Dennis came in with mask ready to find the issue and make the necessary changes. He was really friendly and efficient, I am very satisfied and will use them for all my future plumbing issues

He came the first time and said that the issue was fixed and it would take a couple of weeks to get the hot water because of a filter issue. I never got hot water. I called and they sent the same plumber out. He now claimed that a new hot water heater was needed. Despite receiving hot water everywhere else. I googled the problem and literally fixed it myself. I later received a bill because he claimed that it was a different problem.

The service man was friendly and polite.

Great! The technician was very knowledgeable, polite, and did a wonderful job! He explained everything that needed to be done and offered several solutions, so we had options. When every other plumber turned us away or gave us a month out, he did the job that day! Best service ever!!!

Not happy with you guys. When I called and told you guys I would pay the $69 for an estimate for the work for my father who lives out of state. But I wanted a call before any work was done with what the total cost of repairs would be. The repair technician took it upon him self to do the work without my approval. When I asked him about it he even said it ways his fault that he did that. I've never heard of a company proceeding with a work order without authorization that it was ok to proceed. I'm extremely disappointed with the service from you company. I would of authorized the repairs but would of appreciated a phone call letting me the amount before hand. I will never do business with your company again nor recommend your services to anyone. I do want to mention the quality of work based on what my father said was excellent, I'm just really upset the work was preformed without my authorization since I communicated to your company that I was the one that was paying the bill and never gave the go ahead to fix the ac without letting me know the cost first.

Employees seemed to be arrogant not helpful whatsoever... centrail air was hooked up however it didn't work the following summer, I called they came out said it was a thermostat wire (possibly) wanted 200 to replace the wire that may or may not be the problem.. i told them it worked prior to their installing the new furnace, pretty much said trough luck. Now if it worked before and not after i feel they are responsible honestly, kind of a joke is my opinion! This installation was for my 78yo mother.... just sad!

I contacted Terry Allen today because I had been ongoing problems with my furnace for the last two years and had been attempting to troubleshoot it myself including changing the thermostats, filters, and getting tuneups. Resulting in my family and I spending half the winters in the cold. Finally this year the furnace got to the place where it would not work unless you bypassed all functions and allowed it to run continually or it would make a clicking noise and it just wouldn't catch anymore. The attendant that came out was an elderly gentleman that stated that he had been in his profession for 45 years and he used a handheld device to diagnose my furnace to find exactly what was wrong and called to get me a price of how much it would cost to get it fixed. I asked him what would cause this problem and he just stated that it was man-made and that to paraphrase, "things happen". Although he wasn't very talkative he was polite, went out got the part, came back and installed it promptly and efficiently and when he left my furnace sounded quieter and better than ever. Overall I was pleased with the professionalism and that there was no exploitation involved. I would use this service again.

He was on time but too unprofessional in my opinion. He was about to actually stand in one of my dining room chairs to reach the light.

The parts men are very knowledgable and willing to share their ideas

he was on time, and had to get creative to give us a shower again, This is a 50 yr old hand shower/faucet combo that would have been very expensive to replace. Alternative was to put in a normal shower head, etc., which would be more expensive and we didn't want to do as we would be moving the bathroom in the next year or two. He was creative in getting the shower to work, but had to block the faucet from working. That was alright as we don't take baths anyways.

Called for an appointment. The workers came out and were on time. Provided good suggestions and completed the work timely and at a good cost.

The installation took about 3 to 4 days. All workers and work was very professional. We experienced no negative issues whatsoever. We have hired them again since initial work to repair a second-floor water leak entering through the ceiling of first floor with the same results: excellent and prompt service.

I have used Terry Allen for over 25 years, since buying my house in 1989. They have always been excellent at what they do and have charged a fair price, until now. The company has switched to charging by the job instead of charging for time and material. Many companies in our area have also done this. Blessing Plumbing and heating in Grand Blanc being one. The problem with this way of charging is, they have a guide line book that gives a price for just about anything. It's very general and treats every job the same. The prices seem to be for the worst case scenario. They are extremely high. If the job takes five minutes or ten hours, you get charged the same amount. There is no flexibility what so ever. When you get your bill ,it simply gives the job and the price charged. Nothing about how much parts where of how many hours were spent working on anything. The bill good have been written by a trained monkey. I figured the last time they were out, I paid over two hundred dollars an hour for the job that was done. It was done well, but not that well! I agreed to let them do the job becuase I had water running in the wall from a broken shower fixture. I couldn't turn the water on to the house without water spraying all over. I was stuck. So, after over thwenty five years of calling Terry Allen for my plumbing needs, I am done. I will look for a plumber that charges for time and material. In my opinion, that's the only honest way to bill a plumbing job. Billing by the job just gouges your customers. I'm retired and on a fixed income. I can't afford Terry Allen anymore.

Made extensive efforts to locate a leak but were not able to find one.

I thought we were way over charged for the work done. I did contact Terry Allen the next day and complained. They refunded me some of my money. They did good work, but the price to do the work I feel was very high.

For plumbing issues, Terry Allen is the worst. They did nothing and we ended up calling another company to do the work. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

Terry Allen has been maintaining my boiler for approx. 10 years. Very pleased thus far. Same technician (Roy) has been excellent for all of those years. This visit was no different. Showed up on time, completed the work required, cleaned up and was done in a very reasonable amount of time.

The young man who performed the air duct cleaning was prompt, professional and respected my home. The older gentleman who performed the furnace cleaning was not as prompt or professional in his demeanor or willing to answer questions, but he was not rude or inappropriate.

Plumber arrived early, was done working in approx. 45 minutes. Friendly, informative, cleaned up afterwards.

Water heater died on 5-7, we called Terry Allen at 9:30am on 5-8, they had serviceman out at 1:30 to put in new gas water heater and he was done and gone by 3:30pm. Awesome experience and would highly recommend. And I got a 10% senior discount!!!

Service person unable to fix furnace. Seemed more interested in selling new installation than making repair

Did not show on day of appointment. Called to reschedule from next day. Gave us a 10% discount for the inconvenience.

Sewer was backing up everyone else I called was booked for about a week they came out and service was done late the next day. The workers were polite and tried not to make a mess. The work was complete in less than an hour.

i had a great experience all eccept terry allen didnt honor the coupon on his page. he claimed that it was only for service, which isnt what the coupon says. i hate a scammer and especially one that pulls it AFTER the job was done. i wont use them again.

They are excellent, I have absolutely no complaints about them at all.
