Description of Work: I will be using Grand Blanc Mechanical for all my HVAC needs from now on. He returned my call within a few minutes and arrived promptly. He quickly identified the issue with my AC. Even though it is an old AC unit, he only recommended replacing the burned out electrical piece because everything else was still operating properly. (This is where most AC technicians convince you a new unit is needed.) The replacement was made quickly and at a fair price. Call and you won't be disappointed.

Description of Work: I called the company out to give me a quote on installing a new account unit for the spring. The owner came out he was nice. He examined the unit and then left. I never heard back from him nor received a quote. Will not recommend company because I never received quote.

Description of Work: Diagnosed problem with furnace, installed new furnace and central air conditioning. Steve was very thorough, clearly explained the problem with my furnace and the cost of fixing it, and explained my options. I chose to replace the furnace and also replaced my 20-year-old central air conditioning. I was very satisfied with the service and installation and highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: The guy couldn't promise that what he was going to do was going to fiz the problem. He sealed and recharged the A/C. He also went around and checked vents, cold air returns etc. He advised me to change the filter once a month, which I was doing about every 6-8 weeks. The system is working great! He took the time to figure out problems and make suggestions. I will call again for future needs.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed with the way that Steve addressed all of my questions and concerns. Every step of the way he asked if I had any questions about anything. I had another company come in to give me an estimate and he insisted that I should get the highest seer ac unit possible. After talking to Steve about it, he broke it down for me in terms of how long it would take for me to recoup the cost of the higher seer unit. I was surprised that he actually talked me out of getting the more expensive unit because it would not benefit me in the long run. Overall, Steve was very professional and had great communication throughout the whole process. He made a very scary process a lot more manageable for me.
Description of Work: Steve came into my home, gave me an estimate and then installed a central air conditioning unit.

The job was completed as promised and he actually provided some labor that was not part of the original project. He did a great job. Very conscientious, he wanted to make sure the job was done right.
Description of Work: Ran a gas line into the kitchen for a new gas stove. (I changed from electric stove top to gas stove top). Hooked up the cooking unit to both gas and electrical and installed the cook top.
