completely cleaned up the basement. They did great work, were pleasant to work with, and left the place like they found it. Nice job!

I have had check ups done twice a year for 10+ years, but I have been unhappy with my previous HVAC service company for the last year and decided to change companies. I had called Adams a couple of years ago for an emergency at my father-in-law's home, and found them prompt and efficient. I called them this spring and told them I needed a tune-up on two different furnaces (mine and my father-in-law's) and they scheduled for both within two days. They were prompt, knowledgable, and competively priced. They did not suggest a service plan, which I appreciated. I like to pay for the service I get.

Very professional and courteous. Got the work done in one day and came back next day to be sure all was well. Built a cradle for the larger pressure tank in crawl space. Old pressure tank was directly on concrete and was rusting through. We have improved water pressure and more hot water. Very happy with the job done
