Adams Heating & Cooling

After the central air conditioning unit in my home quit producing cold air on a Sunday, I called Adams early Monday morning to ask for their help with an inspection as soon as possible given high heat and humidity for the next few days. Although the scheduler was unavailable when I called, the gentleman who answered took my contact information and told me she would call as soon as she returned. She called me back within an hour and, after taking additional contact information, told me the technician would be at my home within 2 hours. Another company quoted me a wait of at least 24 hours so obviously with Adams' reputation here on Angie's List, I hired Adams. Within 2 hours, Mr. Adams showed at my front door and diagnosed the problem quickly as a faulty capacitor and explained to me the purpose and problem as related to the part. He was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful with such short notice and I'm grateful I gave them a shot with this issue. When the reasonable bill was issued, he even reminded me that I have a discount via Angie's List which I would have overlooked with my focus on getting the problem corrected. Service is clearly important to Adams Heating and Cooling and they excelled in every way in this experience. Thank you, Mr. Adams!

Was on time, showed me the issues I had regarding my Heating/AC system including the leaking lines. Provided me with updates about his working with his boss about my quote to replace both furnace and AC systems as needed.

It turned out fine but I think they were out of business because I couldn't find them after they did the job. I can't find them in the internet. They did a reliable and excellent job. They came in a timely fashion.

I chose not to use them because of scheduling issues and their bid was a little more than others.

It was a below zero morning after a snow storm and we awoke to find our furnace would not turn on. We put in a call to Adam's Heating & Cooling and they responded in a professional and concerned manner that their business was completely snowed in from the snow storm, but they would come as quickly as they could. It took them about an hour and a half to come, but it gave us time to shovel our driveway so they would not get stuck. The serviceman was very nice and friendly. He looked at our furnace for a couple of minutes and said the vent pipe was covered with snow. This was keeping the furnace from getting enough oxygen for the pilot light to stay lit. He grabbed a ladder and our snow shovel, went up on the roof, shoveled out our vent pipes and was back inside checking the furnace in less than 10 minutes. He waited for the furnace to start up, and made sure it was heating. We had 2 -3 feet of snow in our yard and on our roof and it was below zero, but this guy acted like it was no big deal to run out there and shovel part of our roof. He had our furnace up and running in less than half an hour and did it all with a smile on his face! Worth every penny of the $90 service call. We'll definitely use Adam's Heating & Cooling again!

Responsive and good repair ($126). Different tech. Both very good. Will use Adam's from now on.

Work was very good. Technican was courteous and professional. He was later than scheduled, which was OK but I would have expected a call from the office saying the technician was delayed at the first appointment and would be 20 minutes late.

They checked everything and make sure the furnace was working good burn clean

I recommend this company to anyone that needs a furnace tune-up. Josh not only inspected and tuned-up our furnace, replacing the filter, but he also gave some recommendations on how to keep things running smoothly. He went "above and beyond" the call of duty as we tried to capture a squirrel that had found it's way into the house earlier that day! I will be calling again in the spring when it is time to start up our AC!

I had scheduled the original appointment for a week earlier, the day after I thought I'd be home from vacation, but I was off by a day, so when I received a call from the service tech (Mike) asking where I was, I apologized and said I was out of town. He was very understanding & said to just call the office to reschedule. When I got back in town, I called the office to apologize & reschedule. The office was also very understanding and accomodating & I rescheduled for the following week. Mike showed up right on time (I showed up as well!) and did everything as advertised; he even replaced the filter (when I had on hand) for me when I asked him to. I bought an "Angies List" special for this service & wasn't sure what to expect; sometimes with Groupon, companies treat you as a second class customer once they find out you are redeeming a Groupon special, but this was definately not the case with Adams; I was treated to first class service! I will certainly call Adams in the spring to check my AC unit.

I purchased a big deal for this company. It was just fine. They were out within a week, they were quick. I like their service. I like what they did with that filter. I mean the guy didn't have to do that.
