They were a no show.

It did not go at all

The company was quick to give us an estimate. I put down a 50% deposit when I choose the shingles. I forgot to take my recept with me and they brought it to the house. They were willing to be flexible with our travel schedule to do the job when we were home. Because there were so many rainy days, they started on a sunny Sunday (Mother's day). They were fast, efficient and polite. They cleaned up thoroughly. (no flat tires in the next 2 weeks- I hope they got all the nails) They finished in 3 days. Everything was removed from our property within 24 hours after they finished. I was a bit concerned because the owner was not present much, but the roofers did a fine job. There was one small problem. Some of the gutter guard (6-8') was bent during the roof installation. They said they would come back and fix it. They haven't yet (2 weeks later). It is a small and easy and inexpensive fix. We didn't hold back any money. Probably should have held back a hundred to make it worth the trip back. The roof looks great!

After an earlier inspection, Vance said he would perform the required services on the week of Thanksgiving; he never showed and didn't call to reschedule. This has become par for their particular course as many times they (his wife or Vance) simply wont return calls... I hope everything is otherwise alright with them as (according to postings by other people) I was looking forward to him getting the job done.

Very responsible service, he even came on a weekend, with his son to work on our roof. He did a wonderful and professional job.

They started the job earlier than promised, which was a great way to kick it off, a sign of a good contractor. They stayed on the job until it was finished, another sign of a good contractor.Yet another sign of a good contractor is the length of the punchlist. As a construction professional, I am VERY picky when compiling punchlists for clients. Furgeson Roofing is as picky as I am- my punchlist contained 1 minor item, which they took care of immediately. The job was perfect. The price was very competitive. They cleaned up very well.They finished early & on budget. I highly recommend Furgeson Roofing.

Vance initially took over an hour to inspect my old roof. He walked on it and also climbed inside the attic to look at the roof from the inside. We waited until September to get the new roof done, and he still honored the original estimate even though it said "only good for 30 days". I was expecting to have to pay more, so that was really great of him. The crews (roofers, carpenters for the soffits, and electrician for the attic fan) were all friendly and very professional and completed the job in a week. The roofers did an excellent job cleaning up.

Vance Ferguson was very pleasant to work with. His bid was our 4th and it came in at the lower end. He had also done work in the neighborhood and came highly recommended. We were not disappointed. He kept in close contact with us from start to finish. His crew was very polite, friendly and punctual. We have a ranch, with a large roof area, so it took them a little longer than expected, but the crew worked diligently, until the job was finished. Their workmanship was outstanding and they did an excellent job cleaning up. Our dog enjoyed their presence-especially when they took the time to throw his ball! We would not hesitate to recommend Ferguson Roofing to anyone!
