Inspired Green

Description of Work: I wanted to access the rebates for insulation and improving home efficiency. In the end, I found that what they really wanted was to replace my roof, to which I was open, but their estimate for the replacement was almost double what others offered, and we went with another company. They also did not follow up to provide all the info needed for the rebates they were offering to access for us.

Description of Work: I would not recommend Inspired Green. They recommended certain work that we should do to improve our home insulation, which was what we hired them to do. HOWEVER, we learned after hiring our own contractors that they would not provide free follow-up testing to assess the effectiveness of improvements because we did not hire their contractors. We were required to pay for the assessment test again. |I don't remember what we paid them but it was too much.

Description of Work: improved energy efficiency of home

Description of Work: They came in and did an energy audit, by putting a fan in the front door to draw air out. They they took thermal pictures of every bedroom, the living room, and kitchen. They showed us where there was air leakage, meaning that heat was escaping through lots of places. When they added the insulation, they made sure it filled up all those places. The person doing the work also adjusted the threshold of our french doors, eliminating a lot of the drafts we felt. We did get about a $1000 in tax rebates.

Description of Work: they worked with consumers energy and did an energy audit, then worked up a plan to correct issues. They worked with me on the plan, price and then scheduled the work. they were prompt, courteous and clean. They did testing pre and post work to prove that what they did made a difference. They were easy to contact and work with. great job.
