Even though Jeff wasn't able to get us in on our short notice he was very nice and helpful and was able to recommend another painter. If I was able to wait a a few months I'd go with him!

They did a very nice job. Very detail oriented and timely.

We were never provided a quote for the additional work. After the initial visit, Jeff never returned our calls. Laurel left numerous messages. Jeff not only let us down, but also the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to which he donated his services (and never followed through). If anyone asks us about painters, we will tell them to definitely not use Jacobsen.

They did a great job. I did not use their services just because of the cost. It was pretty high. I would use them in the future if the budget allows.

I contacted Jeff to see when he would be available to paint an interior bedroom. Although I did not use him for services due to a timing issue, he was very nice, professional, and quick to respond.

Would not even return calls about a job I wanted him to complete for us. Called three times and left nice messages and clear phone numbers and requested he call back. I would not recommend this vendor.

Our experience with them was good. It was the lowest bid we got so it was inexpensive. They did a really nice job painting. The only hitch we had with them was that they kind of did not cover stuff. They treated real well but some of the areas they painted had not big drops of paint but had three or four little drops of paint, it was very miniscule but not microscopic drops of paint on some furniture and counter-tops. That's the only thing that was bad about them. Their quote was good and their overall painting techniques were very good. There was no overlap of the paint; the ceiling was white, no blotches of color in the white and vice versa so their cornering and edging was really good. The overall paint application was really good. We actually did use them again in our home as we transitioned into the condominium. We were selling our home and we used them to do some clean up painting at our old home.

The provider was professional and well prepared. The estimate was returned in a timely manner. We decided to go with a painter in the area that had 30 years of business experience, was in our area and gave us a price that was much cheaper than the estimate we recieved from Jacobsen Painting. We were also able to see the crew in action and jobs completed with this company.

Jeff was extremely professional. He did beautiful work. He did additional work as requested by me to take down a light fixture and replaced it with a different one. He just was very easy to work with. His quote was right on point. He kept in contact with me. He completed the work as scheduled. I had no complaints. I would rate him higher than "A" if I could. He is doing an estimate to do the washing and re-staining of our outside decks.

Jeff's team arrived when they said they would. They were courteous and so quiet that although I was working at home for most of the time, I almost forgot they were here. They went above and beyond to care for our old (1920s) plaster walls and the oak trim throughout the whole process. We had a feature wall that had been painted with stripes that created small ridges, and they were able to carefully sand the ridges without removing the natural texture of the plaster. They also repaired one place on the wall where plaster was cracking. The rooms look great, and they were completed in two days. We were glad we didn't attempt to do the job ourselves, especially with the careful cutting in that was required around the oak trim. Jeff stopped in to supervise the work himself. We were especially grateful that they could complete the work in time for several house guests. The only minor downside was that we had initially made the job conditional on evidence of workers' comp insurance, which Jeff assured me he could get in time, but it turned out this wasn't possible to do before the scheduled job date. I don't think this would bother a lot of people, but we were nervous because we're new to home ownership. Jeff did offer to acquire the insurance after the job, but we decided against the hassle. Overall, we're very happy with the work completed and recommend this reliable local business.

Jeff is amazing. He has done interior painting for us in the past and we've been totally happy with the quality of his work as well as his professionalism -- including punctuality, responsiveness, and quality of people he hires to work with him. We had a ratty brick patio installed by previous homeowners that was due for an upgrade and heard that Jeff had started doing building as well, so we were thrilled to be able to hire someone we trust.This deck is the DeckMajal!! We had neighbors standing at the fence to watch them put it in. $14,000 sounds like a lot for a deck, but we wanted the best and we got it. Jeff and his crew dug down and removed tons of dirt in order to pour concrete supports and then build a mega-frame. This deck will withstand ANYTHING we put on it. The deck itself is a thing of beauty: beautifully edged, painstakingly stained (2 days of on-the-knees, by-hand work) and fastidiously finished. What I love about Jeff is that he is pickier than I am. The small things bug him MORE than they bug me so I never have to say anything. While here, I asked Jeff and crew if they would be willing to finish off a half-done tree house in tree at deck-side. Of course. Whipped that out in a day. Looks great, much safer than if we had finished it ourselves (like I said, Jeff thinks of everything) and kids love it.Jeff isn't cheap. His work isn't either. You absolutely get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

Jeff is an excellent communicator. He always let me know how things were going. I was out of town while much of this work was completed so Jeff texted me photos. My new home was a huge job: walls (many took three coats) and ceilings. Jeff arranged for a plaster guy to come in and make repairs prior to painting. That was beautifully done as well. I'm a perfectionist and Jeff did a job that was just perfect. He has great design suggestions as well. My fireplace, which he sprayed, is spectacular! He event painted the brass fireplace curtain holder a lovely black. I was perfectly pleased with the work and even more pleased with Jeff's easy going attitude. This HUGE project was made much less stressful because of him! I highly recommend!

The service was prompt, professional and we are very happy with the quality of the work. The price came in just under what they quoted. I am planning to use them to paint a textured bedroom ceiling later this year.

