Adams Heating & Cooling

Installation went fine. Started having banging issues so called Adams. Workman came out and said we needed a new part outside the heater. 350 dollars. When I balked at that, he said , you can try draining the water I. The house, and then restarting. It worked. He was there less than 15 minutes, didn’t do anything, and charged us 110 dollars. He could have started with the latter. Will not use them again. I understand there might be a minimum fee, but 110 was stupid. Very unhappy.

It went as expected as the unit was repaired and I had heat again.

They were honest and gave an advise to consult first with the city public works.

It was great. The technician arrived on time, explained what he wss doing, and made future recommendations, including sending quotations so we can budget for eventual replacement (both furnace and AC are about 15 years old).

As expected. pretty normal service.

It's an individually owned business and they've always been responsive if we've had any issues; which we haven't had any. They keep their stuff good. My husband has also used them in the barn office for heating and air and he was very happy.

Spring maintenance where they come and check the filters and stuff.

Very well. Josh was early but called ahead to be sure that was ok before showing up. It worked well for me. He was professional and answered all of my detailed questions about the readings he was showing me and the coolant refill situation, reasons, and options.

It was a high, high-efficiency two stage high-efficiency furnace. I even asked for some add-ons after they did the estimate and they gave some very reasonable prices for the add-ons. They did go through the application for the energy credit, so I didn't have to fill that out.

We just had air conditioning put in.It was a wonderful experience although while they were here I found out I needed a new water heater.They are responsive, they came the next morning to see if I needed a new air conditioner and the air conditioner was sitting in the upper room. They were here when they were supposed to be here.

They explained everything to me. It was just 1 person. I just thought they were a little high.

Was scheduled within 2 days of calling for an appointment, technician showed up within the time frame and did a great job. Happy!

Excellent - from the initial phone call to request service, through the end of the technician's visit, the entire process was easy and everyone involved was very friendly and helpful. After another company said it would be a week + before they could arrive, Adam's said "we can help, we'll get someone out there today." True to their word, the technician arrived late that afternoon and even called when he was on his way. Upon arrival he asked about the problem and performed a few tests to be sure he knew what was wrong, before just replacing parts. He determined the issue, had parts with him, and soon the heat kicked on and worked great. He also performed a very thorough inspection to be sure of safe operation for the winter season. In the past we have had other companies do a seasonal inspection, but now that we have had Adam's do it, I realize how little the other companies did. Service was great, the technician (Andy) was very knowledgeable and careful and very patient with several questions from homeowner. Thank you!

Called and was scheduled an appointment the next day Josh the service technician arrived on time. I explained how my system was not cooling as normal. He checked and explained that my system needed recharging. In and out in 30 minutes . System working great and was given a 5% Angies List discount!

It went well. He assured me that my furnace, while it is old is still in good working order. He explained how these furnaces work and the parts that go bad usually are still in great shape. He also told me that they work on these and can order parts if I did have any issues down the road.

These folks were wonderful to work with! They did everything as promised and completed the job at the estimated price. The installers were friendly and very professional. Everything was completed within the promised time and cleaned up as if they were never here! I would most definitely recommend them to friends and family!

The individual who came out to do the quote was excellent. He was very polite, punctual and professional. Their price was competitive and reasonable but they were out bid by another company (not by very much but i'm cheap). I would definitely consider using this company for any future HVAC needs.

Our furnace blower quit working on a Monday evening. I contacted Adams Heating & Cooling that evening and told them about the problem and that I did not need them that night but would need someone first thing in the morning. They said it would be no problem. I then called them back that next morning and confirmed a service tech was scheduled. Josh arrived from Adams and he confirmed we needed a new blower motor. Because of the age of our furnace (21yrs) I asked for a quote on a new furnace. Josh had all of the information with him and was able to provide us with the quote. We decided rather than put money into the old furnace we would rather replace it. Josh was able to temporally repair the unit until the new furnace was to be installed on Friday at no charge to us! On Friday the installers arrived on time at 9:00am and the installation was completed by 2:00pm that afternoon. The Installers Andy and Tate were pleasant and very professional. Overall our experience with Adams was excellent.
