+ -1 moreIt went pretty well. I didn't like the fact that he ridiculed us for using an underground fence to keep our dog in the yard. If others would control their animals we wouldn't have to put up a fence to protect ours.

From initial discussions looking at different fence styles to getting quotes for the fence, his communication is excellent throughout the whole process. Construction was performed in a very timely manner and the fence is constructed well and beautiful to look at! Very highly recommended!!

+ -1 moreJeff, the owner, showed up on time, listened to our description of the type of fence we wanted, measured the length and we discussed where we wanted gates and what size. We wanted a scalloped picket fence and that's exactly what we got. It's absolutely beautiful, I personally inspected the entire fence after he was done and the workmanship is outstanding. The icing on the cake is that Jeff price was under out budget and quite a bit cheaper then the other local services.

+ -1 moreJeff Walker and his co-worker did a great job and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had with Angie’s List. The communication was quick and an estimate was provided within a day. Jeff explained exactly what he would do and answered all of my questions. The work was scheduled and then completed on time with no problems. The work looks great and I would definitely recommend this company for any fence work that you need.
Description of Work: Superior Fence replaced a section of wooden fence and a gate. They also made other repairs to the fence and replaced several individual boards.

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased. Were not sure it could be repaired. He replaced the posts, dug deeper wholes and recemented but used most of the same panels to save us money. No unnecessary extras!
Description of Work: He repaired our fence. One side of our fence (4 posts) had fallen down due to an erosion ditch. He repaired that whole section, fixed our gate and one other post.

+ -1 moreIt didn't go very well at all. I now have to call another company to do the work.
Description of Work: I called him out to put up a fence in the back of my property and also in the front. He got out of his truck and walked down the area in the back and turned around halfway through. He came back and advised me that it would be impossible to put up a good fence until the area has been cleared out. There were trees and other things lying around due to a tornado that hit a few years back. He said he did not want to take all that time to do the work. I said I didn't mind an imperfect fence but he was still insistent on not doing the work. There was a bit of disagreement and misunderstanding between the two of us regarding the back of the property but he agreed to take a look at the front fence still and give me an estimate. He did not want to drive through the pasture so he got in his truck and drove along the outside as if he were going to start measuring but then he just kept driving off without any notice. I called him a few minutes later to see where he had gone and he said that he did not want to do the work because he had put a fence up to divide the property a few years ago (costing about $5,000) and claimed that I said I hated it. I was upset that the property had to be divided but it had nothing to do with the fence itself. He is a hard worker but has a bad attitude when he feels as though you are questioning his abilities to perform the job.

He showed up on time and performed the work in the time he originally estimated it would take. Final fence is just like what we discussed. Workmanship is excellent. SOOOO easy to work with. Work completed at estimated price. Totally cleaned up after themselves. Would call them again in a second. COMPLETELY pleased by this contractor's work. You will not be disappointed!!

He took a great deal of pride in his work and the finished project showed the care put into getting fence that met my expectations. He took his time to ensure the fencing was done so that it finished with a smooth flow. He was able to meet my timeline and got the job done quickly. His price was excellent.
Description of Work: Installed 300 feet of 3-rail vinyl horse fence with wire fence on the inside and an aluminium estate-style driveway gate. Also installed approximately 800 feet of 1042 farm fencing with a strand of barbed wire on top. Installed two farm drive gates and two walk gates.

He readily adjusted his schedule to ensure new fence was complete by the time I had to leave town on a business trip. Once the date was set and the work started, there were no delays and we were kept well informed. We were happy and would recommend them!

They showed a strong interest in providing a great product while remaining cost competitive with the other fence companies. The work was completed when they said it would be done and for the agreed upon price. There was no additional upsell, which was a very welcome experience. The fence looks fantastic and is very sturdy. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend their services.

