Updated: Cregger Plumbing was exceptionally responsive to my issues once they received my review on Angie's List and went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied. Everything was remedied in a timely fashion, and the company did indeed call first thing Monday morning as Derek said they would. I suspect that our issues with responsiveness were an isolated incident based on the response received now. James couldn't have been a better service person, and we will definitely be requesting him when we call for our next plumbing job in a few months. The first plumber who came out was prompt and nice. He told us he identified the leak and completed part of the repair and said he fixed the toilet, but stated that he had been doing kitchen plumbing jobs the rest of the day so he didn't have the other parts he needed and we needed to make another appointment. So I called the next day and made the appointment. The plumbers who came to do that part of the job were prompt and nice, but we weren't totally happy with the install (the area was not properly prepped). Cregger was very responsive and, after sending in photographs, they sent another plumber out to fix the problems. He was very nice and did a good job, but identified another part that needed to be replaced. I have now called twice to get that resolved, and both times I was told someone would call me back, and I have not yet received a return phone call. The toilet is still not completely fixed, as it still is difficult to flush despite the fact that we were told that it would work normally after a few uses. Also? The leak which we were told was fixed is NOT fixed and has caused ceiling damage to our living room after we paid substantial amounts of money to have the plaster in that room repaired and painted based on the plumbers telling us that the leak was fixed. I will call again on Monday, but I am not holding my breath at this point.

The install went great. Kevin and Jason did a great job. I will definitely be hiring Cregger for future plumbing work at our house.

They did what most couldn’t. Working on stuff that old is risky. They saved everything. Love those guys.

The Cregger team did a great job. They we priced right, on time, did great work, and did it fast. From estimate to completion, it was under four days. Also, besides the fresh concrete filled hole in our basement, I can't tell they were ever there. Nice work, thank you!

Pipes under the kitchen sink was not completely done correctly, but a new plumber corrected the issues for free. The toilet and sink with the framework are being completed today. Looks good so far.

James Liberty completed the replacement in a very professional manner, in spite of the complications removing the old, original faucet caused. The attachments for the old faucet were corroded in place and an extraordinary effort was required to remove it without damaging the sink I have used Cregger Plumbing several times in the past and have been totally satisfied with the work performed every time.

Bob was wonderful. He listened to my concerns and gave solutions.

Dave S did an excellent job replacing a pull-out kitchen faucet which wasn't easy due to the old one being rusted in place and working in very cramped conditions. Also gave very valuable advise to save money. Thanks Dave & Cregger

Excellent! I received quotes from 2 other companies and decided to go with Cregger due to Kevin Hollander's knowledge during the estimate. I felt confident he was evaluating all the variables correctly. They were the highest of the quotes, but everyone was within about $100 of each other. Kevin Jacobs and another gentlemen (can't remember his name) showed up near the beginning of the scheduled window and did the job well. They laid down cloth so as not to mess up the carpet in the basement. Everything went in smoothly. They installed a 6 year Rheem Professional series water heater (Home Depot has the Performance series in case you're wondering). They determined the water meter had to go, but it wasn't an up-charge, it just fell within the higher side of the quote. Kevin noticed the ball valve he installed above the water heater was not packed well from the manufacturer so he fixed it. After they left and everything dried out, I noticed one of the other ball valves they replaced by the meter had a minor drip. I called the office and Kevin Jacobs came back out the same day (within a couple hours) and packed that ball valve properly. Very appreciative of that quick response. All in all, very pleased with their work. Would definitely use them again. Actual invoice line items: $475.00 - Water meter: dropped water meter after city turned off supply to the house, cut out both 3/4 inch gate valves and installed 2 new full port ball valves one before and one after the meter, we also installed new meter couplings and meter 90s tested and no leaks were found Warranty: 1 year $950.00 - water heater: removed old 40 gallon standard vent water heater and installed a new 40 gallon rheem standard vent water heater, opened hold in chimney so we could installed a new 4 inch vent for the new water heater(sealed hole after installation) installed a new 3/4 full port ball valve on cold side of water heater. connected gas and lite water heater tested and no leaks were found Warranty: 1 year labor 6year on parts from rheem. Total: $1,425.00

It went well. Keith arrived on time. He explained the condition of my water lines, flushed the hot water tank and installed an arrestor. He was knowledgable, professional, and answered all my questions.

Got the job done but was fairly expensive.

Kevin F. was the plumber who came out. He was on time, very neat, efficient, polite, and cleaned up after himself. He finished the job in a timely manner. He also looked at another plumbing issue but wasn't able to resolve it in a day, so I will have him come back out for that in the future. I would definitely recommened Cregger Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.

my technician David S. was very professional and friendly.

service went well, person was available on short notice on Saturday when shower/faucet handle broke causing huge leak and because separate shut off valve was not accessible the water for the entire house had to be turned off. Plumber replaced faucet cartridge, was prompt and professional to the point that I asked for a quote on another plumbing repair (that I originally was going to have performed by someone else)

Bad. Basement floor drain was holding water likely filling from drain tiles under basement. Plumber destroyed metal caps to basement clean outs with hammer drill. (I'm actually told that no plumber has or brings the tool to actually unscrew those properly.) Snaked one of the closeouts and brought back nothing, it's a long run so had someone drop of longer snake. Said I needed a new clean out in front yard. Typically these are a lot of money... Truth be told, maybe I do, maybe I don't. I do know that I don't based on what they were called out for. Unfortunately had to wait until I had time to seriously look at the situation and had to run a portable water pump for some days until I could. Things got out of control a few times but, was able to keep anything major from happening. I cleaned out the clean outs with fresh water and from a pressure washer to get rid of a lot of the rust and muck till it became clear. (At no time did the plumber try fresh water in the clean out or see if the water level increased and it was right there and offered if needed.) No, it was not holding water just dirty rusty water. I was able to actually see to the bottom after it all settled and saw top of what is called a black flow valve sticking out. We'll gosh golly I reached down and found a crevice loosened it up and even felt something pass that I didn't get a chance to get hold of. All the water held in the drain lowered and back to normal. Problem solved and proven over time (no more basement drain flooding) and thanks for nothing but an unneeded snaking, useless suggestion to have a clean out installed in the front yard for $3250.00 only make your job easier, and destroying the metal caps I had a hard time replacing. Also thanks for not reaching down there and feeling for the back flow I was able to find. The only good news is that I was finally able to find metal caps that fit and also replace some o-rings that were worn out to create a better seal and I bought some other things where I don't think I'll need a plumber again unless something really bad happens. This was all less money than it was to have them out. If you have newer stuff maybe you can call them out. If you are on older then don't bother. Matter fact, I think you should just call someone retired or find or talk to an old pro if you can or do it yourself. I think it's just how it is. They don't care.

The plumber was experienced and knowledgeable at his craft. He explained everything and provided guidance on preventing clogging of storm drains in the future.

The work was completed timely and in a very efficient manner. I have used Cregger Plumbing services for many years for several different projects. They have always been extremely reliable and I have been well satisfied with the quality of their work.
