They did a great job. After meeting with me to determine the work to be done, the owner returned at a later date with a helper. They pruned trees, removed boxwood shrubs, cut out dead branches and gave me good advice on some landscape issues. They finished everything on my list, and did a few things extra. Pleasant, professional and hardworking.

He is professional and punctual. I appreciate his working with me and breaking up the design to fit my budget. I look forward to working with him.

On time and worked quickly and efficiently. It was a long drive to my place, and no restaurants close, but no complaints. Cheerful and professional.

Removed unnecessary shrubs, grasses, and small trees. --- Very through and professional. Installed garden edging. --- Very professional. Plant a cherry tree and four hydrangeas. --- The plants they brought were bit over-priced, but at least they gave one-year guarantee for those. They should have applied some acidifiers for the hydrangeas (which I did by myself after they left) . Other than that they were O.K. Seeded lawn grass and strawed the area. --- They were O.K. I could have done that by myself, anyway. Buried a downspout drain in the ground. --- Good. Potential sprinkler damage --- After all the jobs were done, my sprinkler company personnel came to my home and checked my system, and found a damage in the area where the hydrangeas were planted. I contacted Ben and he said he had not been aware of that, but at least he said he would pay for it if that was caused by themselves. Since I was not sure if it was caused by them, I didn't ask them to pay for it after all. They are very good at cleaning up the gardens. Very through and professional. On the other hand, I was not convinced about their capability of designing and setting up a new garden. However, they showed me some photos of their previous works/references, which looked good. I may still use them in the future if they give me a good deal and promise a good job.

I showed him my site and told him what I was interested in. What he came up with, was beautiful, but it was over my budget. I needed his help with getting my site ready for planting, which he has been able to do some of that by keeping it to a minimum.

Ben and his assistant were great. This was a tough job and they were very thorough. This was the second package that I purchased.

Ben called within 2 days of purchasing the coupon and then visited our home the following afternoon. We walked through our property with Ben and discussed what we would like to have done. He let us know that his team would need more time to complete and that we could purchase another coupon to get everything done. Ben and his team came at 8:30am as promised and worked straight through. All of the garden waste was cleaned up and bagged (per our request). The mulch is several inches deep in every bed and looks wonderful. We couldn't be happier with the way our yard looks. Ben is now working on a design proposal for our deck.

We left Prestige a message for an estimate on Friday, 4/17/15 and got a call back from Ben, the owner, the following day. He came out within 15 minutes and we discussed the work we wanted done (to bury the downspout that runs down the side of our garage and install a system to carry the water away from the driveway area). He seemed very nice and suggested a solution (connect the downspout to a tube that would run underground and vent the water via a pop-up several feet from the driveway). He stated we would hear from him on Monday with a proposal. We expected him to give us a written proposal with details about what materials he would use, the work to be done, and the price, and he would then schedule the work if we agreed. Instead he just showed up and began unloading his truck to start work. His proposal simply stated "Bury 1 downspout" and the price. Since we liked him and the price was right, we decided to forego waiting for the remaining people we expected estimates from (we had previously received one estimate and where waiting for one from another company) and just have him go ahead with the work. However, when he started work we did not know what kind of tubing he was using (PVC, corrugated solid, or corrugated perforated), which was bothersome because it was important to us that there be no drainage near the driveway. We had to ask, and this is something he should have reviewed with us first, to be sure we were satisfied with the materials he was using. When we inspected the work after he finished (it did not take them long), he had curved the drain tubing so it lay right next to our driveway instead of running straight out from the downspout. This meant he had to move the small pipe in the ground that holds the cane bolt for our double gate from its original position, resulting in the double gate no longer closing in a straight line, but instead made an unattractive angle when closed. We told him all he had needed to do was bury the drain tubing so it ran straight out from the downspout instead of bending it toward the driveway, and the pipe that holds the cane bolt could still be placed in its original position and all would be good. We told him he needed to rebury the drain tubing so it didn't impact the gate. When my husband and I stood there before he began to dig up and rebury the tubing, so that we could make sure we were all on the same page on this, Ben looked at me and said, "What are you going to do, stand there and videotape me?" And then he repeated it. We were so shocked we didn't even know what to say. We have had numerous workmen out to the house to do work, from huge projects that took months to complete to small jobs that took only a few minutes, plus many repairmen who worked on appliances in our home. I have never had anyone object to us watching them do work we were paying them to do. If Ben meant this as a joke, it didn't come off that way to either me or my husband. We also didn't like the assumption that he would show up and do the work without giving us a chance to review written specifics. These two reasons are why we gave Prestige an F for Professionalism. Prestige will not be doing additional work on our home.

