I made a appointment and they worked around my free time which was weekend only. They called an even asked if it was ok if the technician came earlier then schedule which was fine. He was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. He told me exactly what was going on which happened to be the Trap is broke and gave me a estimate and even a small tip on what to do until I get it fixed.

We found them on Angie's List and hired them to fix the pipe in the basement. They were prompt, courteous, and cheaper than we had anticipated. A week or so later, my husband was attempting to replace our kitchen faucet and we found ourselves in over our heads. He really didn't want to call a plumber for help, but I think our good experience the week prior helped me talk him into it. They were able to help fix a difficult switch out that had odd installation requirements. And again, it was cheap enough that I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and again. Hiring a plumber is cheaper than me doing it wrong and having wood rot somewhere I can't see because I did something wrong.

Terrible! the technician was so rude and immediatley wanted to start tearing walls down to see what the problem was. He said my house was weird and couldn't find the main water valve. He treated me like a dumb woman that I didnt know either. My 18 year old son showed him where it was, he had no idea how I felt about this guy and came in and told me how rude this technician was. This job needs to be done but I will not use this company.

Response from WaterWork Plumbing
Hello. This is David, owner and master plumber of WaterWork Plumbing. I had no idea that this homeowner was not satisfied with her experience and I invite her to discuss it further with me. The plumber she is speaking of is John. He is a licensed plumber with approximately 20 years of experience. He has been a part of WaterWork for almost 4. Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s description of him is definitely out of sorts though. In the time he has worked for me, I can't remember one instance of anyone calling him rude. To be honest, he doesn't get much feedback, good or bad. He is the type of guy who hasn't called in sick for 4 years and can handle any job that is given to him. I do know that when he cleared from Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s job he was taken aback by how she treated him. Like I stated previously, he's a very monotone and vanilla type of guy so it was unlike him to comment on a customers behavior. Most likely rude is a two way street in this case? What is unfortunate is she fails to mention the service she received from the office staff when making the appointment and that we arrived on time to her appointment at the time and day she requested. Or that we sent her a licensed plumber with 20 years of experience who was equipped with everything to do the job. She may not like John's personality but he was able to locate and identify her problem and how to resolve it. In the end it seems unfair to paint an entire company with an F rating just because you don't want to hear what the plumber has to say. Again I invite Mrs. [Member Name Removed] to call the office to discuss this further at her convenience. Our number is 248-542-8022.

Actual plumber was nice and responsive. However, they cancelled and rescheduled services day they were supposed to be completed. When they came out for the original quote, they gave us an estimate based on a per hour service. They gave us a worst case scenario quote and told us it would most likely be less since less labor hours would be required if they didnt run into any issues. When they came out for service, less hours were required than the original estimated number of hours. However, the company refused to charge us less than the estimate. They were also supposed to fix a dryer dent on the machine, but they forgot also. We feel were were taken advantage of since we were out of town when services were performed. Would not recommend their services since the office refused to remedy our issues.

Response from WaterWork Plumbing
Hello. This is David, the owner and master plumber of WaterWork Plumber. I would like to take the time to reply to this homeowners review. They are right that we cancelled the original appointment and we apologize for the inconvenience. The plumber that gave the bid was out sick for 6 days and we thought it would be best to have the plumber who gave the bid do the work rather than send in someone who would be seeing it for the first time. We called them at nine am, their appointment wasn't until one and they said no problem given the circumstances. We had good intentions but I digress. In regards to the remainder of the complaint......its simply not true. The plumber gave the homeowner a written estimate. The estimate clearly explained what we would be doing and how much it would cost. The estimate gave no scenarios of price but rather a flat rate of $500. The estimate is signed and accepted by the homeowner. In regards to the dent in the unit; the homeowner bought a used washer/dryer combo and it came with the dent. We are not equipped to remove dents from appliances nor is it our responsibility. The next day he called and tried to get a refund of a portion of the money spent. He said if you don't give me money back, I'm going to leave you a bad review. We are confident we performed a quality service for this individual at a previously agreed on price. We have reached an impasse.

I'd purchased an Aquasana Whole House Filtration system and needed it professional installed. WaterWork sent Mark, their guy for these types of installs, out to tackle the job. They provided a reasonable estimate and were back out within two days to complete the work. Mark did an outstanding job; he was punctual, polite and professional, and, as the photo attests, takes pride in doing neat work. The total cost was within the estimate and I'm super happy with the results. I'll have WaterWork out again to tackle my additional plumbing needs.

