Installed both in about 5 hours, very professional and knowledgeable

We've used them for over 25 years. We get a discount because we are senior citizens. I always use them. They are family owned. They are local. They are very good.

Good. Only thing I don't like is the look of the PVC exhaust pipes sticking out of the house by my side entrance.

It went perfectly. Kelly and Andrew did a brilliant job removing the old system and diligently setting up the new system, I have some technical skills , but nothing to match these guys. The sales portion of this experience was very enjoyable and no pressure. Ask for Tom in sales. If one were looking for HVAC installation or repair, look to Jacobson`s . Kelly and Andrew are the A-Team. I will continue my HVAC needs with Jacobson`s

The service was fantastic from beginning to end. I called at noon and the woman who answered the phone was kind, courteous and scheduled a technician to come out by 5:00 the same day. The technician arrived late in the day and was courteous and professional. He replaced the capacitor on our 17 year old unit. The part and labor cost were very reasonable. I would definitely call Jacobson's again for service.

Painless, fast, professional, affordable

I was happy with Jacobson's even though the news was not good. The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He said my compressor was shot, but it is a 20 year old unit so I was suspecting as much. He arranged for someone to come out and give me a quote on a new one. It's hard to find a shop that you can trust, so I went with a top rated one on Angie's List and was very satisfied. Lastly, even though I had tried to fix it myself (and not done a very good job of it,) he didn't make me feel too stupid about it. I take solace in knowing that with the compressor already shot, there wasn't much I could have done to screw it up more : )

As usual, they were extremely punctual, professional, walked me through everything they were doing in detail, and I feel confident my AC will hum for a long time to come. Always have, and always will recommend them!

My AC went out just before the Holiday weekend and called around and no one could fit me in due to the busy schedule. Called Jacobson and they fit me in. They came out Friday night and fixed the problem. The tech was a amazing and very informative on what he was doing. I will be using Jacobson for all my heating and AC issues moving forward.

I hired Jacobson to replace an old central air unit. The gentleman that came out to provide the initial quote was very nice and thorough with what I needed. No high pressure sales or tactics. I was requesting the old A/C unit be removed and the new one be relocated to the other side of my home. They provided a great price (yes it's expensive, but worth it) and setup an appointment. The appointment was made literally the next business day. When the crew arrived, the lead installer went over everything they needed to do. Since I was relocating the unit, an electrician was needed to rewire the new unit on the other side of the house. The lead installer explained how they would run the new lines across the basement to keep everything neat and tucked up in the ceiling. They did a great job. The electrician company that was supposed to come out the same day was not able to make it. This was not the fault of Jacobson. I would have preferred the electric company to send someone else out versus calling me after the time they were supposed to arrive to tell me they couldn't make it. That meant the installation crew would not be able to test the new unit and get it up and running. This resulted in two more appointments - the electrician needed to come back to wire, then a follow-up appointment to have Jacobson come back to check the unit and start it up. After the electrician was done with his work, a few days later Jacobson came back out. This was someone new who wasn't aware of what work was done - only that he was there to charge the unit. The day he arrived it was cold and rainy but he tried to test it by placing a tent over it. When he left, he said it should be fine for the summer but to call if it didn't seem to cool down fairly quickly. A few days after that, I noticed capped wires inside the basement where the old unit was removed. I wasn't sure if the wires were hot so I called Jacobson again to see if they had record of what the electrician did. They did not. They said they would send someone out to check the wiring and start the system. I stated someone had already been there to do that. They said they had a note that due to the weather, someone would need to come back out and recheck. So a fourth appointment was set. Luckily, the day they came to check the wires and start the system, the weather was nice and warm. They did wind up adding coolant to the new system and tested the wiring to verify it was indeed disconnected from the fuse panel. So I'm now all set with the new unit. Finally, a couple weeks after everything was completed, I called the office to inquire on the rebate form I filled out and sent back to them so they could sign it and send in to Consumers Energy for my rebate. After being placed on hold, I was informed they never received my form from Consumers to send. I knew I mailed it, but who knows what happened...I was little irritated that as much time passed, they didn't follow up with me to verify the paperwork. Overall I would recommend Jacobson to my friends and family. They were fine to work with but seemed a little unorganized at times.

Service was prompt on a cold Michigan day without a furnace. Service Rep was polite, informative and low-key. Told us our 20 year old furnace had probably served its time, but mostly informative and didn't push for immediate replacement. Did provide "ball-park" replacement price info when specifically asked. We will absolutely use this company again.

Timely appointment at a good time for me. Have always received professional service. On time, part needed on truck, efficient service.

My thermostat stopped working so I called to have it repaired/replaced. They were able to get me on the schedule that week, on a day that fit my schedule. The employee came out, checked out the furnace to make sure that there wasn't a more serious underlying problem, and replaced my thermostat. The time window they gave me for arriving was a little big--1 to 5. But, by the same token, they arrived within said window as promised. So, overall, no complaints. The work was done well, and I'd probably use them again.

They were able to service my furnace the same day I contacted them. Andrew was on time and professional. I learned a lot about my furnace as he didn't mind walking me through what he was doing. Andrew didn't start on the clock until he was in my basement, though he had to wait for me to get home. He was incredibly knowledgable and I have full confidence that he did quality work. If something else goes wrong, or I need a new furnace in the future I know who I am calling!

We hired Jacobson?s Heating & Cooling to replace our 29 year old forced air furnace and a 15 year old central A/C unit. They were great to work with and did a wonderful job. Technicians Matt, Mark and Dan were professional, pleasant and hardworking. They cleaned the work area well after the job was finished. Jeff Vanderson provided our quote and was excellent at explaining our options. We thought they were reasonably priced and we didn?t feel pressured to go with them (which we truly appreciated). We're now enjoying our new central air unit. Hopefully, it will be a while before we have to use the furnace!

We used a heating and cooling company I would recommend which is Jacobson Heating & Cooling. They have electronic billing which I think is very useful. It's great now that the floor is dry. They had an interesting view on filters.

The technician was very knowledgeable about the product and installation and took the time to show us how to use the equipment after installation. Their pricing was great, too!! Jacobson Heating did a great job installing our new furnace. They arrived when they said they would, and the whole crew was professional, hard working and efficient. In fact, another crew got their job done early and came over to help out the crew working at our house, so our project was completed quicker. The furnace works as promised and does a better job than our old one. I recommend Jacobson very highly.

He did a very good job. Overall, the job was very good. They gave me a price. They did what they said they were going to do. They did it when they said they would do it. The price was what I paid, and it works.

Furnace quit on Sunday. Service tech showed us how to get it running enough to keep the house warm. Installed new system on Monday. Service was prompt, installation neatly done and well explained. Installers took great care in tarping the floors and cleaned up well when finished. I had used them in the fall to plumb a whole house back up generator. The expert workmanship, fair pricing and prompt service I received earned them the opportunity to install the furnace.

It went fine. Jacobsen had installed the original AC and furnace in the past. Every contact I've had with them has been entirely satisfactory--they have solid people working for them, and I always feel like they don't leave without making sure the units are in good working order. They aren't the least expensive, but not the most expensive either. I don't hesitate to recommend them.
