Description of Work: They completely replaced the roof deck and installed a roof vent and Owen Corning shingles. The crew spent one full day on the installation and all roof trash was gone the next day. Very professional! Ed Moore knows his business and was extremely helpful. We like working with a family business like the Moores!

Description of Work: Replacement of conventional and low pitch roofing. Most everything went well, with the exception of workers dropping roofing bundles on the roof dislodged a glass ceiling lamp shade in a bedroom and a high intensity light bulb (with turret style insertion, which I would think could not be loosened by normal vibrations). The lamp shade shattered, and the high intensity bulb had to be replaced. I would give a grade of A- for cleanup on this job, as I am still finding roofing nails (over 20) around the home. All in all, I am pleased with the work, and am awaiting a full test of the new roofing by Mother Nature.

Description of Work: After this past Winter our roof experienced some major damages due to ice dams and ax chopping marks due to ice dams. Tony LaSorsa from Moore and Sons came out and well the rest is history. Ended up with our insurance company paying for a new roof due to this damage. The group of men working on our roof were none like I have seen. They started at 7:30 in the morning and ended at 8:30 at night. They were Awesome!! The only break noticed was for lunch. They were very neat,cleaned up all the mess and put back things that needed to be moved out of the way. I cannot say enough...you will not be disappointed when hiring the crew from Moore & Sons Roofing. Tony was very patient and explained everything that was going to be done. Thank you Tony and the crew...you did an AWESOME job!!! We walked away from this job paying our deductible. It was all you Tony! Thanks again!

Description of Work: We had a new roof put on. Everything went as planned/anticipated. Very responsive, excellent to work with, very customer focused. Tony was our coordinator. Very pleased. Would not hesitate to recommend. We are planning on having them replace some windows later this year.

 + -1 moreJed offered to do the work but showed me how to fix the problem myself with little to no cost. He did not charge for the estimate or the inspection.This kind of professionalism and integrity is amazing these days. I highly recommend based on this experience.
Description of Work: We had a minor leak in the roofline of our garage. Jed Moore came out and inspected the leak. He told me how to fix the leak myself rather than charge $300 for a fix that would take them ten minutes.

Representative prepared a written proposal detailing work and materials necessary for the new roof. Representative was very professional and knowledgeable and submitted a reasonable cost estimate without a charge.
Description of Work: I did not hire Moore and Sons for this roofing project, however their onsite inspection of roof was thorough and the estimate/cost was reasonable.

 + -1 moreI had 3 people come out to give me an estimate about a leak in the roof. 2 went into the attic and said they could not find the leak. Moore went up on the roof, found a cracked seal around a pipe, repaired it on the spot, even though he was there to just give me an estimate.
Description of Work: Found a leak and repaired it. Didn't pressure me to get a new roof.