I called WaterWork Plumbing because I was having a new washer and dryer delivered to my house to replace the old ones. I knew that the gas valve on my dryer line had to be replaced prior to installation. I also had the inspection report from when I recently bought the house that said the dryer gas line was not extended to the proper length and to have it looked at. I wanted to make sure it was looked at by a professional and any issues addressed prior to the new dryer replacing the old one. The gas valve replacement went fine and I was happy with the work. The plumber was professional and courteous while at my house. I asked about what had been said in the inspection report. I was told that otherwise the hookup was fine and he anticipated no problems. I paid for the service and was pleased. However, on the delivery day, the installer told me that the dryer gas line was not up to code and they could not install the dryer. They reiterated what the inspection report had said, which was that the line and the valve was too far away from the inlet into the dryer, and that it should be installed to within 4 feet of the appliance to meet code. I then had to hire a different professional to come out and extend the gas line to meet code requirements-- and thus even what I paid to replace the valve was going to be moved/redone! I was not pleased to say the least. I called WaterWork and explained what had happened and why I was frustrated. The person I spoke with said: "I don't know what kind of resolution you think you can get." I said at the very least I would like my concerns and feedback to be heard so it does not happen to someone else. There was no other offer made to me to redress that I paid for a service and received incorrect information. I had trusted this company with my business because of its reviews and rating on Angie's List. So I wanted to make sure I reviewed here. Again, the plumber was professional and courteous while there-- but anyone seeking to get an opinion or bring their dryer gas line up to code, be aware and make sure you get clarity. And make sure your pipe and shut off valve is within four feet of the appliance!

Response from WaterWork Plumbing
This is David, owner of WaterWork Plumbing. The homeowner had us out on 1-28-19. We were asked to change a gas valve as hers was out of code. We charged her for one hour of time plus parts, total was $174. The plumber did not see any issue with installing the dryer beyond that. The dryer wasn't there or we would have hooked it up for her but he didn't see why anyone would have any trouble installing the dryer to code. We weren't asked to do anything beyond the valve. The homeowner didn't notify my office of the trouble until after she made a decision to have another company do additional work for her. Her version of her phone call is misrepresented as I have had an opportunity to listen to the recording. The call was pleasant on both sides. My representative asked what resolution the homeowner would like and she said that she would like the for the office to speak with the plumber about her frustrations and how her experience could have been better. That was all that was asked for and the office conveyed her message to the plumber. The work we were asked to do was done correctly. It was her decision to take the advice of another individual who may or may not have been a licensed plumber. Had we been given the heads up we would have come out and worked with her. We weren't given the opportunity. I invite [Member Name Removed] to call me to discuss further.

It went great. I sent an email Friday night via Angie’s List. Company called me first thing Saturday morning to schedule an appointment same day within a couple hours from the initial call. The gentleman that came out was very friendly, personable, and helpful. He snaked the drain with his supersized snake and knocked the clog right out. Great work and would definitely recommend.

Everything is good, except the price. The guy came and checked the leaking faucet. Told me the weather is too cold to fix the faucet outside. Suggest to install a new inside valve to stop the leak and pay 2nd trip to fix the leak when it is warmer. I agreed and he installed a new inside shut off valve. With a coupon, he charged me $202 as a final price.

Our service was excellent. Water works was able to schedule an appointment that same weekend when we were available to have their plumber Ken Thomas come out to our house. He had the job done within an hour and was very informative about what was wrong and what was needed to fix it. Ken is a friendly guy and even though we had 6-8” of snow he still arrived promptly. Water works even called to let me know there could be a slight delay due to the weather just in case, very professional. The price was very affordable too. It’s a very good feeling to know you’ve got a go-to company that can handle such a wide array of issues and will provide this high level of service. 10/10 would recommend.

They sent out two guys one was obviously more skilled then the other I assume that’s why they sent two people out to begin with but after a short while the more experienced worker left the rookie to do the job, took a total of 5 hours for such a simple job at a rate of 144 an hour which is one thing but since I paid fully in cash you’d think everything would go smoothly....wrong next day I discovered a visible leak so when I called the lady on the phone that works the office gave me the hardest time as if I was making things up like her worker couldn’t have possibly made a mistake so finally I get a guy out there to fix the mistake (had to leave work early) only to find out there’s another leak that wasn’t visible. The first plumber that fished the pipes behind a new framed out wall left not 1 but 2 leaks so I called them today and tried getting help and yet again the lady that answers the phone was so rude and in denial about the work being done wrong she claimed it wasn’t possible because her “guys don’t fish pipe behind drywall” but clearly they did?? But she treated me as if I was a liar and not a paying customer worst customer service I ever encountered as far as plumbing business go

This homeowner had us install a customer supplied tankless water heater. We appreciate his business. In regards to the complaint about price, he was given a ballpark up front and at the completion of the job he signed that he was completely satisfied before paying the bill in full. His frustration stems from leaks that occurred on his water lines during the install. We understand his frustration and all additional work was done at no charge and in a time frame of his choosing on the same day of his calls. His claim that our staff was rude to him........I can't say that I blame them honestly. After listening back to the recorded conversation and hearing him and his wife use phrases like "listen bi*ch", and "f'ing c*nt", I'm surprised that they dealt with him at all. There is no reason to speak to anyone in customer service this way. We regret that he had an issue with the work we completed for him but suggest finding some ways to cope with anger management.

We've had a toilet that's been leaking around the base in a 90 year old house. Other companies have tried to patch the problem, but Joe from WaterWork realized the problem was deeper than that. He had experience with this specific problem. The 90 year old toilet seal was made of lead. (Joe called it a "Lead Boot.") It was worn out and and had to be removed and replaced. It was a big job that took three hours, and it wasn't cheap, but at last we don't have to think about it anymore. Thank you, Joe!! This is now my "go to" plumbing company!
