Bob is excellent. He was thoughtful enough to knock instead of ringing the door bell. Very timely and he completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned everything up. Very cordial, including the customer service on the phone. Highly recommended. My friend hired them to replace the water heater and also spoke highly of Cregger.

I had a sump pump installed. I would highly recommend Cregger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. The guys were very professional and very friendly. They did a great job and were very quick. The toilet was repaired and the gentlemen were polite and efficient.

The plumber said the the line was ok but because of a camera view he had a question and wanted his supervisor to confirm his findings. The supervisor came out and ran his camera in the line and confirmed the original opinion. Believe the supervisor had a superior camera. Very satisfied.

The plumber came out and "found guardian water back up pump leaking from switch assembly. Pump still under manufactures warranty, parts should be covered." Great! A few weeks later, I had not heard back; when I called to inquire I was told they were waiting for a part to come in. Another few weeks go by, with the same answer - waiting for a part. Finally I get a call saying the part was in, therefore I schedule an appointment and take the day off work. Same plumber arrives, tells me that the switch assembly is no longer made by the manufacturer, so I need a new sump pump. And now it's not covered under warranty, cost is $795. I called another company, who ordered the right part and replaced it in 3 weeks for $340. Easy-peasy. * Cregger was untruthful on the phone, saying that the part was in when it actually wasn't. Wasted my time and money. * Cregger was wrong about the part being unavailable through the manufacturer. * The flip-flop on the warranty seems like a bait-and-switch.

I was told there was no dripping in the bathtub as soon as I got home the bathtub was dripping. I asked him to snake the toilet which he didn't do and he just turn down the water pressure. It's not double flushing anymore which was an issue, but I told him that it was bubbling after the flush because it seemed like there was a clogged and it is still bubbling. Underneath the sink there's an attachment for the plunger and the metal connector wasn't even connected properly. No other work was done and I was charged $200. On the phone the people were nice and the plumber was also friendly, but the work was garbage.

James came on time and worked very efficiently. He single handed replace my existing old water heater and replace it with a new one.

Jimmy Thomas and his partner Brian Buckmaster of Cregger Plumbing did an excellent job. These plumbers knew exactly what they were doing, did it well, were very professional AND courteous, explaining every detail, answering every question. Cregger cut a 34" square in the basement concrete floor, removed the cast iron storm trap and discovered two lines of broken storm drain clay pipe feeding into the trap. They were able to clean out many of the tree roots, install several feet of new PVC pipe and a new PVC trap. Basically Cregger salvaged the old clay pipe storm drainage system for now and maybe for forever, saving me an outlay of what could be a $15,000 sump pump waterproofing system.

I have used them several times. They are always on time, courteous and professional. My toilet was loose do to a broken flange and tree branches. It was a big job but they got it done! They know what they are doing with plumbing. I completely trust them. Susan

Well this was a shocker. I cannot say enough about the two Brandons who showed up to help me with my sewer line. My ancient, crumbling, root infested, clogged sewer line. One over eager contractor was able to get the thing barely functional the day before, but left a broom handle sticking out of the basement floor, saying, "Now don't move that." I had requested the pipe be opened up if possible, long enough for me to schedule a proper repair to the underground pipe. He gave me a pricey quote for the excavation and repair verbally, no written estimate. He gave me an endless lecture on what was wrong, and how much difficulty I was in, and did I understand what I was asking them to do. They charged me $100 for moving aside some roots, and helping unclog the toilet upstairs which had a problem because of the situation. I asked who to make the check out to, and instead of his company or even him, he had me make it out to his helper. He warned me not to talk to anybody else about this. They will try to give me a better estimate, but they don't have the experience he had. The business card he left didn't even have his last name on it. I had also called Cregger Plumbing based on the reviews I read on Angie's List, but they couldn't make it the same day. I scheduled an appointment the next day instead - for another estimate and just in case the pipe closed up again. The phone was answered by a pleasant voice that walked me through what times were available, and promised a window the next day. I had to take off of work to accommodate, so I was on edge, hoping for a better experience than I had the day before. I got a text that they were on the way, along with the name of the technician. As promised Brandon Conner and an extra Brandon drove up in the window agreed upon. Because of some hard times, I have a very humble and neglected home that I am trying to live in and stabilize. Not one word about the state of the property. Very helpful and reassuring with a positive outlook for what the future held. They worked toward my request exactly, and worked with me on the price. Before the job, Derek back at Cregger had contacted me letting me know of the coupon offered on Angie's list that I was able to take advantage of. They used the camera to see the pipe from inside. The work was tough, but the line was functioning and I'm told good for enough time for me to arrange the big job. They quoted me the excavation job, even looking at all the options based on how the line runs out of my property. I was kept abreast of the cost at every step. Every single thing was put in writing, and emailed to me immediately. As someone who knows zilch about sewers this was so appreciated. Yes all of that is admirable, and would already have sold me on the company. But what I was astonished by was how much respect they showed me and empathy these guys had to the situation. I was left with a much brighter outlook. Not often you have an experience like that. There are dozens, (hundreds?) of other glowing reviews. I read some. I was skeptical. I wholeheartedly encourage you to take a chance on these people if you are timid about hiring a plumbing company. They will be called for every major and minor plumbing job I have in the future. Their name will be given to any friend asking for a referral. This was lots to read - so thanks for that. My first review on Angie's List.

This company did a fantastic job. The technical crew showed up in the timeframe they agreed to come out. They looked at the existing water heater to determine what it would take to repair the unit. After review of the repair it was determined that it would be more cost effective to replace the old water heater with a new one. The technical crew did quality job installing the new water heater and haled the old unit away. The company followed up to insure that we were completely satisfied and Emily the manager made sure that we received the best deal on our installation. I was happy to see that this company puts their customers first. I will use them for future jobs and recommend them to my friends. Keep up the great work!!!

The worst service and lack of basic service protocol. I made an appointment for between 12 and 2pm as that was their last open block for Saturdays. I waited and received no call. At 2:15pm I called to inquire as to if I was getting service. The receptionist took my number and said someone would call. Someone called about 2:30pm and said they spoke with the tech who said he was running late. He stated he would be about an hour or so. I canceled and will never give them a dime of my money. A professional service technician would have contacted customers to notify them of the fact they are running late. No a peep from these clowns. I will not waste my time with them ever again.

They were quick to respond and came out same day. They explained what needed to be replaced and also told us what to look at for as some of our plumbing runs behind the cabinets and was unable to be replaced without a kitchen remodel. The fix has held up great and the kitchen sink no longer leaks
