My neighbor was having their roof replaced. Above Roofing’s crew drove their portable dumpster on our property without permission. And not by just a little bit. And their crew chief lied about it to my wife. I have no respect for liars. Take a look at the picture, the green utility boxes in front of the black truck mark the property line and my property is to the left of them.

They were outstanding and we would highly recommend them. We would definitely hire them again.

Our area had been hit with high winds - many homes needing some repair. I called once - and someone was out a few days later. I received a phone call that someone was on their way and a phone call when it was finished. Great communications - which tells me it's a well run company.

They provided plastic covers for the carpet and floors and cleaned up after they were done. Great job.

Job was competed and no leaks have occurred.

They were very prompt and friendly. The craftsmanship was really good. I highly recommend them.

started off great, but once I said that I would move forward with their company my customer service experience dropped. Most of my issues were what seemed to be a lack of communication. It felt as every time i called, no one knew who I was or what my project was. Then I would not hear back for days (basically until I followed up), unless i was talking with the office ladies, they were great. Once my project was completed I did receive a call from the owner apologizing for my experience. All in all, I think that they were over booked when I called for a quote, took my job, and then a tornado hit and they became even more over whelmed. In the end I would have rather just been told that they could not handle my work load, than have dealt with all the headache they caused.

Overall it went well. They did not clean-up the attic.

David Wygmans came out to our house on August 2. He was very professional and did a thorough search of our entire house to find the problem with our leak. He was constantly updating me on what he was finding. After about 30 minutes of getting on our roof and looking through our house, David determined that it was not actually coming from our roof rather it may be an issue with out window from our attic. He gave us a lot of different options on how we may be able to fix that issue. Though we did not end up needing any work done, I would recommend Above Roofing to anyone needing roofing needs.

I contacted Above Roofing at the beginning of April 2016. Robert showed up exactly on time, and was very professional. The estimate process actually began inside the house up in the attic. Robert was checking for ventilation and the condition of the wood decking. Above Roofing was the only contractor to do this (very impressed). Robert then spent a good 45 minutes on the roof going over everything with a fine tooth comb. Please note, that only half of the contractors we had out got on the roof. In my opinion how can a contractor provide a good estimate if they don't do a complete inspection. Needless to say, those contractors were immediately cut. Robert found some flashing issues along with why we had wood rot next to the gutter. The gutter was cut too short when it was installed 18 years ago. Robert gave me an estimate on the spot and spent a good deal of time discussing his company's process for installation. Again I was very impressed and it was evident that this is a company that takes a great deal of pride in their work. This is exactly what I was looking for considering that I'm not on the roof, and honestly would have no idea what I was looking at anyway. I will say that Above Roofing is not the cheapest path to go, however, you get what you pay for. Plus the last thing I wanted was to have a leak...by that time it's way too late. Additionally, Robert told me that the job could take up to 3 days. He was the only contractor to tell me this....the other ones told me one day. Again, what's another 2 days to ensure a quality job. Furthermore, Robert was setting expectations up front which I appreciated. On the day of the job, the crew showed up on time and got right to work. We had some weather in the area, so they only worked for one day (about 40% of the job was complete). However, Above Roofing is methodical and they make sure the house is weather proof before leaving the site. The crew returned on Monday, and had the job done by the end of the day. Very well done plus their clean up process is very thorough. I didn't find one nail in the landscaping, but that wasn't surprising given how careful they were around the plants. The only time I found nails was after the dumpster was removed. However, these were under the dumpster...I wouldn't expect the crew to find those any way. Robert came back out to walk the property with me one last time, and he found a few areas that didn't meet his standards (did I mention his standards are very high). A small crew was out the next day, and they wrapped up quickly. Overall, I am very pleased with Robert and the Above Roofing team. As I mentioned before, they are not the cheapest operation but I'm impressed with the quality. I've recommended them to all my neighbors, and my next door neighbor used them as well.

These folks are amazing! 7 guys showed up when promised. They completely removed 2 layers of shingles from the front of our house and went from there to a new roof on the whole house in 4 days. The people they have working for them are very professional and polite in addition to being competent. We have a lot of very fragile landscaping around our house. Nothing was damaged. The job site was cleaned up every night before they left. I would recommend these guys to anybody with out any hesitation. They are great!

Our pole barn had two layers of shingles and was in bad shape. We received a couple of estimates that were "way" over-priced and not even remotely near our budget. We were referred to Above Roofing and met with Mr. Tommy Wall for an estimate. Mr. Wall was one of the nicest, most down to earth, and professional representatives of a company that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. There was no "hard-sell"...just honest, straight forward information and the best of all was the price...exactly where it had to be! I was out of town when the job was completed and my wife was home when the crews showed up...including Mr. Wall. Oustanding job, great crew, and after the job was done, you really could not tell they were there...the clean-up was superb! Mr. Wall and Above Roofing has earned our trust and respect...we will be using them in the fall for gutter replacement. I highly recommend Mr. Wall and Above Roofing!!

Above Roofing did a timely and conscientious job. They are a professional and knowledgeable group. They were wonderful to have around, kept their mess to a minimum, cleaned up completely, and returned to be sure that all was done as I expected. I was particularly impressed that the products used were made for Michigan's weather. My roof has performed as promised. They went above and beyond, I would recommend Above Roofing to everyone.

I worked with Jerry DeVries and found him to be ethical and professional. He has a background in commercial roofing and that seemed to give him an edge. Of four contractors who bid the job, Jerry and one other asked to go into the attic to check the venting. We have always had large icicles on the front of the house, and Jerry offered the best and most comprehensive plan to fix that issue. I waited until now to review Above Roofing in order to determine if the "fix" worked. It has. We haven't had a since ice dam or icicle. Above Roofing isn't cheap, but they do great work. Also, Above doesn't have it's own workers; they use subcontractors. Jerry said they have three subs they use exclusively.

I purchased the deal but scheduling time frame didn't work for my needs. We were very happy with the customer service and his honesty about his scheduling.

The guy came out for two hours and inspected all issues and explained everything to me that he was doing. They did do a repair by the chimney and he was just so great to work with. They came on time and they were courteous while working. It was such a good experience.

They were timely and thorough. We would use them again.

I had a great experience with them. They went above and beyond. I've dealt with roofing companies who rip off the old rock and stick on another one, but these guys really spent a lot of time on it. They outlined a plan and gave me a good estimate. They actually cut down the door that goes up a flat roof, which was a great idea, considering the leaking issue. They kept to their original estimate.

They are amazing and the quality of the work was great! Their communications were great and the estimator was really helpful. I got detailed information of what they were going to do and took pictures to show that everything had been done. There was a little bit of a miscommunication between them and us and they stopped by to make sure everything was alright and dropped off a Starbucks gift card to apologize which was unnecessary but we very much appreciated that.
