Prestige Landscape & Design LLC

We have hired Prestige for three different projects so far. In each case the work was performed in a reasonable period of time and the results have exceed my ideas of what can be accomplished. Ben has taken care to solve other problems, like making sure the drainage is good, solving wet basement problems. I will be hiring them again next year for another project and can definitely recommend Ben and his team.

We hired Ben to manage the project and do the landscaping for our new house with no lawn, deck, patio, or irrigation. Ben hired good contractors for the deck, patio, and irrigation and managed the whole thing including the timing, hiring, and overall coordination for the whole project. The landscape design Ben and his team put together for our yard was beautiful and unique, and captured everything we imagined for our yard, and more. Ben was working on our project when we had a bad wind storm that took out a tree in our yard. Ben helped clean up after the storm, including helping clean off the roof of our neighbor's shed that the tree came to rest on. Since the project was completed Ben has continued to reach out with advice for lawn care and responds to questions we have. During the entire process we felt comfortable trusting Ben to get the job done and get it done right. We would absolutely hire Ben for a similar project again.

Mr.Navarro brought in a new idea that really saved the day. The work is well done, sturdy, and attractive. We are very grateful he is creative, a problem solver. Christine

A very professional work of art! We had our existing concrete patio remodeled by adding stone pavers, a seating wall, and landscape. Ben was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and talented in his design and work. He took time and skill to provide landscape that would meet the needs of the area we were working with (sunlight, shading, deer resistance, butterfly attracting, kid/pet-friendly etc.). The project was completed in a timely manner and communication was easy and pleasant. The end product turned out better than imagined as they created a beautiful outdoor space for our family to enjoy. We get so many compliments on the workmanship and design! Ben was fantastic to work with and kindly worked within our budget to exceed our expectations for our outdoor space. We will definitely be working with Prestige Landscape and Design for future projects.

Ben and company did a great job in a very short period of time. New retaining walls south and west, with a beautiful privacy fence. The detail of the support system will ensure our little hill will not roll down hill for many decades to come! Thanks, Ben!

Excellent. Work was performed quickly and professionally. Our back yard was inaccessible, uneven and neglected. Now it’s a little gem with beautiful plantings, better access and great patio. We couldn’t be happier.

Ben, from Prestige Landscape and Design, is professional and kind. He and his crew are very hard workers who consistently show up and complete large amounts of work in a single day. He was knowledgeable on plants and adaptable with his plans and created a beautiful yard for our new build home in Haslett.

Great experience - Ben was great to work with!

Prestige is essentially a one man (Ben Navarro) operation although a second person was there as needed. That is why it to took two weeks of very hard work. We were able to make changes during the work and so it ended up pretty much as we hoped it would. Ben was extremely reliable person and is very easy to deal with. We are very happy with this project.

Ben is very kind, knowledgeable, and fair. He was transparent from the beginning of the project to the end, he kept receipts of everything, and updated me with the progress daily. He truly cares for his customers and I would definitely hire him again for future projects.

We had our old deck torn down and had a cedar deck built in its place last fall to winter. Ben Navarro definitely takes pride in his work. He was punctual and came when he said he would. Despite challenges with the weather, the job was completed within a reasonable amount of time. We are very pleased with the attractiveness and quality of our deck. Ben even built the latticework himself. It was a pleasant surprise to us. We continue to receive compliments on the deck. After the job was finished, he came back for small adjustments.

Ben and his team at Prestige Landscape Design are wonderful to work with. They are fast, professional, and extremely knowledgable about all aspects of landscape design and installation. They got the job done quickly and AHEAD of schedule! Yes, I just said ahead of schedule. This is the second time I've used Prestige, and it won't be my last!

The work was done in 2 consecutive days. The work appeares to have been done competently. A chain link fence that was in the way was removed and replaced at the end of the job. The jobsite was cleaned up and reseeded and covered with straw mulch.

Everything went well as expected. The wall looks great, the new area of shrubs is perfect and the patio is awesome again. Everything was done on time.

The project was completed quickly, was flexible with requests for changes, high quality plants, looks great.

Everything looks great so far after four weeks. I was expecting it to take much longer to go from zero grass to anything resembling an actual lawn. The work was great and Ben provided helpful instructions to water and maintain the area after the work was complete.

Ben is always quick to respond and, easily hit our deadlines. We look forward to getting a spot on his schedule for the next group of projects already designed.

We had work done on two large beds in our backyard. This included design, reshaping and preparing the beds for new planting, as well as installation of a tree and several other plants, and mulch. Ben was very easy to work with and took a lot of time to hear about our needs and design a plan that could address what we wanted. He was really good about the time table, responding to email questions, and carrying out the work as scheduled. He also checked on the work a few weeks after it had been done and advised us that we might be over-watering the plants. Although the price was a little higher than I wanted, I hired Ben and would hire him again because he said that he would guarantee the plants for a year. One of the flowers died and another one is not doing very well, but we are working with Ben on replacement options.

We truly couldn’t be happier with the end results. Ben and his crew showed up when he said they would..they were very hard working, energentic and very professional. Ben went out of his way to purchase plants and shrubs of the highest quality, and specifically knew the colors we would want to use. The job took 2 weeks to complete and it looks incredible!! We are looking forward to hiring Ben next year to transform our backyard! Their work ethic is outstanding and we would highly recommend Prestige for any landscaping project.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Prestige Landscape & Design. Ben was awesome to work with, he responds quickly and is very fair and honest. His workmanship is unmatched, you can tell he takes the time and care to do the job right without cutting any corners. I highly recommend Prestige Landscape & Design and will absolutely be using them again in the near future.

We hired Ben in November 2016 for a complete landscape overhaul at our home. He put a lot of time and effort into drawing up a detailed plan, and explained pertinent features of each plant he recommended. He took our preferences into account in regards to low maintenance, some color and deer resistant when coming up with the plan. We chose Ben as he seemed to be the most detail-oriented and responsive landscaper compared to other bids we obtained. Overall the project went well. He promptly did fall cleanup and completed the work by mid December 2016. We did have to remind him that some plants (pachysandras) were missing, which he planted in the spring. Come spring, most of the plants survived. A few hydrangeas didn’t make it and Ben promptly replaced them. Some of the tulips and hostas didn’t make it because of some animal activity, and some guidance/forewarning on this would have been helpful. A large section of rose bushes and hydrangeas, and some walker’s low nepota also didn’t make it, but Ben didn’t replace those until the end of the summer and after a few requests. He said the plants didn’t seem watered sufficiently but we had watered regularly and never noticed any growth after the winter. Part of our plan also included a new cedar arbor which turned out beautiful; unfortunately Ben did not inform us until the spring that it did not come stained and staining would be an extra charge; thus it lost some color over the winter. The cedar arbor also fell over during a windstorm, and Ben did promptly put it back up for us. He later stained and reinforced it in concrete for an additional charge. Although we didn't sign up for his maintenance plan, Ben still came by at various times over the past year to check on things and even did some weeding and watering at no charge. He planted a few extra flowering plants in the spring/summer, and provided instructions on how to properly water the plants. Some things may have been lost in communication but overall we are extremely satisfied with the outcome and have fully enjoyed our new landscaping.
