Description of Work: OK everybody so here's the terrible news: we needed a new roof. Here is the wonderful news: we used Above Roofing & Exteriors and we are currently on the cloud-9 of roof-buying with our customer experience. | |"Does that even exist?" you ask, eyebrow raised in skepticism??? | |Well, after several strike-outs with other random roofers (no-shows, no call-backs or just weirdos) we did NOT think finding a roofer we liked was possible. But then we found Above Roofing and our worries faded fast. From first consult with Robert, to Glenn our foreman, to the guys swinging hammers, everyone was above-lovely at every interaction!!! | |They ran into all kinds of unexpected issues along the way and they addressed each one with patience and an attitude of "let's do this the right way"-their integrity was admirable. | |My best advice is: don't need a new roof. But my second-best advice is, if you need a new roof, immediately call the pros at Above Roofing. They will be your brand new roofing besties! |

Description of Work: Initial roof inspection with photos and descriptions. Recommended repairs were completed on schedule within one day of starting the work. Very nice to talk with and professional work all around.

Description of Work: Replaced all the windows (31) and put new siding on Bi-level home.

Description of Work: The company did an excellent appraisal, I'm just not sure that the proposed repair/improvement work is timely right now. If we do decide to go ahead with a project, we will use Above Roofing.

Description of Work: Installed new singles. Tore off old and installed new with a new ridge vent and skylight. They need to repair some moulding around the skylight inside the house yet. Also installed leaf guards, but not overly happy with this aspect of the installation.

Description of Work: They put new caps on our roof. I would use them again, but we moved out of the area. They were on time, kept me informed and cleaned up when finished. I'm not sure of the exact date, but it was in the fall of 2014. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Description of Work: We had a couple of small valley leaks and they came over, identified the issue, and were able to fix the problem without a whole lot of fuss.

Description of Work: Robert was able to trouble for our specific needs and problems and came up with a design and products for our roof.

Description of Work: Our roof was damaged when a tornado blew off shingles, damaged many others and also blew a tree onto one corner of the roof. Above roofing replaced the roof, installed new ridge vents and another venting system to help ventilate our Cape Cod style attics. They also replaced two leaky skylights and replaced our unattached garage roof as well. The workers were polite, efficient and very respectful of our property and privacy. Not once did I notice any of the workers looking into our windows as they were working. (Wish I could say the same for the company we hired to replace our siding!)Every last piece of debris was picked up. I did not find a single nail in my yard when they left! I was also very pleased that none of the workers smoked on my property, used inappropriate language or blasted their radio. They didn't shout at each other either. When my neighbors used a different company for their roof it was constant shouting, all day long for 3 days. Not with Above Roofing! Truly the most respectful crew I have ever dealt with! The foreman discussed concerns with me and checked to make sure they were doing things the way we, the homeowners wanted. Above Roofing worked with our insurance agency while we were filing our claim and were very patient when one of the checks somehow got lost in the mail! Hands down the best experience I have had with a home improvement project!

Description of Work: Replaced roof. Most of the plywood was defective and had to b replaced. This was not know ahead of time but it was done in a reasonable and fair manner. May not be the cheapest but overall the experience was positive. Did not get another price so not sure if it would have been cheaper with someone else.

Description of Work: Jerry inspected our roof for insurance purposes and conducted some minor repairs. He was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We'd gladly have him back for an estimate when we're ready to re-roof in a couple years.

Description of Work: Increased attic ventilation to reduce formation of ice dams following heavy snowfall. Work went well. It remains to be seen whether or not it solves the ice dam problem.

Description of Work: Great company to work with. My roof was leaking and they responded to my call very quickly. Although they weren't able to do the work right away, they were able to temporarily stop up the leak until they could return. They returned and fixed up my roof a couple of weeks later. I would definitely call them again.

Description of Work: He did an awesome job getting the ice dams from the edge of my roof. Clean up was great.

Description of Work: This went well from the start. I called their office and was told that the quoter would be at my house on a certain day at 11 :30 am. Jay Rainer was there right on time. He looked at my flat 3 season roof and explained what material would be used etc. NO HIGH PRE$SSURE. Everyone from the office girl to the workers were polite, hard working and friendly.When I asked Jay when did he think the job would take place, he thought about 3 weeks because some of the product needed warmer temps. Well, everyone knows what happened with the weather. It stayed cold and rained. They finally got the job done and I am pleased. Jay came back after it was ffinished and checked the work. He even picked up a few scraps that were left. Jay is a keeper. I will certainly call them when my garage or house needs shingles. TOP NOTCH COMPANY.
