I purchased a big deal for some landsacping work. The service provider was able to come and discuss the work needed complete. He was very professinal and nice. Unfoructunaley we were not able to use the Service Provider due to the amount of work needed complete with the possible additional fees, and the time frame to have it done would have been in July. If I have a chance to use this Service Provider I would give him a call, he was a very nice.

The job went very well, only one day delay in starting because of weather and job was completed the same day. Ben gave me ample instructions on how to care for my new plants both at first and throughout the year. A lot of what he told me I would not have thought of asking, so this tells me he really cares about your ability to properly take care of the new plants. Ben also gave me suggestions and instructions for some other details I could do later on my own if i wanted to.

Everything was fine. I am working with Ben now for more work and I am very happy with the service. I was very happy with the work they did as they were very thorough. They were very good about keeping in touch.

The job itself went ok but the weeds have all grown back. We had him price out some additional work but he overbid it and did not provide a labor breakdown for the job.

.What he did was fine and well done. Quotes on other work seemed high versus what I was wanting to spend. Feel he was honest, trustworthy but pricey.

We contacted Ben Navarro, the owner of Prestige Landscape, about landscaping our front yard. He stopped by to meet us, see the property, and talk about what we wanted. It didn't take him long to figure out that we needed low-maintenance plants. He came back a few days later with a hand-sketched plan that was perfect for us to get an idea of what he had in mind. He also had a itemized list of the plants he intended to use, and he worked with us on a few changes we wanted. He likes to use color, which suited us well. Although it wasn't originally part of our plan, he also suggested that we replace the short sidewalk from our driveway to our front porch with brick, and he had a separate estimate for this project. Both estimates were reasonable. He started and completed the work in the time schedule to which we agreed. The result is amazing. The garden has a variety of heights, colors and textures and is just beautiful. The walkway (that wasn't our idea!) adds a really special look. People we don't know stop by to compliment us on the way the front of the house looks now. We are extremely pleased. One final note is that Ben is very polite and professional, and it was a pleasure doing business with him.

My husband spoke with Mr Navaro and discussed what we wanted done. Mr Navarro estimated what the $300 on the certificate would cover which was not going to do all that needed to be done so my husband told him to do what was necessary around the front of our house. He then came down to join me in Florida where I was about to have surgery on my foot. Soon there-after we recieved a bill for $1,200 for the additional work on the front. This seemed high but we paid it. Eight or so weeks passed and I was recovering from surgery and not yet back in Michigan when our neighbor called and said the flower beds in the front were over-grown and weedy, so we called Mr Navarro and asked how much it would cost to clean them up. He said ( I believe) that it would be about $300. To the best of our knowledge we did not authorize any further work as we wanted to think about it. We called again soon after and to our surprise found that he was at the house cleaning up the beds. We asked him how much he thought it would be to do the entire job again and he said about $1,700 whereupon we asked him to stop and bill us for what had been done and that we would get additional bids for the remaining work. He said the charge for what he had done would be $700. We returned to Michigan a few weeks ago and the work he did was fine but we estimated it was costing about $100/hour for 2 men and that seemed a bit much. A week or two ago, Mr. Navarro showed up at the front door at 7:40 A.M., to catch us before work, to see if we wanted him to finish the job. My husband told him that he was too expensive and we would finish the job ourselves, which we did. Because of the high cost for services I cannot recommend this company.

Project went just as Benito had stated. Very happy with outcome.

The crew worked hard and everything was done as promised. The project plans were well thought out and we were given ample time to ask questions and share ideas.

Work was performed in a timely manner and met my quality expectations. The $100 charge for the extra man hour of labor was excessive. I won't use this contractor again because of this hourly labor rate.

Ben called quickly to schedule the service, definately wanted to do it asap. He was patient while I tried to coordinate his service with several other contractors on a large project. Had to reschedule, a few times. I did not receive my 1 hour consultation - I think he just wanted to be rid of my by then !... lol

At first, I thought I was duped....I hadn't heard from them in almost a month. My husband died recently and I was feeling so vulnerable; but it was just a mis understanding and miscommunication. They came out Monday, which was the day they had put me on their schedule. Work was excellent and they completed every thing I asked!!

