I had water starting to come up in the drain in my basement. I called Waterwork and even though it was Sunday, B. was here within 2 hours. He was very personable and professional and explained everything that he did. The emergency rate seemed a little high but the level of service may have justified it.

They sent out two guys one was obviously more skilled then the other I assume that’s why they sent two people out to begin with but after a short while the more experienced worker left the rookie to do the job, took a total of 5 hours for such a simple job at a rate of 144 an hour which is one thing but since I paid fully in cash you’d think everything would go smoothly....wrong next day I discovered a visible leak so when I called the lady on the phone that works the office gave me the hardest time as if I was making things up like her worker couldn’t have possibly made a mistake so finally I get a guy out there to fix the mistake (had to leave work early) only to find out there’s another leak that wasn’t visible. The first plumber that fished the pipes behind a new framed out wall left not 1 but 2 leaks so I called them today and tried getting help and yet again the lady that answers the phone was so rude and in denial about the work being done wrong she claimed it wasn’t possible because her “guys don’t fish pipe behind drywall” but clearly they did?? But she treated me as if I was a liar and not a paying customer worst customer service I ever encountered as far as plumbing business go

Response from WaterWork Plumbing
This homeowner had us install a customer supplied tankless water heater. We appreciate his business. In regards to the complaint about price, he was given a ballpark up front and at the completion of the job he signed that he was completely satisfied before paying the bill in full. His frustration stems from leaks that occurred on his water lines during the install. We understand his frustration and all additional work was done at no charge and in a time frame of his choosing on the same day of his calls. His claim that our staff was rude to him........I can't say that I blame them honestly. After listening back to the recorded conversation and hearing him and his wife use phrases like "listen bi*ch", and "f'ing c*nt", I'm surprised that they dealt with him at all. There is no reason to speak to anyone in customer service this way. We regret that he had an issue with the work we completed for him but suggest finding some ways to cope with anger management.

My kitchen sink sprayer was leaking & Waterworks Plumbing was able to schedule an appointment very quickly while accommodating my schedule. Brian arrived promptly & it was nice to see him again as he was out in June to fix my leaking toilet. As before, Brian was very professional & knowledgeable and had the job completed in 45 mins. I would definitely call Waterworks Plumbing again for my plumbing needs.

We've had a toilet that's been leaking around the base in a 90 year old house. Other companies have tried to patch the problem, but Joe from WaterWork realized the problem was deeper than that. He had experience with this specific problem. The 90 year old toilet seal was made of lead. (Joe called it a "Lead Boot.") It was worn out and and had to be removed and replaced. It was a big job that took three hours, and it wasn't cheap, but at last we don't have to think about it anymore. Thank you, Joe!! This is now my "go to" plumbing company!

It went great. One of the faucet handles loosened up in a couple of days as it settled in and they came back to fix it for no charge. Terrific work, on time and professional. Not cheap but fair. In plumbing you get what you pay for and I got great service. The time allotted for the job was right on target.

They did a very good job on this installation by replacing valves that were over 70 years old. Subsequent to their work, we had to work on several of the household's pluming fixtures ourselves.. This work would have been impossible to accomplish without their replacing the old leaking shutoff valves. We called several of the various plumbing companies and they came out and did the job the next day.
Description of Work: Replaced the main water shutoff valves on the incoming city of Dearborn's cold water lines. The company had to arrange for the city to shut down the incoming water before they could do their job.

It went well. I called around 9:30a and was given an appointment around noon. The plumber, (K)Chris, was personable and professional. She arrived on time and after assessing the job immediately went to work. I provided my own faucet purchased from a big box store. She thoroughly cleaned the area around the old faucet before installing the new one. She was done in less than an hour. It looks and works wonderfully.

I called in the early afternoon. they were able to send someone out in less than an hour. (i know it doesnt always work that quickly). i have a small utility closet for the furnace and water heater. Mark figured out which water heater would fit in the space available. with the help of another plumber, Chris, the water heater, a 40 gallon Lochinvar, was installed that afternoon. the water heater cost $1,000. but other work was also done that raised the total cost to $1,200. the crew was professional and friendly. answered any questions i had. And explained the best setting for the heater.

Eric showed up promptly within the estimated time window. He was extremely friendly and professional. He put covers over his shoes so as not to track mud through the house. I showed him where the toilet was. He took a look and immediately knew what the problem was. He replaced the fill valve and housing, explaining each step as he went. He also installed a new supply line to the toilet. I'm extremely pleased with this experience. I would recommend WaterWork Plumbing to my friends and family.

