VERY WELL.

Fence installed in backyard. Beautiful fence with lots of extra details. Robust fence with 6X6 posts. Team did excellent work but took a bit longer than I would have expected. Team worked 8 or less than 8 hour days on some occasions, which dragged the work out a bit. However, overall the fence was of high quality at a great price. Many people in my neighborhood have asked me specifically for the fence company because they look the look of the fence. I would highly recommend...best bang for the buck around.

Construction went as planned. We are very happy with the results and have had many complements. Jeff is honest, prompt, and holds customer satisfaction higher than any other company i have used to date. Read enough other reviews here that will say the same exact thing and you'll wonder why anyone's wasting their time with any other fence company.

Overall it went excellent. I initially called them to set up a date and time to get an estimate for the work I wanted completed. Jeff was prompt in showing up for the initial estimate. Together we walked the fence line, and discussed what needed to be done. Jeff provided his estimate which I agreed to, and we set a date for completion of the work. I requested that they call the day prior to insure our pets were inside the house, so not to bother them while working. They called and left a message indicating they would be at our residence the next day. Jeff and his crew did an outstanding job completing the work. They had the proper tools necessary to complete the work, and they did a great job cleaning up the debris after they finished the work. If your looking for fence work I highly recommend Superior Fence.

Original contact was slow as they had transposed a digit in the phone number. Having done the same on occasion, that was understandable. There was then some delay when it was determined that I had to "clear the fence line." While I found this disappointing at first, another fence company made the same stipulation. In the end I found it really wasn't that difficult to clear branches and shrubbery. As it turned out, there was still some hard work which they readily performed to remove roots and rocks at the base line. I was impressed on the day they set the posts as a heavy rain-storm came through. They sat it out in their truck and finished the job without leaving the site. Their price was very competitive and they did an excellent job. (My apologies for taking so long to add this favorable report to their records.)

Replaced 2 gates on fence in back yard. Service was completed quickly and efficiently and was reasonably priced. Great people to work with. Will use them again in the future if needed.

Initial contact and estimate was professional, prompt, and personable. Service was likewise prompt and professional. Fence was installed over challenging and uneven terrain; they made it look good. Ensured I was happy with the job before calling it done. Job was finished ahead of schedule. Provided a 2-year warranty on craftsmanship.

They were punctual and the repair work was done in a timely manner.

A lady from Superior came out to the house we just purchased in Madison to provide a quote for a wood privacy fance. She was about 20 minutes late, but she did call in advance to let me know she was running behind and was apologetic. Everything seemed to be going great. She said she would email a quote to right away. One week later, and I haven't heard a word from Superior. (UPDATE: FOUR WEEKS LATER, I FINALLY RECEIVED A QUOTE FROM SUPERIOR FENCE)

Superior Fence repaired our damaged privacy fence and replaced a 10 ft double gate. They did an excellent job. They were punctual and professional. We will use them again for some additional fencing we plan to have installed.

The work was done quickly and the end result was excellent. I am very pleased with the quality and the cost of the project. I would recommend this business highly.

Lisa Walker contacted me right away after receiving a request for estimate on Angie's List. We made an appointment and she arrived at my residence and measured the area that I wanted the fence installed. We discussed the type of fencing I wanted installed and I showed her a photo of a fence type that I found on the internet. Jeff and Lisa provided the estimate and we signed an agreement. The fence turned out beautifully, just the way I wanted it and is probably the best in the neighborhood. It's made of 6x6 posts that make it very sturdy with screw construction where needed and should far outlast any other fences you see being installed these days. I was really impressed by the steel tubular reinforcement used on the 16 foot gate that Jeff had custom built. Awesome job and I've even received positive comments from the neighbors. My first interaction with Superior Fence was with Lisa Walker, who was extremely pleasant and informative. She arranged an estimate by Jeff Walker who supplied a figure for the configuration described above. Just before we were to start, I found out that I would have new neighbors on a shared side being fenced (90 feet of wood) and Lisa was patient as I gained feedback from the new neighbors on a preferred style. Long story short, the same design was in place but it took 2-3 weeks for me to confirm. Once started, the installation of the wood fence went very well. In fact, my neighbors contracted with Jeff to have their yard done as well and, since they were all wood, were first to get their fence installed. It took 10 days between ordering and delivery of the aluminum fencing and unfortunately, the manufacturer did send some incorrect pieces that delayed completion. However, once everything was in place the fence(s) turned out beautifully. I also have to give special recognition to Jeff and his crew for going above and beyond the call of duty. One of the nights when he was working on my neighbors fence he had to deal with an irrational neighbor on the other side who for some reason was not happy about the work being done. It was late on a Friday and Jeff made sure everything was taken care of before leaving, which was well after dark. In short, I would go with Superior Fencing again in a heartbeat. Not only was the service excellent the price was ~$1,000 less than a competitor for the same configuration.

