Cregger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

This was my first time using Cregger. My call was answered courteously and promptly. The technician called as promised to let us know when to expect him. He quickly identified the problem - a bad core inside the faucet - and was able to fix it, explaining exactly what had to be done. He also replaced a broken drain plug. I asked about a coupon offer when I scheduled the appointment and was told how to use and activate the offer after talking after talking with the plumber. I appreciated knowing I could use it this way. The technician who came out, Tom, was friendly, capable and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to use him or the company again. The price reflects a coupon offering $200 in service for $111. Total bill would have been $290.

Everyone was nice and courteous but: Materials: They had to take back 2 tubs before getting one that wasn't scratched. Charged extra for the trap and have had 2 warranty repairs on it so far. When we questioned the additional $125 we were told by the plumber that had he been the one that estimated the job it would have been a lot more anyway.

Used camera and determined there was a low spot or in a gravity drain. The drain is supposed to be slopped with no low spot in between. The would need to replace the drain under the concrete basement to make a permanent repair. Would need to come back to evaluate with a different instrument/probe to provide a detailed estimate.

great job. Only one thing was the leak in the bathroom under the sink did not hold. So, I was not sure if I was going to be charged again for another visit. All great work.

This was a big deal purchase. This is the third time I have bought from them. I love Cregger Plumbing. They do a good job. They are responsive. They could have just fixed the symptom and they didn't. They explained the problem and fixed the problem because the system would have been a different issue. They gave me the option. They taught me all the things about my disposal and I did not know about it. They went over and beyond and took the time to make me an informed consumer.

Greg was a delight to have in our home and did and excellent job today, as always!

Cregger was punctual and upon arriving went about their tasks in a professional and competent manner. The workmen were courteous and explained what they were doing and why. They also made suggestions while giving multiple options and letting us as the customer decided the scope and level of work we preferred.

The Greg called and arrived on time. He found issue right away. He worked for an hour and cleaned up after. This is the second time I've used Cregger Plumbing and will call them again for non-emergency items.

These guys/gals are so professional, have used them several times, always end up coming back, really appreciate how they call you afterwards to ask how things are going, A+

The plumber who handled the job was professional, pleasant and capable. He did a very good job. I had a $99 for $200 worth of work deal. The price of plumbing work is very mysterious to me. I don't think the work I had done would be worth $200, but I was very happy paying $99 especially since there were no additional costs for parts or supplies.

It went well. Timely and professional.

Had a rough go at it with the 2 companies sent out by my home warranty, and turns out it wasn't covered anyway, so I looked elsewhere and found Kregger. Was really easy to get an estimate (emailed them picutres) and set up a service appointment. Prices exactly as quoted. Serviceman showed up on time and was very polite. Even though I knew exactly the problem and that it needed to be replaced (I had multiple opinions that agreed), he said he would rebuild it, which typically is all that is needed for this fix and would save me money. I let him try the rebuild - that did not work and he had to proceed with the replacement. May have wasted an hour of time, but I appreciate that he was up front about trying the cost-effective approach first. The replacement went smoothly and everything is in working order again, and he was sure to remind me that they would take care of any issues during the warranty period of the new parts.

This is the 2nd time they have come to fix this leak. Against my advice, my hubby called them to come out again. I advised him against allowing them inside our home again, because the year prior they left us with a flood in our kitchen. Water was all over our hardwood floor. And they never called us to address that problem, although their documented Angie's list response indicated that they would call us. This time in 2016, my hubby felt that he had to call them out again because he felt that the quality of the work they did back in Jan 2015 was poor because they same area of our garbage disposal was leaking again. They did not charge us for the 2016 repair job, but there was some discussion concerning that. My hubby had to plead his case as to why he felt we should not be charged. The interesting thing is that the very next day after they completed the work, we had another flood on our kitchen floor! A repeat of what happened in Jan 2015 ! This time they forgot to put a clamp back on to keep a hose in place. I found the clamp in the cabinet corner under our kitchen sink , and my hubby had to put the clamp back on. You may ask, how is it possible that a year later they left another flood in the kitchen? What I really find hard to believe is that they are allowed to drive around with "Angie's List" written on the side of their truck. It should say "Call us to flood your kitchen" . The good thing is they were not very adamant about charging us to come back out to fix poor quality work they did in 2015, and what really helped to calm things after the 2nd flood, was the lady who answered the phone. She was very professional. Overall, allowing them to do plumbing work? Probably not a good idea.