+ -1 moreThey gave us the best quote of the two companies we had estimates from. They did a great job installing the fence and it wasn't the easiest yard to deal with. If I had any questions they responded quickly by email or phone. There was a problem getting the aluminum gates in on time but that was another company, no fault of Superior Fence at all. Jeff installed a temporary fence as a solution until the parts came in. My dogs love the new yard and can't get out. These guys know what they are doing and I highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreLisa was very prompt with giving us a quote, coming out the day after we contacted them via Angies List. She quoted us 3 options at our request and made it clear that booking time was approximately 2 weeks away from the install due to other jobs. Once we made a selection Jeff came out for a final measure. We had recently adopted a deaf puppy and need a secure fence for when she was outside. When an opening came up a week earlier in Jeffs' schedule, he contacted us and asked if we wanted an early install, which we were thrilled to get. The company called the appropriate utilities and got clearance prior to the install, and came out and set the posts in concrete. The next day the fence was installed, with panels secured with deck screws for greater strength/durability. The job was completed on day two as promised with everything cleaned up and completed. This experience was VERY good and I would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Installed a pressure treated Pine fence, approx 100 linear feet total.

+ -1 moreOur fence is beautiful and enhances the house. My dogs are contained and I feel safe and protected. Owners Lisa and Jeff provided outstanding and affordable service. I explained to them about the dog attack a few years ago where I and three of my dogs were attacked by a neighbor's Rottweiler who had wandered onto our property. I could not move into my new home until I had a fence. They were empathetic and made SURE that fence was installed on time. They went to a great deal of trouble to make that happen. That is what I call going the extra mile! We have moved a lot and this was my first positive fence experience. The fence is BEAUTIFUL and well made. The other estimate was $2k more and they would not make it a curved fence. It was truly a pleasure working with Lisa and Jeff. I would definitely hire them again and yes, I recommend Superior Fence. + -1 moreI called Monday and asked for a quote. They told me they would have me a quote that afternoon or early Tuesday morning. I never got a quote so I figured they got busy. I called back 4 times throughout Tuesday and never got an answer. I left a voice mail after lunch. Got a call that evening saying they needed more information about the job. I gave her the information and she said she would send the quote right over in a few minutes. Never got it. I called back Wednesday morning and asked about the quote again. She said she thought he handled it and she would call me right back to let me know what the hold up was. I still haven't got a quote or call. I noticed on one review similar to this she said she wished he would have let her know he didn't get the quote, I have let her know several times and it still didn't help. She was really nice, but if I can't get a quote from them, then I certainly don't feel comfortable letting them do the work. If I have a problem then I would be worried I couldn't get it resolved. They may be an excellent company as far a work goes but, needs work on the customer service end of things. I have no idea how much it would have cost but, would have liked to have known. I'm going with Tennessee Vally Fence. I am able to call and get answers right away.
Description of Work: Wanted a quote on taking down part of a fence to move a shed in the back and then putting fence back up with 12' gate.

They arrived on time each day and cleaned up everything when the job ended. Due to our positive experiences with Superior Fence, we highly recommend them and will use them for our future fencing needs.
Description of Work: Pressure washed and stained over 1000 feet of 6 ft wood privacy fence. They pressure washed/stained the existing fence and stained a new fence installed in Mar 2014. They also performed some repairs to the existing fence.

Superior did show up and take measurements along with decent business rapport, the lady seemed nice enough. I explained my wife and newborn needed a fenced yard asap due to our two dogs and her current ability to leash walk them. The estimator left with an understanding that I would like to choose a company within 24 hours so that the fence would be up as soon as possible to which she stated "No problem, I will have your estimate before lunch tomorrow." That was a week ago to which no estimate has been received to this date. Based on the other reviews on Angie's List, this seems to be a new reoccurring issued for Superior Fence.

+ -1 moreI needed a chainlink fence to contain three crazy dogs. Superior Fence installed a high quality fence around my entire back yard totalling about 390 feet in length. The entire process from the estimate to the final inspection was straight forward and very user friendly. Superior Fence is by far the best fence company in the area. The customer service, honesty, and the quality of the construction is without equal. They use high quality materials and back their fence with a two year warranty. I couldn't be happier with the finished product!

+ 0 moreAll good, no issues. A year later everything still looks good and the gate opens and closes with ease.
Description of Work: Replaced 5 fence posts that were broken. Set the new ones in concrete (like the old ones). Replaced and rebuild my double wide gate. The posts were upgraded from 4x4 to 6x6 and the gate was constructed with a steel frame. Saved my pickets from the old gate and used them on the new gate so the gate matches with the fence.
