Never did the work

Went very well.

They did a great job. They showed up on time everyday, did not smoke, cleaned up everyday, friendly to kids and dog. Overall, best contractors we've ever had work on/in our home. We will use them exclusively for future jobs and can't recommend them more strongly. Excellent job in quality, timeliness, and cost.

My wife and I were talking about them about 5 days into their work. I said I can't find one thing I would want that's different in the way they did their work and she agreed. They were pleasant in demeanor, always there fresh in the morning and worked later than I would. Jeff has a good way of explaining things and is always attentive to good communication. Thoroughly excellent job from top to bottom. I'm 60 and have had a lot of painters in my life and these guys are at the top.

Jeff painted a huge 3000 sq ft room with 16' ceilings - had it done in a couple of days so we could move in! Also repaired some badly damaged walls and put up new walls in 2 rooms (again, with 16' ceilings). A year later, we hired him again to repair our leaky roof - he took the time to correct some structural defects - and the building hasn't leaked since! We appreciate his careful work and doing what's necessary to make sure the problem won't reappear later.

I had seen the wonderful attention to detail that Jeff has in his interior painting and wanted a really good paint job on some reclaimed furniture that our family would be giving heavy use. Jeff was easy to contact and communicate with. Jeff took the furniture all at the same time and returned it all together. He communicated his progress along the way and stayed within his estimate even when the job took more time and effort than he had anticipated. I expect these pieces will continue to wear exceptionally well with the great care he has put into the paint job.

Met with Jeff regarding various painting projects we need done around the house. We were very impressed with his professionalism! Additionally, he offered us options for the work we need done and had no problem sharing his insights based on his own experience. We are definitely going to hire Jacobsen Painting and look forward to working with them!

Jeff does a rock-star job. Everything he did looks amazing. We weren't happy with the first paint color we picked for the den [and yes, we didn't realize that until the entire room was painted] and Jeff very patiently repainted it again until we got it right. The walls, ceiling, trim, and barn beans were all different paint colors.The old brick fireplace took four coats, which he sprayed. It looks smooth and perfect. Our 1920's house takes a beating and everything he painted was left looking smooth and sparkling and lovely. Jeff is professional and takes pride in his work. He showed up when he said he would and really kept in touch with us throughout the whole process. I work at home and he was very easy to have around and nice to our kids.

It went very well. There were two different sessions and I was there for part of it for my house that I am selling.

At first I though I had made a huge mistake, as I called Jeff's number and did not receive a reply for almost a week...however he did return my call and had been out of town celebrating a very important milestone in his life, so that was very understandable. Jeff promptly came over the next night, was very professional, and went through why what I wanted to do would cost me more than I was willing to spend, gave me some suggetions on what to do, and in the end came up with a quote that was at what I wanted to spend. He spent 2 full days( didn't finish up until 7:15pm the 2nd day!) completing the job, so I feel I really got my moneys worth from a labor standpoint . The end result looks fabulous! I am so happy with the results. I will use Jeff in the future for other painitng prodjects I have.

Jeff was great! He was able to arrange some top-notch people to come in and fix our skylights that had been leaking and another company to repair the sunrom ceiling. He then came in and di a lot of interior painting,

Jeff does meticulous work. We gave him an open-ended directive: fix whatever needs fixing, since we only wanted to do this kind of repair ONCE. We were hoping it was just the skylights that had been leaking, but once the shingles were removed, we saw the damage was much more extensive. Not only did Jeff replace the damaged roof deck and shingles - he took the time to correct the initial building flaw that had led to the leaking in the first place. The finished work blends in perfectly! He also built a railroad-tie retaining wall that should withstand a nuclear attack :-) We are very pleased with his work and recommend him highly!

Jeff, the painter, did high quality work, provided good advice and suggestions when asked and did extra work beyond what our insurance claim covered for a reasoanble price. We wished we could have moved back home sooner, but we did ask him to do additional work.

Jeff had excellent communication and was able to come by and give a quote right away. He was very pleasant and had great suggestions for the rooms we wanted painted. Jeff also was right on time. He had the qualities that made us feel comfortable letting him work in our home. Due to our tight deadline and limited finances we ended up going with another company. We hope to work with Jeff in the future.

Jacobsen Painting has been extremely easy to work with. I really felt like he listened to my ideas and helped me to make them functional. The quality of his work is well worth the cost!

Jeff was willing to come to my home within a day or two of my call to give me an estimate. He was very helpful with suggestions of what type of paint would work best for this high-traffic area and how to handle some rough spots created by poor workmanship in the past without adding on a lot of extra cost (this is an area where the original house meets a later added on section and the trim was not properly finished). He estimated the work to take two days, arrived on time on the day he said he would, finished up and cleaned up before he left. Since I was out of town on the day that he finished the job, he followed up with an e-mail to me explaining where he had left the extra paint and how he had labeled it and thanked me for my business. I would definitely use him again for future painting projects.
