I've used CJW in the past to inspect and clean my chimney before I had a new wood stove installed. Chuck was very professional and straight forward about the condition of my chimney and what had to be done, Very punctual, got the job done and was gone before I knew it. A very nice person to have your chimney cleaned or other work that needs to be done. Now that my new wood stove is installed and working good I'll have CJW come back and clean the chimney and stove. Very satisfied with his work

CJW swept my chimney and inspected it both externally and internally using a camera. We looked at the camera footage together and they thoroughly explained all of their concerns. They also inspected my wood stove chimney and propane exhaust on the roof and in the basement. They explained further services they could provide to remedy my chimney/fireplace problems, referring me to a third-party for a wood stove installation when chimney repair appeared to be cost-prohibitive. They also shared with me cost-efficient alternatives for delaying repair and use of the fireplace. Two men from CJW came and completed the sweep and inspection in a timely manner. They took their time to explain their concerns, solutions and their respective costs. They were professional and punctual. I look forward to working with them again.

Steve was the tech that came out to do the cleaning and inspection. They laid down tarps to keep floor clean, Steve explained what he was doing and the problems with the chimney. He was very thorough and punctual.

The workmen arrived on time (a little early, actually), inspected the chimney for cracks, etc. and cleaned it thoroughly. They covered the room with tarp, vacuumed all the soot, etc., and did a fine job of cleaning everything. The men were courteous and knowledgeable about the job and offered advice on any faults the chimney had. They also advised me on other jobs they could do to prevent other damage. They did the inspection work with a camera, and showed me several cracks inside the chimney; but they said that those did not have to be fixed if I was not going to use the fireplace...which I am not. I'm very much pleased with this job and would recommend them highly.

Super! They called the day before and called one half hour before they arrived. They were polite and professional. Covered all the floors and cleaned up everything. Made suggestions regarding smoke detectors and others safety items as a matter of courtesy. Promised an estimate on another matter and it was received the next day. Would use and recommend again.

Very professional staff. During one of the two camera inspections on the fireplaces, we found our one chimney's did in fact suffer from a small chimney fire high up, the proof was on the screen, clear to the eyes. They did the sweeping, then gave me several options to fix the chimney that had the fire, and how to prevent this from happening again. The staff was very knowledgeable and without scaring me, let me know the severity of the issue. As we had an idea that there may have been an issue before them coming out to sweep, ( we heard cracking coming from the chimney), we were not shocked when they found one, so we feel very comfortable hiring them to do the fix on the chimney, and have scheduled with them to do the repairs in the near future. This company has been very honest and easy to deal with thus far, and the staff was so knowledgeable WITHOUT being a "know it all".

As suspected, the fireplace nor chimney weren't safe. Their recommendation was that it should never be used as a wood burner. The best possible solution was to convert it to a sealed gas log unit.. That is what we plan to do. They never attempted to sell us anything or try to get us to go deeper in to repairs or fixes. An explanation as to what we might entail getting the fireplace converted and approximate price range was given. Their company doesn't do that type of work, but he did suggest companies in the area that did. There was no pressure to convince us to a certain company. I would gladly recommend this company as they were professional, clean, prompt, and treated our cabin very respectfully.

The technician was very informative on how my chimney was performing and how to get it to perform better for this year. He also informed me that my cap was beginning to rust and how to help keep it from rusting more. He also checked on availability of fire extinguishers, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. The cleaning was quick and efficient, without a speck of dust anywhere. They were very careful about covering my wood floors and took care to see that none of my pets escaped as they were entering and exiting. Very professional, I will recommend them to family and friends.

They did a great job, courteous, were here on the dot, cleaned everything up, inspected everything and made recommendations. We've burned wood for 30 years, and this is the third, and best, sweep we've had. It really helps when the guys are smiling, and enjoy their work. Due to the extra work, they gave us a discount. They recommended some additional work, which I had a feeling needed to be done, and they'll most likely be back to do it after an estimate is made back at the shop! Good work, good people.

The crew was punctual, friendly, and professional. Left no mess. Protected all surfaces inside and lawn and trees outside. The chimney, caps, firebox, and flue were deteriorated and unsafe. We now have a safe system. The chimney on the outside looks great. highly recommend this company.

The experience was exceptional. They arrived a little late but had called ahead and let me know they would be running late. The cleaning was quick and though. I did not have a capon the Chimney so one was suggested (I don't know why I didn't have one already!). and installed efficiently. The whole process was less than an hour. Great work!

Went great, showed me areas of the chimney that were damaged and breakages/cracks in the flue. Will no longer use that chimney as is a health hazard. I will have him come back to install new woodstove set up when we are ready. I would recommend him. Was forthright and honest about situation.

They came on time and laid blankets on the carpet to protect it. They showed me the issued witht the chimney. They did a visual inspection of a second chimney and told me their concerns with it.
