City Basement fixed a leak in our basement. There was a leak along a wall that we have had for a long time and it was hard to identify. They stopped by and took a look at it, identified what was wrong, and worked on the repairs the next day. Very prompt and on time, very professional.

Hank and his team did a great job. We had water in the basement from cracks in the foundation. He was very prompt, came over and assessed the work that needed to be done. He advised that the best way to fix the water problem was by digging from the outside and fixing/sealing the wall from there. His team dug all the way to the floor of the basement from the outside and were extremely conscientious and neat about taking out and replacing the landscaping exactly as it was. I was very impressed with how nice they left everything, you would never have known they dug a hole. They also fixed two cracks that were not accessible by digging, by filling them with an epoxy from the inside of the basement. He is also true to his word and his warranty. Two weeks after he fixed the wall that he dug out, it rained and the wall leaked again. He came out within a few days, dug the area out, and did another repair, no questions asked, and no extra costs. It is covered by the warranty he has in his contract. I was so very impressed by how responsive he was and attentive to dealing with the problem. So far, no more water has come into the basement. I would definitely refer Hank and City Basement. I appreciate the great job they did.

City Basement responded quickly, provided a timely estimate, scheduled the work and did the job correctly. Not much more to tell. They provided service like business are supposed to provide. They did what they said they needed to do. I had a leak, now I don't.

For a number of years we had rain water puddle in the basement against the south wall after a hard rain. I took part of the drywall out near the floor to see what the problem was and discovered a vertical crack in the poured concrete wall. We did not want to have the finished interior wall removed to fix the crack from the inside. We had City Basement repair the crack from the outside. Hank did an excellent job and was very easy to work with from the initial estimate to the cleanup of the outside digging.We would definitely recommend him to others and use him again if needed.

The quote was competitive with others I had received. Hank was on time with the scheduled meeting and I received the quote in the mail in a couple of days and he was able to schedule me within the week. The workmanship was excellent. They set out a tarp to pile all the dirt and they had to dig up one shrub. After they repaired the crack, they replaced the shrub and all the dirt. The only sign that they were there was that the soil was a little higher where they dug. Very neat and clean!

Called on a referral plus was listed on Angie's. Was out to give an estimate within a couple days. Described exactly what he would do and what condition he would leave our yard in. Gave a verbal estimate and followed it up with a written one with a couple days. I called to schedule it - within one week. Even though it snowed about 8-10 inches the day before, they kept the appt. I called a day before asking to be there early so I could met them before they started. Showed up earlier than I had asked. Were done in less than 6 hours with both areas. Left lawn and landscaping exactly as it was - had to work around stone, edging, drain pipes, and mulch. Very professional. Now the proof is in the pudding - we must wait until a good rain and see how it holds. I am confident that even if it does have an issue, they will stand behind it. I have a lifetime guarantee. The referral I had, also used them and did have a leak afterward - it was corrected promptly and leak never returned. Extremely satisfied so far!

Mr. Houseman gave us a written estimate of repairs and a tentative repair time of 48 to 72 hours. He and his crew were punctual and on time. They did the work in a very professional manner. The estimate came with a life time warranty against future leaks (transferable to a new owner, with written notice of transfer). Approximately one week after the repair we had our next heavy rain. The basement stayed dry, but the crawl space again was wet. Mr. Houseman came out on a Saturday morning, turned a hose onto the outside wall of the suspected leak area and waited in the crawl space. In about 15-20 minutes the water test revealed a crack that would only be evident during a significant rain. The next day, on Sunday, Mr. Houseman patched the crack area. This was all done under warranty. We have not had a sign of leakage since then.