It went very well. Showed up on time and was very professional. We were extremely pleased and would recommend them to anyone with confidence that the quality would be the same.

If you have no creative bone in your body, but want your yard to look fabulous - Ben is the guy for you!! He has many before and after pictures that show his awesome work. I'm excited to see what I can afford and what Ben can do for my blah yard. I will be getting quotes soon and hopefully will have a nice yard this year.

They were wonderful. Took the time to walk around with us and discuss the project beforehand, arrived when they said they would, and worked like beavers until they finished. The house looks renewed. He and his men did an excellent job. I would highly recommend

Contacted Ben after researching and reading reviews on Angie's List. I needed the work done on a second home which was out of town for me. On short notice Ben met me at the house to go over preliminary plans. As he was very busy he indicated that he was about a month out which was fine because I had some concrete work I wished to complete first. As the concrete work continued to be pushed back in the schedule I contacted Ben and asked about where he was at with the plan. He met me at the house, again short notice. He also worked around my extremely limited schedule. We agreed on the plan he drew up, made a couple of changes and the work was completed in short order. As I was unable to be there for any of the work my daughter kept me updated as did Ben. Ben removed a huge number of weeds, invasive perennials, turned and amended the soil, installed edging and planted shrubs, trees and perennials. He also mulched. The result was wonderful. His thoughtful eye turned an eyesore into a home with wonderful curb appeal. The neighbor made sure to walk over and tell me how nice it looked and that Ben and his crew "were very hard workers". Customer service is top notch and Ben is quite knowledgeable. I am looking forward to designing and completing the back yard and will be calling Prestige when I am ready.

Ben's design and ideas are truly beautiful! My formerly drab yard is now magnificent. He has knowledge of his materials and design that are outstanding, creating beauty from simple materials. My friends call it my "zen" garden. The transformation is amazing! Ben came in with a crew of 5 men who very quickly transformed my yard. They kept to the original schedule and were done within the predicted 2 weeks (a rarity in the building industry). Ben, himself was not only the designer, but was on the job each day, working intensely and keeping things moving. His expertise in knowing how to produce high quality design and a stable base for all was great. The design is not only beautiful, but very functional. I love doing my writing and planning while sitting in my new yard. It provides an inspiring setting. His use of beautiful large stones adds a frame to the patio; each stone is unique and some are filled with color and pattern - so wonderful. The plantings lend perfection to the entire design. I now have a place to entertain that I can be proud of!

Family built original 2 tiered (100 ft ea) retaining wall placed on pea gravel base 5 yrs ago. Lower tier had become unstable, was leaning outward by about 10 degrees and now showing areas with spaces developing between blocks at various areas. Problem, in addition to use of pea gravel base sliding, probably produced by inadequate drainage and too large area produced too much hydrostatic pressure on wall face. Ben and Rick took down over 600 blocks, pruned as needed, and carefully removed 5 very large perennial shrubs and about 20 other perennials (hostas, coneflowers, rudbekia, etc) to an adjacent wooded area. They moved an 8 foot tall viburnum to a more optimal site, not to mention a Joe Pye weed and a huge clump of ornamental grass which have huge root systems. Everything was dug with large root balls and divided as needed. He constructed a new wider base on crushed limestone, very cleverly joined new 100 ft drainage tile at inside foot of wall into existing drain pipe from house gutters which extends far into yard, installed geo-grid fabric under topsoil, as well as landscape fabric between dirt and peastone. He repaired and re seeded where the bobcat had damaged lawn. He transported the old pea gravel from the original construction and spread it to supplement a rough access "path" creating a very solid entry for future truck delivery (yes, peastone is good for something!) Plants were replaced at my direction and as of this date 2 weeks later all seem to be thriving. The drainage tile, limestone base, geo-grid and reduced planting area are new to this project and I am confident Ben got it right this time. I would suggest a "Ben consult" to anyone before starting any "family built" project. Just doing your own research sometimes is inadequate and I feel very lucky that I was able to hire Ben to correct our mistakes. Ben and his brother, Rick, are a fantastic team, constantly in motion. Although I paid by the job, I would be pleased to hire Prestige Landscape by the hour, knowing I would get full value. I could not be happier with the result.

