Bartlett Tree Experts

Wonderful technicians, thoroughly professional, highly knowledgeable, but expensive. I am looking for alternatives on cost alone. All else about Bartlett Tree Service is excellent. If I do not find alternative service of the same quality and lower cost, I will use Bartlett Tree Service again.

Bartlett's was great! They came out to the house and gave me an estimate for tree removal. When the workmen came to remove the tree, they were prompt and friendly. They did a great job removing the tree quickly and carefully. They let me know what existing damage they noted on the roof. They encouraged me to call them in the spring if I noticed any lawn damage from the machinery required for the job--they would come back and fix the damage at that time.

Work was done well and the site was cleaned up after. Only delay came from our late decision to have stumps ground. They had to comtact "miss dig" to insure no underground ervices were present.

fertillized our trees per annual contract. No issues with Bartlett. Seem very busy as when we call for someone to come and look at a problem, it is up to 2 weeks before they come. However when they come, the rep seems very knowledgable and pleasant. I think they may need more seasonal personnel to accomodate high demand situations.

I love working with Bartlett. The arborist knows our trees/property and the issues we have with our trees. He is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Climbed trees and trimmed branches on various trees on the property.

It went very well. The reason I chose them was because they came out to the house to inspect the branch to see if it was in immediate danger of falling onto the house. They concluded (correctly) that it was not and scheduled the work within a week or so. The trimmers were pleasant, professional, did their work efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly. Their estimate was in line with another one that I got at the same time.

i have only ever used Bartlett as I consider them to be the most professional & safe tree company.They are always careful with my property & cleanup.They have an incredible certified arborist.The quality is well worth the price.I know there are less expensive tree cos. but i want things done correctly!

Great. They were quick in responding to my phone call, and quick in getting the job done. They also did a good job in cleaning up and hauling all the trimmed branches away.

In a word - Excellent. Tree was removed in a half of a day and within 48 hours of first contact. Care was taken to protect sprinkling system. Professionally handled from start to finish.

I talked with Brian Heimstra to secure a date when the tree would receive their service. As it was a very small and quick job I understood that it would be done later in the season. Surprise! The team was here within a week and did a superb job as usual. Consulted with my neighbor to gain access to the back yard using their drive way, cut all branches (especially those touching the two homes and their garage) and cleaned up all limbs and breakage. Will contnue to use Bartlette in the future!

First tree about 40 ft and close to the house. Second tree about 30 ft and dead. A very clean job done by the crew. Used crane for a clean execution.

Overall, the company is very professional and efficient. They were a great help in a tough situation! I didn't know what to do, but they got the tree cleaned up, and helped me with what to send to my insurance company and made sure the job was completed. I'll be calling them again in the future!

Bartlett saved the trees and they look beautiful now. He was wonderful. He also let me know I should keep the ivy away from the trees. I would recommend him.

Bartlett Tree Service were prompt with inspection and estimate. The estimate was competitive with other companies. They were able to schedule service within a 10 day time frame. The removal of the tree went smoothly and they went to great lengths to protect the other trees in the yard from being damage from falling limbs. The actual cost of the job was a few dollars under the estimated cost. Bartlett called for a follow up call several days following the completion of the job. Bartlett Tree Service is very professional and I would highly recommend this company!

They are always prompt, polite, and professional. Work was done well, but I had Scott come back because I had some concerns about the thinning. He patiently explained the anatomy of the tree and why it was thinned the way it was. So he not only got the job done right, he educated me on the correct way to care for my trees.

Our ash trees were damaged by Emerald Ash Borers. He came out and evaluated them and made recommendations. He knew alot about all the trees in our lot and walked with us around our property and gave recommendations. Very knowledgeable and helpful. One of three trees had to come down. They applied treatment to the other two a few weeks later, and those ash trees are still hanging in there...

I was very pleased with the work of Bartlett Tree Experts. They were easy to work with. I called to make the appointment, and dealt with professional and competent office workers. Ryan came out soon after my first call, to look at the trees and make an estimate. He answered lots of questions and was very pleasant to deal with. He used a portable printer to give ma written estimate for the work (fertilization and pruning) the same day. It took me a long time (a few weeks) to make a decision about going ahead, because I was also deciding about having landscaping done by another contractor, and I wanted to know the full price for all services before I decided. Bartlett's called back to see if I needed any additional information, and they were very patient about waiting for me to make a decision. Once I decided to go ahead, the work was easily scheduled. The workers came on time, and did exactly what they said they would do for the price specified in the estimate. I was very happy with the work.

Everything went well from start to finish including the initial meeting to get a price.

Overall, it was less painful than I expected. The trees aren't hopeless, and the cost was reasonable.

We needed a simple tall bush/tree cut away from our roof line. They had to send our two workers to do the job since there are cables that run through the bush. No problem. When I arrived home after the service had been done: 1) The top of the cut was just a few inches below the roof line and I had asked for it to be at least a foot below the roof line. (Why would I ask for the service if the bush would just grow back to the roof line in a few months?) 2) The bush simply had it's top cut off and looked ridiculous. No shaping, no trimming -- which we were not asked about. I only know about this option because of another tree service business that seems to operate much better than Barlett's. Fortunately, we called back and told them about the work that had been done and another crew was sent out a few days later. This is why I'm giving the company a 'B' for Professionalism and Responsiveness. They cut the bush to the appropriate size, but still no trimming/shaping. My bush still looks ridiculous. But I can't afford any more money towards this bush, especially since I was charged too much, compared to a co-worker who received similar work from another company.