I called superior fence and had Lisa Walker give me a ball park figure. Schduled appointment to have project measured and final estimate.Lisa did a contract on site and I payed deposit. Materials were ordered by superior fence they came in about 10days. Jeff and his crew started the next morning. Four days later the vinyl fence was installed and finished.Jeff was super answered all my question and kept me updated on every next move to insure he knew what we wanted.

This company and the owner are excellent. We contacted Jeff about installing a 5 foot chainlink fence around a portion of our new backyard. He came out, showed us pictures of his work, talked with us about what we were wanting and why, then gave us an estimate. It was just slightly more than half the price I had been quoted over the phone by one of the other fencing companies in Athens so we jumped on it. He showed up on time with one helper and worked steady until he encountered a problem. Next to the house, about 8 inches down, he ran into concrete where they had extended the foundation out from the house. He called us out immediately to see what the problem was then proposed an ingenious solution. He had a local welder make an "L" extension onto the fence posts that were to fit up next to the house so that they were still flush (no dog escapes) but extended out from the cement so the poles were the proper depth in the ground to be solid. He apologized for this causing the job to be extended and for having to charge us more so he could pay the welder but we were happy to pay it so we could keep the original layout with the fence posts next to the house. Our backyard is not the slightest bit level and is almost terraced in places. Rather than just running the chainlink straight along the ground and leaving gaps, he took the time to dig out channels in the higher areas to make sure that the fence remained flush with the ground so our dogs couldn't scoot under. The fence is rock solid and the workmanship is excellent. When we decide to add more fencing to our 2 acres we'll be calling Jeff again.

After reading the previous good reviews, I contacted them by phone to set up a quote. He and his wife came by the next day to take a look at the damage and get an estimate written up. They're both very friendly and easy to talk to. He was able to start within a week and was done within 5 days. The tornado had flattened or broken 95% of our fence so I was very impressed with how quickly he was able to finish the job. He was able to salvage a lot of the old boards and rails which saved us money on material. He also gave me a discount on the labor since I was willing to demolish the old fence myself. He even put up a temporary chain link fence while they worked so that we would be able to let our dogs out in the meantime. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of his work. The fence is even sturdier and straighter than before.

Great experience with this company; came out right away after being called for an estimate and began work within 2 days. Very professional and performed quality workmanship on time and to the agreed to price. There was some unexpected additional work of breaking through rock to set a couple of 4X4's but did not charge me for the extra effort. When digging up the 4x4's it was discovered that not all were set in ground to the standard 2 feet by the previous fence installer (Jones fence). This resulted in the additional loose 4X4s requiring replacement. I would highly recommend this contractor.

Arrived w/in 15 minutes of location call. Did introductions. Got right to work. Shortened fence and installed new end post, tighted the latch post and repaired damage by large tree falling on that fence and a remote fence by repairing the corner, top rail, and straightening the whole section of fence. A very fast and efficient job.

I think that the price and everything was all fine. They were friendly and professional. I had no issues or problems. I am waiting for my boss on that.

Jeff Walker did an outstanding job. He spent time discussing his work and showing up pictures of his work. He was the only fence builder who showed us pictures of his work. He was very careful in his work and ensured that it was good quality. He was very patient with us as we made changes after he started the job. (I don't recommend this because it cost us additional money; but it was our fault, not his.) Suggestion: Obtain several estimates from firms listed in Angieslist. Make sure one of the estimates is from Jeff (Superior Fence). He lives up to his name and delivers a superior fence. We highly recommend him!!!

I contact superior fencing they gave me an approximate quote on the phone for the staining. They made an appointment and came out to my house measured the yard and looked at the additional work required. Ms Walker called me the next day with quote and it was less than another fencing company. I scheduled an appoint for a start date. They showed up and on time and began work on the front fence. when the cut the arch i did not like the appearance at first because my poles were not even so the arch was not even, but Jeff Walker was very patient and recut the fence until i was satisfied. They also addressed my concerns regarding my husbands trailer in the rear. They covered the trailer and they also used a screen to ensure the overspray was contained. The covered all of the hinges and remove/replaced hardware as required. It took about 3 days (I had a lot of fence and it is shadow boxed) They did a great job and my fence looks great.