The initial quote was for painting the guest bedroom in my 86 year old home. I was very concerned about maintaining the integrity and character of my home and was immediately pleased with how in tune Jeff Jacobson was with my desires. Jeff provided a decorator to help me choose final colors and his painter did an excellent job stripping two layers of old paper border (tough job) and then painting the room. The room came out beautifully! It was just what I had asked for. My experience with Jeff was going so well I had him quote re-staining my two level deck and fence and asked if he could put together a crew of contractors to put a new roof on my flat roofed garage that had been leaking for several years. In addition to the roof the job required repairing water damage. This included a plasterer, carpenter and painter. Jeff was up to the challenge and acted as a general contractor for me orchestrating the entire process! The roofer did an incredible job laying down my new rubber roof! The plasterer and carpenter made quick work of all the wall and cupboard door repair needed and of course Jeff's painters did an incredible job putting a fresh coat of paint on everything! These projects were all completed over a four week period of time. It was amazing! I have never seen anything fall so nicely in place. Jeff was able to organize both his painters and the subs so it was moving like clockwork. Jeff has a keen eye and monitored the quality of everyone's work. Jeff's choice of contractors for me was absolutely excellent! Everyone involved did quality work, was very punctual and efficient and willing to go the extra mile. Jeff is a true professional who aims to please his customer. Many times during these projects he stopped to ask if I was completely satisfied with what was being done. Jacobson Painting may not have been the lowest bidder but he proved to me he brought with him much in value add. I will hire him in a heartbeat for my next project!

We truly enjoyed meeting Jeff Jacobsen!My husband and I recently purchased a house and wanted to change the interior wall colors. We searched Angies List and found a few painters, including Jacobsen Painting. Jeff was so prompt in returning my call and immediately made me feel at ease. I explained the job and he agreed to come to the property to provide us an estimate. Jeff also gave us an ADDED VALUE by referring us to a paint consultant who assisted us with color selection. Jeff was very professional - walked through the property and was able to provide us with an estimate immediately. He took his time to explain what he and his crew would do while on site and set proper expectations. He was even willing to work a Saturday to accommodate our schedule!! Ultimately, we opted to go with another contractor ONLY due to the fact this other contractor is already on site painting our basement (he is sub-contracted through our builder). Because he is already doing a job for us, he was able to come in slightly under priced from Jacobsen Painting. If it wasn't due to the convenience of this other contractor already being at our home and the slight price difference, we would have absolutely selected Jeff Jacobsen!! Any future painting jobs - we will not hesitate to hire him! We are very pleased with the work Jeff and his subs performed. We appreciated his willingness to work with our schedule during a hectic time.

Initital visit consisted of site survey, color selection, staging plan and idea-swapping. Work began a little later than planned but communicated and approved in advance. Jeff oversaw work done by other trades and had them return when not satisfied. Jeff personally involved at all times keeping us informed daily of progress. Particularly difficult expansive ceiling with numerous light fixtures done beautifully. Jeff and crew painted at least 3,000 square feet of walls and ceiling and it turned out great. The living room walls took 3 coats to cover to Jeff's high standards. He even called on the weekend and offered to come back for any touch-up we felt necessary. All work was completed in time for move-in. In addition to his expertise, Jeff is very personable, courteous and professional. He insists on 100% customer satisfaction and he most assuredly received it from this customer.

Jacobsen Painting did and excellent job on communicating the project from start to end. He was quick and the deck looks the best is has since moving into our house over 10 years ago. Best of all, he had quoted us the lowest price out of 5 different quotes. I will definetly use Jacobsen Painting for future painting needs.

After finding Jacobsen's listing in Angie's List, I emailed, requesting a quote. I quickly got a return message acknowledging mine and requesting more information, which I sent. I followed up with a phone conversation. The owner indicated he was working on an out-of-town job but would have the chance to produce an estimate within the next week or so. When two weeks had passed without hearing from the owner, I again called. He promised to produce a quote the next week. When another two weeks passed without hearing from the owner I decided that he must not be that interested in my business. I accepted the quote of another provider. The job is in progress now. I never heard from Jacobsen again.

Jeff and his team were very professional and did an outstanding job overall! He was responsive and helpful over the phone right from the start. He was flexible as changes were made, worked within our tight timetable, and was friendly and courteous every step of the way. I would recommend him time and time again and will have him do work for me in the future!

Wonderful experience! I moved from out of state at the beginning of December, to a house with some of the worst paint colors and paint jobs I had ever seen. Virtually everything needed to be redone. Jeff and his crew worked around piles of boxes, furniture, other tradesmen (including floor installation), and my rather crazy schedule. Through the entire process Jeff did an excellent job of communicating the schedule of work, what - if anything - I would need to do, and he kept his promise about when the job would be completed. I was able to host a New Year's gathering and be happy about how the house looked. Jeff's work is meticulous, and he is really respectful of the client's home -- he cleans up almost as well as my mother. He's great about color advice, and will do more than asked -- like installing a bathroom light fixture when the electrician wasn't able to get there. On a personal level, dealing with Jeff is a pleasure. I can't recommend him highly enough, and will definitely call him when I have any other painting to do.

One of the neat things about him is to give advice on the colors. When I told him that I wanted to paint my laundry room with a bright yellow paint, he advised me to use a soft yellow paint instead, as bright yellow could be over-powering. He was absolutely right when I thought about it later. I remember a time when I thought he was a little over-priced.
