Superior Fence

Lack of response doesn't allow me to respond other than to say that Superior Fence was not interested in my business.

I called Superior Fence to schedule an estimate on a Friday. The lady on the phone was quite pleasant and had me scheduled for an estimate the next morning. Not only was the estimator on time, but he was early! I've never had a contractor in this town show up early. It turned out that the estimator, Jeff, was also the owner of the company, and the man who would be building our fence. Jeff brought a photo album of various previous jobs, and was very knowledgeable about types of fencing and what would best fit our needs. He even came up with a creative solution for working around a storage shed and the natural gas line. His large amount of experience and pride in his work was evident during our conversation. After our initial meeting, we had an emailed estimate within a day. After we agreed to the estimate, Jeff came back out to the house for us to sign the contract. Construction began a few days later. Construction took about four days. On the first day, I told Jeff to come and go as he pleased, so he wouldn't feel like he needed to report in every time he did anything. Some people may prefer that, and I got the feeling that he adjusts his communication to each homeowner's style. He and a helper were here at 8:00 every morning, but I barely knew they were there. They were clean, efficient, and professional. The work site was kept clean of debris during the entire construction period, so we could still go out in the yard in the evenings and not worry about stepping on something. When construction was finished, Jeff gave us a couple of days to check out the fence and see if anything needed attention, then came out to pick up the check after we approved. My husband actually noticed a trivial issue after we had paid, and asked about it in an email. We're not sure when it was done - it's like elves magically showed up in the night and took care of it. We are extremely pleased with the construction quality of the fence. Our yard is slightly uneven in places, but you can't even tell; the lines are so straight. The fence is built so well; I know it will withstand wind and storms for many years.

There were several areas of my privacy fence that required repair, including the double drive gate and the single walkway gate. I called for an estimate on a Friday afternoon and the representative was very personable and polite. She scheduled and appointment the following Monday. She contacted me 10 minutes prior to the appointment reassuring me that she was coming, but was running a few minutes behind due to traffic (bonus points here!). The representative was very polite and knowledgeable about fencing and answered all of my questions thoroughly. After much discussion, the provider was to work a quote to include replacing my double drive gate, approximately 15 pickets along the fence and one 6x6 post. Additionally, I asked for a separate price for staining/treating the entire fence. It took 3 days to provide the quote for services which wasn't necessarily bad in my opinion, but not exceptional. When I reviewed the quote, it was not separated out by service as requested, and the total quote much higher than I'd anticipated Ultimately after comparing quotes from various providers, another vendor was selected.

I had to bring in a large shed into my yard from the back of my property which required that about 40 feet of my chain link fence be removed and replaced. I also wanted to add a small piece of fence and a gate to keep my dog from going behind the garage, where the new shed would be. I found "Superior Fence" listed on Angie's List, with a very good rating, so I called them. They came to my house the next day and quoted the job with a price that I thought was very reasonable for all that was needed. The owner, Jeff, and his assistant, removed the fence as soon as we were ready to have it done, so that the truck with the trailer and shed, could come in and place the shed. At no extra charge, Superior Fence made a temporary fence, closing the gap so my dog wouldn't escape if she were let out. They were absolutely polite and punctual. They were always here and working, when they said they would be. When they finished, the fence looked much better than it did before it was removed. They even added a tension wire along the bottom of the new part to keep my dog from digging under the fence. I have an underground internet cable that would be a nightmare to replace and went right in the area that they had to dig to install the new part of the fence with the new gate. Jeff and his assistant were very careful not to disturb my internet cable when digging and installing the new posts. I highly recommend Superior Fence. The quality of their work is impeccable and they are a pleasure to deal with.

Superior Fence provided excellent service and a quality product. They were punctual when they came to give us an estimate and answered all of our questions. When the work began they arrived on time each day and cleaned up everything when the job ended. They had previously done some work for us where they replaced an existing, sagging gate with a wonderful, metal-frame gate. Because of our two positive experiences with Superior Fence, we plan to use them for our future fencing needs.

THE PROVIDER DID EXCELLENT WORK. THE OWNER CAME OUT AND SAW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND KNEW THE SOLUTION AND WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS CAME WITH HIMSELF AND A CO-WORKER AND WORKED ALMOST A FULL DAY TAKING THE OLD POST DOWN AND PUTTING THE POST DEEPER INTO THE GROUND AND CONCRETING. HE WAS VERY CORDIAL AND A DILIGENT IN ALL HIS WORK. HE KNOWS HIS BUSINESS. I WOULD RECOMMEND.