First of all, Ben was a very personable and likable man. We had a few other estimates but we felt Ben was more honest and professional than the other companies. The work was more difficult than expected as the 6 large old pine trees had roots growing in a large area just beneath the surface. It took Ben and his worker more than a day longer than expected but he asked for only $200.00 more than his estimate. Since it was late in the season, Ben wasn't sure if the grass would have enough time to grow. He told us he would come back in the spring to plant more grass if needed. The grass grew in fine and he didn't have to come back. We were so pleased with his work that we will hire him again this season for more landscaping.

Excellent - Ben is a good person and a fine landscaper. They showed up on time and got the job done with no surprises...

Ben came out to meet with me and discuss both my wishes for the additional landscaping (he did the original work last summer) as well as my budget. He then came back a week later with a detailed plan, which we modified slightly. A month later, he was ready to start (this was May, a busy time for him). The work was completed in 2 days with perfect cleanup of driveway. The plants are all healthy and vibrant, the yard looks well kempt and most importantly, the arrangement and feel of the yard are exactly what I wanted -a natural look without too much fuss, but with spots of color and texture that complement our in-the-woods location.

It was fine. They came when we're out of town and we had no complaints.

I found Ben Navarro and his crew very pleasant to deal with, and in particular, I found Ben very knowledgeable about landscape design. I had briefly considered landscaping my front yard myself, but concluded (correctly) that since I know nothing about landscaping, it would have been a disaster. During a consultation phase, Ben was very good about explaining what kind of shrubbery would work best for my yard, and giving me a candid assessment of what it would cost. I gulped and gave him the go-ahead. Ben and his crew came out in the time frame he established. The job took two days -- an extra day, I think, because it rained the first. Afterwards, Ben was good about giving me detailed instructions on how to water the plants. I must say I am pleased with the result. My front yard now looks lovely and once the bushes grow in coming years, I trust it will look downright beautiful. I would definitely hire Prestige for future work, and recommend its services.

We've been very pleased so far with both the design and landscape work Ben and his crew have completed in our major yard update. Ben is very professional and invests significant time and effort into the planning and installation of his designs. He's a great guy to work with who listens to his clients and then adds his professional touch that help turn some pretty basic ideas to great looking landscapes. Ben is also a very nice person who is easy to work with and an owner who takes pride in his work and and cares about doing the job right. Ben brings a lot of professional expertise, personal interest, and great landscape vision into his projects which, as a homeowner, I welcome and appreciate. However, clients who are looking for a cookie-cutter type of landscape design company or a company that can't handle design revisions as the project develops, may want to look somewhere else. We're very satisfied with Prestige.

Ben was very professional and precise and explained everything in detail. He did most of the work himself along with one assistant. His patio-creating skills are superb. The patio is terrific (you get what you pay for). It's big and beautiful and the steps leading in to the house are awesome. We also got two curved walls for sitting on each side of the patio. Ben created a border of evergreens along the back and sides of the yard to provide needed privacy, along with lots of other plantings around the patio and elsewhere. He also put in a path of walking stones on one side of the backyard. There were some glitches, and to date these have been taken care of at no charge: sprinkler line was damaged and repaired two arbor vitae shrubs died over the super-cold winter and were replaced three transplanted shrubs died and were replaced (this was a freebie extra!) the lawn is not established yet, but Ben continues to work on that. the backyard is partially wooded, so the task is more challenging. I am now having Ben seal the patio. one complaint: I should have insisted on landscape fabric under the mulch. it makes the weeds easier to pull out.

Ben responded very promptly to my request for an estimate. He came to my home to see the project, then returned the next day with a written proposal. After the weather improved, he removed most of the topsoil that was on the beds and refilled with good soil mixed with peat. He planted seven shrubs and mulched along the front and one side of the house. He came back a week later to plant five more, and he said he will return again after it is warm enough to plant the flowers. He and his helpers worked very hard, and it looks beautiful! He made sure that I knew the care instructions for each type of shrub. He is very knowledgeable about which type of plants would work best in my location and very willingly shared information. He also suggested, and I agreed, that he could bury three downspouts. One of them required that some bricks from the walkway be removed. He replaced them very carefully. I was very pleased with Ben' work ethic and with the final effect. I won't hesitate to hire him in the future.
