Description of Work: A control value on our 26 year old boiler that was showing its age in other ways was broken and needed to be replaced. After considering the options that were presented and discussed, with no pressure sales tactics, we decided to replace the boiler with another Weil McLain instead of repair. The Terry Allen crew, especially Roy, were outstanding, as was Walter the service manager. They were punctual, polite, knowledgable and professional, and Roy is a master craftsman as well as gentleman. The younger guys are learning a lot from him. We had a travel commitment that posed a real challenge but we were able to work together to get the work done in a way that worked well for both. It was a relief to have heat in the house before we left. The job was completed when we returned. We had heard good things about Terry Allen P&H and are pleased with their responsivness and good work. I called two other companies -- one responded 10 days after I left my message, and the other struck me as being more interested in a sale than trying to help me solve a problem. I felt more confidence in dealing with Terry Allen than I have with other Plumbing & Heating companies in the area.

Description of Work: Technician recharged A/C system.

Description of Work: I had a leak in the feed line to my first floor toilet, which had caused water damge to the ceiling in the basement. I called Terry Allen, and told the plumber who came that I wanted it fixed so it wouldn't happen again. He installed a new feed line and valve, and told me it would be a long-term fix. This month (August 2012), fifteen months later, it failed, and I sustained water damage that will cast me nearly $1,000 to fix.
