Showed up when scheduled. Crew chief was a certified arborist and very knowledgeable. Good clean-up and removed all debris. Equipment broke down but returned a week later to finish the job.

They have done a great job for us. Many tree services are quick to take trees down. The representative from Bartlett looked quite sad when he agreed that a tree we've been trying to save just isn't going to make it. I appreciate the passion they have for their work.

They have an Arborist and he takes care of all the trees on the property, so he inspects them and as things come, we get the work done. The last time all he did was evaluate a tree. They fertilized in the fall. The reasons we keep going back to them is they have an Arborist, safety, quality of work, and reputation. It's not cheap. He is pretty busy and he is really a great guy and gets things done.

They did the job quickly and thoroughly. It was easy to get a quote and then also to schedule once we decided on their service.

It was a pleasure working with Bartlett. Brian was knowledgable about the tree species and their growing requirements. He coordinated with our landscaping company to get all the work completed in coordination with them. Everythiing was done on time despite lots of rain and they cleaned up really well. We would definitely recommend and use again in the future.

Bartlett was very busy when I called for a quote. They gave me a date for the arborist to come look at my tree about 3-4 weeks after my initial call. He arrived on the appointed day on time and was very knowledgeable. He took the time to tell me about some of my other trees too. Once I accepted the quote, they had people out to trim my tree in a week. It looks wonderful! My river birch was rubbing on my roof and the siding of my house, and was dropping over the sidewalk and alley. It also constantly shed twigs and dead branches into my yard. Bartlett took the tree way up off the sidewalk and street, cut it away from my house, thinned the dead branches and they seem to have shaped it a little as well. Looks amazing and they cleaned up every last twig. I will definitely use them again.

Bartlett did a great job. It took them awhile to schedule the job because of all the requests for work after the storm in August. However, they were responsive, professional and I plan on hiring them again.

They wanted like $300 to give an estimate. No one else on Angie's List has terms like that.

I have a large tree in my front yard that was in need of trimming. One large branch in particular was hanging over my roof and I wanted it cut back. Initial response was good. I called and asked about services in October and someone came out to look at the tree. We were given the quote within a week and were told they were a few weeks to over a month out on the schedule. As we were thinking it over, they called us within a few days of the quote to find out if we had decided to use their services. We decided to go forward and were told they would try to squeeze us in between jobs since our job wasn't huge. We waited a few weeks but did not hear anything. My wife finally called and we were told we were scheduled for Dec 31st. It was alot longer than was initially implied as a timeline. I just wish there were a little follow up to let us know the time frame. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. Our tree looks great and they did a perfect job cleaning up the debris. Overall, I would recommend Bartlett because I thought the price was fair, they did a good job and they were always pleasant when we talked to them. I also liked that they sent us an invoice after the job was completed. You know you can trust a company that does work before asking for payment.

They were kind, efficient & professional. We appreciated the time they took to explain procedures & how we needed to follow up for success.

Brian's team did an amazing job. Communication was excellent throughout, guys were there first thing in the a.m. as advertised and they took time to walk around with me and discuss the approach. The work looks terrific--a huge improvement to not only my yard, but neighbors too--and not so much as a spec of sawdust left behind. A+++ and would hire again in an instant.

After initial contact through the internet, contact was made by their office the next day. Arrangements were made to have an expert look at our trees and make a recommendation. The review of his service was sent by internet on the following day and the service was completed in three days. The service was efficient and the clean up was complete. I would highly recommend this company. You don't allow for an A+ but I am giving them that grade.

Our large old rare tree needed experts to trim and expect it. Bartlett did a great professional job. They also left us some firewood per our request. Thank you.

They did very detail quote, very professional.

He called us back; I asked him if he was one of the providers we had come out to give us an estimate. He said that if we had called other people out to give us estimates he was not going to bother coming out to give us one himself.

I contacted several suggested sources that local county agricultural agent provided. Best direction provided came from landscaping business. They sourced the treatment material as well as equipment & suggested best times for treatment over the course of the growing season. Great resource.

They came out to remove some treed and then then they came out to do an inspection and recommendation. They were responsive, and they came on time and did the work.

The work was done at the times given, though times had to be changed due to storms that required changes in their schedule. The crews cleaned up well and work foreman AJ kept us informed of questions that came up during the work. They paid close attention to not damaging the lawn by laying down protective barriers prior to using heavy equipment. They replaced part of a bird feeder that was inadvertently damaged.

Excellent, cleaned up everything after they were done.

I have been using their service for five years. Their prices are wonderful. Brian McKensie their arborist is very knowledgeable and does a great job.

The three young men who came to my house to do the work were polite, professional and very knowledgeable about the work they were doing. I am most impressed with their awareness of and adherence to safety practices. Very Impressed indeed. The job was a lot more involved than estimated and took about 6 hours to complete. The tree was located on the rear fence line of my property and they manually hauled all of the tree debris to a chipper in my driveway, raked the yard and blew the driveway clear. I would not hesitate to use Bartlett's services again and would certainly recommend them to others.

After noticing that one of our massive trees had begun to split, we contacted Bartlett for a diagnosis and estimate. They came out that same day and offered what we felt was professional advice at a fair price. Work was scheduled for the next business day. Three young men arrived and began trimming and cabling our trees. While there, one of them pointed out one other tree that needed trimming, offered a reasonable price to trim while they were there, which was appreciated. The large job was completed in a timely manner, and the yard left completely free of debris. Left unsupervised, they did a fantastic job. The trees look great and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Quotes were efficient and fair. I had 3 quotes and they were within a few dollars of the lowest cost. They came when they said they would to chop down the tree. There was a slight delay in getting the stumps done (several weeks) because we had a bad storm and they had other priorities for a little bit. The only thing they might have done better is to let me know of the delay, I called when I didn't hear from them for about 7 days to see when the stump grinding was scheduled, and it was then they told be about the delay. I kinda figured as much as I knew the storm was bad, but it would have been nice to be notified rather than having to call and find out. They did a great job, with the work and the clean up. Very little debri left when cutting down the tree.

They did a great job. Took down the tree and removed all of the wood. Also ground the stump. Excellent job, we would use them again. They were on time and followed through with what they said they would do.

All of their staff are professional arborists, and so that makes a huge difference. They are excellent. There is nothing for them to improve on.
