It went great. I visited my granddaughter on Sunday and it was so hot in her house and she is 9 months pregnant. She was so miserable in the heat. I came home and during the night a bad storm woke me so I thought I would check Angie’s List for a serviceman to repair he AC. It was 1:30 AM or so and I sent a message through Angie’s List thinking Grand Blanc Electrical would contact me in the morning. To my surprise I got a reply just a few minutes after I sent the message. Steve gave me the rate for a service call and an assessment of the problem. I replied and asked that he contact me in the morning. Steve called and said he could be at her home in about 30 minutes. He asked if I wanted him to just go ahead and fix it if it was a problem under 200.00 and I said yes please. About an hour later I received a call from Steve telling that the work was completed. May granddaughter was elated. He installed a new capacitor and cleaned the unit. I can’t believe how luck I was to have found someone that was willing to go out so quickly and resolve the issue. It’s so rare to receive same day service these days. He said I could just mail a check but I was so happy with such excellent service I drove over to his business and paid him immediately. I will use this company from now on for any future needs and would highly recommend him.

We have hired Steve on multiple occasions. He is always very responsive, goes out of his way to accommodate his clients, is highly knowledgeable and trustworthy. We will never use anyone else for our heating and cooling needs. His outstanding customer service has made us customers for life!!!

I called Steve to set up a service call. Polite, professional and punctual. Called from his previous appointment to confirm arrival at appointed time, nice. Got right to work, identified the issue, clearly communicated everything that was going on with my AC: existing problem and potential issues, near- & long-term. Fixed the immediate problem. old 30 yr old furnace broke. he was at my house within the hour. he tried everything to fix it but it needing replacing. he may be rough around the edges but he replaced for a good price and did a great job. id recommend this company to family and friends.

This was our second time hiring Grand Blanc Mechanical. Steve is great. He helped us troubleshoot things over the phone at no cost before coming out. Very prompt, good customer service. Stuck to his quoted price even though he could have charged more. He's polite and friendly and did a very good job.

went great showed up exactly the time he said , explained every little detail before work and after put down tarps to keep house clean repaired outside intake/outtake vents steve the owner came over replaced our inducer at no charge just to keep our furnace running until furnace new came in treated us like family wasn't like your typical CONTRACTOR he did not add on extra costs showed up and finished the job he said on time did extra and did not charge us would definitely use him again if your reading this for your furnace concerns just call him before the other hvac and compare them we will be using him always

I cannot say enough about what a pleasure it was to deal with Steven and his helper from Grand Blanc Mechanical. He was on time, polite, and very helpful in explaining how to operate my humidifier. We had priced other humidifiers and found his price to be less expensive when comparing the unit as well as installation costs. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Call him at 9 o'clock Friday morning, he was here within an hour with the part and installed it. Furnace seems to be running fine which is a good thing because it's been getting down to 4? in the morning.

My furnace quit working on December 24th. I had Grand Blanc Mechanical out for some AC work earlier in the year, in which they completed that work to my complete satisfaction, so I called them out again. To my surprise, the owner, Steve Fletcher was at my door within a half hour of my call on Christmas Eve! He troubleshot the furnace and unfortunately the problem was a cracked Heat Exchanger that was causing an overheat condition that kept kicking out an overheat sensor. With the furnace right at 20 years old and the Heat Exchanger out of warranty, Steve advised me to consider a new furnace because the cost of replacing the heat exchanger to buying new just was not cost effective. He took the time to explain my options and instructed me how to utilize the furnaces fan to help circulate the heat I was getting out of my gas fireplace to get me by for now. He took the time to send me several options for a replacement in an email within a few hours of his visit, again all on Christmas Eve. Fortunately for me the weather remained quite mild for late December and I was able to get through Christmas and the weekend before I had to make a decision on what I could afford to spend and thus the final solution for my furnace dilemma. After much research over the replacement options my wife and I decided to go with a new furnace and picked a Luxaire unit that has a 97.5 % efficiency rating with a modulating gas valve system. ( My house is now warm and it is heating the whole house evenly. I had a single stage system prior ) Now facing down a arctic cold front I called Steve on Monday and told him we were going to buy the new furnace. It looked like we were still two days away, but Steve hussled things along and was at my door 15 minutes earlier then he said on the very next day! He had the furnace and had it fully installed within a few hours. Having a home warranty that helped offset the cost, Steve had the necessary paperwork submitted within an hour of leaving my house. I can not say enough good things about Grand Blanc Mechanical and Steve Fletcher. He is my HVAC Guy now and will goto him for any service I may need in the future. He is a fair, upfront, no BS contractor that has earned our trust. He was more than fair in the final cost and handled the job in a very professional manner, moving quickly to ensure our needs were being taken care of. I can't give enough praise to show how satisfied we are with the product and service!!! I highly recommend Grand Blanc Mechanical!

Steve was great. Arrived on time, friendly, warm. Checked out our current furnace and provided an honest assessment of its longevity and status. Provided information about new furnaces for our consideration, but was not pushy in any way. He installed the humidifier, and then showed me how it works, and how to check the hoses, tray, etc. Also, offered his availability over the phone if any questions in the future. Very professional, and clearly knows all about furnaces. When the time comes, we will use him for a new furnace.

Steve dropped everything he was doing and came directly to my home. He fixed my furnace, provided me with the root cause for my problem, gave me some tips on how to maintain things and was out the door within 15 minutes. It was pretty amazing.

Steve was here within three hours of my call and arrived at the time he estimated. He was prompt and was easily able to diagnose the issue with our non-working furnace. He replaced the igniter and then fixed and clamped a leaking pipe on our furnace's exhaust. We feel that Steve is honest and dependable. Our furnace is now working great!

I purchased a tune up deal from Angies list. Steve arrived when he said he would. My furnace wouldn't start for me and he diagnosed it right away, started it and didn't even charge me extra. He was very pleasant and I will definitely use him in the future.
