Grapids Irrigation

The cost is part of a maintenance plan. I had a problem from the pipeline company. They laid a new gas pipeline in the out lawn. The pipeline people screwed up my sprinkler system so Grapids fixed it. I paid the bill and I sent the bill to the energy company. So the energy company sent the bill to the pipeline company. The guy called me and said they received the bill. Grapids did a good job. I never had any problems with them. The people they send out are very helpful. They are average pricing. They are not high, they are not low. They are right in the middle. They are always on time. Grapids is a local company.

They are really good. They send me a bill in the spring time, and I pay for a package deal for start up, mid summer adjustment, and winterization in the fall.

We have an annual service agreement with them so they open it in the spring and close it in the fall. We have been using them for several years. One of their people has worked on our system for years and he knows it.

replaced 5 heads that were outdated/broken....adjusted all sprinkler heads for proper coverage and spray. Very professional and efficient....strongly recommend.

Very well. I started using them last year. My only concern wa actually my fault. I bought a "rain inicator" from them that I probably don't need. I have a well so I don't have a water cost. It was expensive. But they did not pressure me into buying it. They only asked if I wanted one. My bad. In summary, their visits have been right on time, very efficient and very thorough. This year, they were very careful to check and adjust (and replace if necessary) all sprinkler heads. Their service prices are very reasonable. I will use their services as long as I live here.

Service came out, spent about 20-25 minutes with air compressor clearing out the lines. They changed the sprinkler system settings to activate once a week over the winter to keep things clear, they said. Not a great value (pretty steep price for not a lot of work), but they were on-time, took care of things professionally and I had no worries. That's what I paid for, I think.

I met Aaron Sanders in early March after I met him at the home show. I liked what he had to say so I referred him to my brother for an appointment to install an irrigation system at his home. After my brother wrote him, Aaron responded a week later saying he was away at a convention and would get back to him as soon as possible. It is now the beginning of May and still no word from him, so we all assume they are just to busy to follow up with new customers... My brother went to Splash irrigation and not only had his system installed by them, but they are doing mine as well. We are not happy that we were not at least contacted.

Grapids has never missed an appointment, and this time was no different. They're always punctual, professional and their techs communicate clearly. After arriving, I spoke with the crew member about issues I was having with the water sensor, which was about 4 years old. He brought a ladder (which I requested that morning), which they don't always have with them during start up service. He ran the system and identified 3 broken heads which were quickly replaced. The water sensor was also replaced and is working well. My concerns are related to the new invoicing & payment process. It was not communicated in advance that Grapids now requires payment at the time of service, so I was initially unprepared for that when he asked for payment after the service. The crew member had a little bit of difficulty locating the correct billing parameters on his phone. The amount ($365) feels a little hefty for a sensor and 3 heads, made all the more awkward by having to review it on a phone with immediate payment expected. The benefits (service quality & punctuality) outweigh the concerns for me, but I would encourage Grapids to be more transparent upfront about any pricing and term changes in the future.

Kevin was on-time and performed the opening service for Spring. Checked all four zones and ensured that everything worked (which it did) and set the timer as needed for the upcoming season.

They did a great job and were very timely. I did have an issue with the system late this summer, but they fixed it with no charge or problems. They have great customer service and follow up.

It was raining on the day of the service and I couldn't follow what the technician was telling me. Neither of us wanted to get wet. Hence, I didn't learn how to set the watering schedule. But when I phoned the company and told them of my dissatisfaction, they made a return visit to my yard and everything was okay. I will now use them to winterize the system. Because the initial visit was unsatisfactory, I have given them a B on responsiveness. I also think $79 is a bit high.

After slogging our way thru several different irrigation contractors with our multiple issues related to initial zone design flaws (by a different contractor), we've finally found somebody who has the knowledge, professionalism and customer service responsiveness to meet our needs!

They've always been prompt and professional. They always do what they say they will. They're always on time and make appointments carefully.

They did a great job as always. Always on time, extremely friendly and professional and worked hard and fast. I couldn't be happier.

Set up appointment with the service manager for 9 - 11 AM on Wednesday July 24th. He was a little late but no big deal. Discussed installation requirements for back yard. Called August 8th @ 9 AM and left a message requesting status of estimate. To date (8/14) have not received either a return phone call or an emailed estimate. Given the overwhelming positive reviews on Angie's List, I guess they were due to drop the ball on somebody and unfortunately it was me.

Great - Joe is awesome and knows his irrigation systems. He makes good suggestions and replaces parts as needed. He is punctual and efficient.

For the new irrigation system in the back yard, they came out and measured the back yard, prepared a diagram and the recommended systems to use, including a new controller with rain sensor. They provided as reasonable price, came at the scheduled time and installed and tested the system. They also explained how use properly use the system. Clean up was excellent.

They are wonderful. They guys are very nice and they do a great job. I am very glad we chose to go with them.

We have been happy with them for a number of years. We had trouble with the settings a couple of times. The gentleman who came out was very patient and did a great job with helping us out. Whenever we have had broken heads they are always available. They are professional and have great customer service. We have never had a problem with them at all.

We have used this company for years. Although they are expensive, the technician does a great job. He's always on time and very professional. He knows exactly what to do and we're very satisified with the service.

Very good overall experience. The technician arrived at the expected time. The shut off valve was in an unusual place and it took us some time to locate it (I just bought the house one month earlier, so I did not know where it was located). After we located the valve, the technician completed the winterization. He did point out that I may want to have a plumber take a look at the pipes near the shut off valve as they appeared to have been shoddily installed. He also told me I was going to be receiving a 10% discount on the winterization service since I had it done in September. That was a nice surprise. I would recomment Grapids Irrigation to anyone.

They were the first to alert me to a water main problem where the sprinkler line comes off the main. They don't do that kind of work, so I hired another plumber. They didn't have to point it out to me, but they did. Above and beyond the call of duty.