The guy’s name is Ben, he came out to look around and see what I wanted done and he said he would call me in about a week but he never did. I emailed him, then I saw him the week before Memorial Day, and I haven’t heard from him since. He said it was very important to him what kind of rating he got from Angie’s List so it is kind of surprising but it might have been just a miss communication, so I don’t want to be negative about it yet. When he came out, he was fine and what stood out was that he didn’t get in touch with me and that I didn’t get anything out of my money. He was very nice, I told him what I needed and he said that was good, and then he said if I threw in another $200, I could have some more things done and I said I only wanted some basic things done. I thought it was a good deal. He was there on time when he was there.

I have a large piece of, propeerty( 1/2 acre) which was cleaned up of dead growth and hundreds of seedlings. The three men worked very hard doing the physical labor necessary for this job. I was very pleased with the result and contracted with them for additional time to redo my flower beds and I am very happy with how neat and clean my flower beda now look. I do plan to use them again to help with mulching and additional work i need done..

We can honestly say we could not be happier with Ben Navarro and his team's services, work ethic and overall professionalism. To be honest, when he said it could all be done in 2 1/2 days max, I thought "yeah, right" given the amount of work that needed to be done. It was done in less time! These men work hard! To say we got more bang for our buck is an understatement. The landscaping in front of out house looks amazing! Ben's design for the new front walk and steps is beautiful, inviting and unique in this area. I can't tell you how many people have stopped by to comment on how nice they look. Ben also really heard and understood what I needed when I said I wanted a lot of color with little maintenance and that is exactly what we have...perfect. He also gave me ideas for additional plantings for the fall to carry color into the fall. We went from having one of the the worst housewarming on the block to one of the best in terms of curb appeal and landscaping for a very reasonable price. THANKS BEN!!!

I Contacted Ben and we met to go over what I wanted. Very polite and professional. He wrote up a detailed proposal and contacted me when he could start. He Worked Friday, Saturday and finished Wednesday. Very good job, well pleased.

The business owner promptly came out to review the job. He is a very professional, knowledgeable of his profession, and is very personable. His staff work well as a unit, and didn't sluff-off, like so many other workers do when the boss isn't around. The cleanup after removing all of this stuff was excellent; my lawn was cleaned up and my driveway swept throughly. I didn't expect such a through cleaqnup, as I've contracted with 2 other landscapers in the past, their cleanup was cursory at best. I was totally satisfied with the finished project, and contracted additional work with this company. I rate Prestigue Landscaping, 5 - gold stars!

We started our landscaping project desiring a patio in our back yard. We liked a product sold at Young Brothers and Daley in Lansing, but didn't know who to call for estimates. Chuck at Young Brothers gave us the business cards of 3 companies, including Prestige Landscaping. I got bids from all three. John Miller and Ben Navarro own Prestige Landscaping. John is a landscape architect. He came over to my house to look at the job and provide a bid. Although John's price estimate was in the middle, I liked his ideas and thought I would enjoy working with him. The job started out as creating a patio using MegaArbel pavers from Young Brothers and Daley. John and Ben and their crew worked like beavers in 90* + heat. It took them 2 or 3 days to prep the area, lay conduit for future landscape lights, and place the pavers. John and I worked together to select plants that would be deer resistant and thrive in our shady back yard. John and Ben were a great team deciding where to place the plant material and adapting the original plan where necessary. I've honestly never seen people work so diligently and so hard, especially considering the heat. They were courteous, respectful, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The end result was far beyond our expectations. We liked it so much that we asked them to upgrade the rest of the landscaping around our house. That explains the price tag. They essentially landscaped our entire yard, and gave us a beautiful living space in the back. We have a total landscaping upgrade, and extra room to entertain and enjoy in our back yard. I wish I could post before and after photos. It looks like a park. My overall experience mirrors that of the previous reviewer. They did such a superb job that my neighbors want to hire them.
