The plumber arrived, asked a few questions and quickly assessed the problem. Before contacting a plumbing company, we did research and thought the problem was a blocked roof vent. We did check and it appeared to be clear, however we did not know there was a 90 degree turn, which was not visible. That 90 degree also happened to be the source of the blockage. The plumber was very thorough, professional and personable. I appreciated that he did not come in and begin guessing, or trying to make the problem seem worse than it actually was. I had other companies come and want to bust up the floor to replace sewer lines, which they would have liked for me to believe were broken and causing problems. I will certainly call Cregger Plumbing first, if there is a future need.

When I noticed water dripping from my basement ceiling, I thought my washing machine was leaking. I called Cregger Plumbing and they sent Kevin out the next day. He took one look at the problem and knew immediately what had to be repaired. He fixed the problem in short amount of time. I asked him to fix our toilets. He had the parts in his truck and fixed them immediately. Kevin was very professional, a hard worker, and very efficient. I would recommend Cregger Plumbing to anyone that has a plumbing problem.

Both jobs went well which is not my issue. Their pricing seems to be fair from the quotes that I did before we entered into a contract with them. The low grade on the pricing that I gave is the way they apply their discounts, and needs too be clarified in their advertisements . When our 1st job was completed and we paid, there was no "Senior Discoiunt" given. Before we had them do the 2nd job, I called the office about this and they said that, at the time that the final invoice is being created after the completion of the work, we must make mention of the discount at that time. I mentioned the discount on our 2nd job, and the tech said ok, then went out to compute our final bill. When he came back he said their discount is only on labor and was only $40.00. So instead of getting $440.00 discount (total of 1st and 2nd job), we only got a $40.00 discount. Their work crews and the equipment they use are top notch, but the way they apply the discount doesn't seem right.

We have had all sorts of issues with both our plumbing and numerous local plumbers. Thankfully Cregger plumbing was able to solve all of our issues, and quickly! Cregger is the only place we ever call now. They are super friendly, efficient, affordable and reliable. There is no other reason to call anyone else, ever!

Cregger was able to come out the next day. After sharing my dilemna, the plumber knew exactly what to do & made the repair within 15 minutes.

The service man showed up on time and fixed our leaky kitchen sink. We also asked him to look at the laundry room utility sink basin which ultimately needed replacing and to replace our powder room faucet. He was able to run back to his warehouse and get the new Utility sink and make the replacement in a timely manner. He was courteous and professional and the work was high quality. Would use this company again.

plumbing seemed put of by the small size of the task and was not very friendly or accomodating

The technician was nice and fixed my toilet and I thought he fixed the issue with the dishwasher, but realized it was not fixed when I went to wash a load of dishes a couple days later. I called and scheduled a follow up appointment, but they never showed up or contacted me again.

It was wonderful. It was excellent. He came out and he took his time and he just did a wonderful job. He cleaned up and left it just as he found it in the bathroom and he was very, very good. He did his job and he was professional. He did a great job and all the plumbing works fine after he left. It was a really good price. He had a machine that really cleared everything up. I was very impressed.

Went well. I live in a condo, so there wan't much to inspect (just kitchen and bathroom). So I asked the plumber about a couple of projects I am considering: 1. Installing a washer/dryer combo where the dishwasher is, or elsewhere in the kitchen, and 2) figuring out why smoke from a downstairs condo is coming into my kitchen and 3. How to caulk around my bathroom. I got a quote for the dishwasher, and tips on how to deal with the smoke (caulking) and how to properly caulk around the tub. I feel like I got my money's worth and will likely work with Cregger again in the near future. Basically it was okay. They had to come back a second time but the end result was good. The second call was free. I thought overall they did very well, but the first time they came out fully confirmed they'll work in another drain before he left so they had to come back again.

I called them and they were able to set up an appointment for the next day, which was great! They came on time and the technician was very kind. He saw the damage and gave me an estimate of $225 before he went out and got all the parts. He came back later and there was some light banging and he came back in to tell me the valve broke, and that I would need to call the city to tell them to turn the water off, because he didn't want to risk breaking the other valve. Okay, to be fair, the valves are way old. I mean, they were there to fix one of them and I get that the others would break fairly easily. First of all, I know nothing about contacting the city for anything, so finding the right contact number through the city website was surprisingly frustrating. When I did get in touch with them, it was a week and a half for an appointment. Finally, when I asked the technician if they would be able to coordinate with them, it was a very uncertain response, because it depended on their schedule. I guess I don't understand why he didn't at least give me an actual number to call to make the appointment with the city. It was just a horrible hassle, on top of the fact that 1) the valve wasn't broken when they got there, so exactly why am I paying another $400 to fix it? the job itself was $225, so tripling the cost is a little ridiculous 2) another company was able to come in and fix everything for way less, AND the other company was able to shut off the water without going through the city. It was a bad situation, but the technician I had is no longer there, so I highly doubt this would happen again. Also, the owner called me immediately after learning I was upset, and, if it is possible, was just as upset as I was! This is very out of character for their company, and he did explain that if something happened when they turned off the water themselves, it would lead to digging up my yard AT MY OWN COST, which sounds really risky. I appreciate the caution, and if I had known that was the reason they weren't turning it off, then I would have been more okay with having to wait for the city. I don't think the technician I had knew how to make the process less frustrating for me, but it certainly looks like the rest of the company does. Despite the situation, I would use them in the future. I think the owner is very invested in all of the clients, and tries his best to provide quality service, and it sounds like there is a lot of knowledge at that company. So, if you do get into my situation, try to call the office and ask to speak to someone there. Obviously, there are times when a technician is still new or learning, but I am confident the company will do its best to make things better if it isn't going well. Also, they seem like the kind of plumbers that work on the safe/conservative side, so that they have plans in place for the worst possible scenario during the repairs.

They came out within one day after I purchased the big deal. They seemed to know what to look for.

I live in a home that is around 70 years old, with a hot water heat boiler system. In a house this old, plumbing problems arise from time to time. Cregger give outstanding service. I had used other plumbing firms before settling on them for nearly 15-20 years, because they really know what they are doing. They are the most competent, efficient and ethical company, I have ever dealt with. They are very skilled, knowledgeable and can fix problems that leave other plumbing firms stumped. If you had an A+ grade in the review section, I would have given them that.

Technician was very knowledgeable. Work was performed quickly and technician and he took care to clean up afterwards. Would hire again.

I hired them to clean out and inspect the main sewer pipe for my home. By no fault of his own, and after trying three separate attempts, the technician was unable to work the inspection camera into my sewer because I have a whole house trap (just like the little U shaped bend underneath your sink), but he was able to work the snake into the drain to clean out the line. I called Cregger Plumbing after to see if they would credit me for the inspection that they were unable to perform and they gave me a $25 credit towards any future work. I was happy with the service that they provided so I will be using them again.

Small jobs quoted with big price tags that would be way more than the offer. Had someone else fix several tiny jobs for less than 35$ and put extra money in for one job. It's a bait and switch

I bought a $111 big deal for this service. They were kind of rude. We would not use them again. It was a negative experience overall. They ended up using tools in my own home. I thought they were a little pricey, but I don't really have much to compare it to. What they could do differently is their general communication and the way they treat their customers.

Everything was EXCELLENT. Greg was very professional and neatly dressed. Everything about him was very professional. He was very knowledgeable and i would definitely recommend.

The tank was a little crooked (the right side was closer to the wall than the left side), so I called to have someone come to see if it could be adjusted. Someone came promptly, quickly made the adjustment and everything looked great. The first plumber reminded me that I needed the coupon from Angie's List so he waited patiently while I pulled it up on the computer.