Originally there was a communication problem. They put up half the fence before we realized that it was the wrong material. They do excellent work, but their communication is poor. After we made the changes, they didn't confirm with me or send me an invoice which is why the fence was originally put up wrong. They have put up the entire correct fence and the craftsmanship is very good. I would recommend them, but I would suggest going over everything before they start work. I still need to contact them regarding the placement of the fence. The fence needed to end at the side of my house. Instead, it’s about a foot in from the brick which means it’s inside my garden.

Required cutting out old fence, removal of existing posts and installation of new gate posts and gate. Excellent job performance. Top quality work. Very efficient.

Superior did a great job. They arrived on time when expected and helped with the type of fencing and pricing. The final cost actually went down from the initial estimate when the fence manufacturer provided a better cost. Getting the job set up and materials ordered and delivered took longer than I expected, although when the installers came on time as scheduled, they installed the fence in one day with no issues. Superior will be my first choice when my other wood privacy fence needs work.

Also lowered the back link fence so dog couldn't go underneath. Great Job!

They always did what they said they would do and when they said they would do it. Owner is hands on in putting up fence. This worked to our advantage as he had suggestions that really enhanced the look of the finished product. He always ran it by us first when he thought something could be better. We were so appreciative of this. He also paid attention to every detail, no matter how small. The fence and gates look great. They enhance the look of our property as well as the practicality of keeping our dogs safe.They were a pleasure to talk to as well as do business with. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

We got him from Angie's List. We are going to get him to put up a fence for us. We haven't used him yet; it hasn’t been completed yet. He had to order the material, so we are waiting. He probably ordered it last week. But until now he has done everything that he has said. The quote was around the $5000 range. He has been very articulate and very on the spot. We have been very pleased. We are waiting to get the material and the items installed.

I scheduled a noon appointment for an estimate to replace my fence. I got home around 11:50 for the appointment and waited. No one showed up by 12:15 and I called to find out what was going on. I talked to the lady I scheduled the appointment with and she said she had mistakenly written down 1:00 but that the person coming to provide the estimate had already left and she would try to find out where he was located and call me back. I waited until 1:00 and no call back. I called her back again and she gave me some lame excuse about the person coming out having car trouble. I told her at that time that I could meet back at my home around 5:00. I also told her if she wanted my business to call me back to schedule another time to meet. Today, 7/30/13, I still have not heard anything back from them regarding a new appointment. Very disappointing from a company that has received such good reviews from others. I guess I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Excellent workmanship. The started and finished before the original estimated time. They fabricated the driveway gates and reinforced them with welded steel fence post material. It's a great idea and should keep the gate from sagging like most wood only gates are prone to do. They did an good job of cleaning up after the job was done.

It went great! Took about 4 days. We had Superior Fence fence in our corner lot and had many, many custom requests. The guys were professional and did a top notch job.

Superior Fence did a superior job. The responded to my call immediately and came to make an estimate within a couple of days. They did the work sooner than they had promised for the cost that they had initially estimated. Originally, I had a wooden fence with a double gate that was about to fall down. It was a replacement for one installed a few years earlier, but one post was out of plumb over an inch, and the gate was badly warped. Finally it had come loose and was about to fall down. I had called another company several months earlier who promised to give me an estimate for repairs, but they never came. I finally found Superior Fence through Angie's List. They removed the double 4" X 4" posts of the old fence and installed 6" X 6 " posts. Two days later they installed steel frame gates with wooden exterior. When they asked which way I wanted the gates to open, I requested them to have the gates open outward, for no other reason than that my earlier gates opened outward, since the earlier gates were solid wood with outside hinges. When I realized that opening outward required a large space next to each gate, they returned and rehung the gates to my satisfaction at no charge. They removed all scrapped materials and left the gates in excellent condition.

This company is Fantastic. They responded quickly, a very friendly crew and reasonably priced. They gave me a quote and came and fixed my fence the same day I called. Most other companies couldn't get to me until 30 days or more and I needed my fence fixed to keep my dogs from getting out. They did an excellent job. Thank you Superior Fence Company. You were a lifesaver.

My wife and I are very pleased with the the quality of work and the professionalism Superior Fence Co used when putting up our fence.They came out the first day and explained the path and angle that the fence would go then set the post's,then came out the next day and finished the job then cleaned up the work area a total of 2 days from start to finishing the job.In my opinion you could not of asked for a better Experance with a company than I had with Superior Fence Co.