It went great. We had a back up in drain in the basement, We called Water Work Plumbing because they were on Angie's list and also local. They were able to fit us into the schedule. In fact they gave us a window from 3-5pm which was really good, but they called and asked if earlier would work since the plumber was done at another job and could come over right now. Well of course that was no problem. Once Ryan the plumber got here right away saw that it was a build up of grease in the pipe. He snaked it out and we ran water down the drain to make sure it was clear and it was. Very professional, fast, fairly priced. I would definitely hire them again. Thank you so much Water Work Plumbing and Angie's List.

The service was exceptional. Starting with David who moved up my emergency appointment when another opportunity presented itself, Jerry and then John worked hours to correct the problem, reassuring me that they wouldn't leave until it was resolved. The thorough explanation of the service provided and probable next steps was clear and helpful without being condescending. I will certainly be using their services in the future and have already recommended them to others.

It went really well. It didn’t take a very long time to do the work and Ryan was very kind, confident and capable. I thought we were going to be stuck dealing with plumbing for the whole day, but no, he was done pretty quickly and we were able to go on about our day. We asked some questions about other work we may need done in the future and he was happy to explain things to us to give us a better idea going forward. When we do the upgrade work, we’ll definitely call WaterWork again and will specifically ask for Ryan.

We called several plumbers as the situation was urgent. Only one was available. They came and said it needed to be water jetted, charged us for work that wasn't performed, and gave us a +8K quote for main excavation. We were desperate and almost gave in. Then Waterwork Plumbing called that they had an opening. Ryan came, with another guy, and his confidence was an immediate sign that we are in good hands. He said he'll give himself 2 hours to fix it. If he fails, the problem is bigger than he estimates. After 45 minutes it was fixed, for a fraction of the cost the other guys were asking. He was our savior in the time of need--diligent, capable, professional. I wish everybody took pride in their work like he does. He definitely earned my future business.

Not well. When they replaced the hot water heater, they replumbed everything as we have 2 hot water heaters linked together. The guys seemed competent and professional. I asked multiple times and was reassured that in the future, should one tank go out, we could shut it off and continue to use the other until it was replaced. Everything seemed fine, moved on to toilet install and shower repair. Toilet was installed and looked fine. The guy disassembled the shower and discovered a leaky valve. He then reassembled, and told me he didn't have the part and that I should go get it and call him back when I had it so he could come back and fix. I would have expected for him to tell me that he would get the part and contact me when he had it to schedule a time to repair. He couldn't even tell me what the part was so that I could try to get it. So I responded back to WaterWork when they asked me for a review that I was dissatisfied, and to their credit, they sent a guy out promptly to fix the shower leak. BUT, since the first guy didn't notate the part needed, he had to come, take it apart, see the part, and then go all the way across town to get it. He installed it, but we were charged for all of the extra time that it took him to drive back and forth to get the part, which was I think around 2 extra hours. I wasn't happy but let it go. In the meantime, the toilet started moving when you sit or get up. I let that go too. Then our other water heater broke, and we discovered that despite all of their assurances to the contrary, they had NOT plumbed it as they said they did and we could not use the other hot water heater. I got someone out to fix it, and fairly quickly, but they charged me $480 for an emergency call to correct their error. The guy was in the house maximum 15 minutes. A couple of days later, the weather got colder and we went to check our humidifier as the house seemed dry. We discovered that they has disconnected it when they replumbed and never reconnected it. We couldn't do it because there was no water supply any longer going to the humidifier. At that point, I contacted the company to ask them to correct the problem of the rocking toilet and the humidifier, and to complain about the $480 service call, which was a couple of weeks ago and no one has responded. They have been responsive as far as getting people out, however, I do not expect to be charged for them to correct their mistakes. So if you are fortunate and get someone who does it right the first time, all will probably be good, but if they make a mistake, you can expect to pay again for the same service if you call them back.

This turned out to be the "service call from heaven". Service man, "Ryan" showed up ahead of scheduled time but did call first to say he was coming. Was very knowledgeable and professional in the way he went about performing the required work. Made sure to cover the floors and walkways as not to bring and unwanted dirt in or around the house. Was very considerate to make sure none of my dogs were in his way when he had to bring equipment or fixtures into the basement. I would definitely call them again if I have any problems in the future. Prices are very reasonable for the type of quality work they perform.
