It went great! Greg was knowledgeable, professional and did an exceptional job. He initially thought it would be an easy job; it took him substantially longer than he originally estimated. He stuck with it, and got the job done right! We were very pleased with the service level and attention to detail.

Cregger was very efficient in taking my call and scheduling a technician the same morning. We were unable to use the basement plumbing because the ejection line was clogged. Tim was dispatched to our house and immediately diagnosed the problem as a possible blocked line. After analysis, he determined the location of the blockage and was able to snake the line and clear the blockage. He was courteous and professional and kept me appraised of what he was doing throughout the entire process. I am very impressed with the company (Cregger) and Tim in particular, and will definitely call them again should we have plumbing issues in our home. Highly recommended!

The snaking of the sewer cleared the line as expected. Anthony then had me look at the screen as he dropped the camera down and did a really good job explaining what I was seeing and all of the options available to me. He was patient and generous with his time and I left with a good understanding of the situation.

Despite the late hour and long work day (12/23/14), Tim remained professional at all times. He made the 150 foot trek to our back yard shed to retrieve & rehang a 12 foot step ladder required to get on the roof. He kept mess to a minimum and gladly gave us a 10% senior discount. Setting up the appointment with their office was easy. Derek and Anthony arrived on time. They were very patient with our reluctance to spend so much money unexpectedly. They answered all our questions to the best of their ability. Derek has also been willing to help us deal with our homeowners' insurance company who we hope will pay for part of the repair and floor replacement. Anthony and Kevin did their utmost to minimize dirt and disruption. They "walled off" with clear plastic the parts of our laundry room where they were not be working. This kept dirt and dust to virtually 0. They completed the sewer repairs between 10:00 AM and 4:45 PM (minus a lunch hour). When repairing the unavoidable hole in the concrete of the laundry room floor, they were careful to ask whether we wanted it "at" or "just below" the surface of the existing vinyl floor covering which will be replaced afterwards. The total cost for their work was within their original estimate, which also matched ball park guidelines on the internet for what sewer repair has cost other home owners. At the end, Anthony explained drainage tests they had performed to evaluate the line's ability to carry away waste. In our case, the line is level. It would have been better if the line had a slight downward angle to it but achieving this would have required a major tear out of existing lines and basement walls. It is assuring to know that these guys consider the details. We were again offered a 10% senior discount. The work is also guaranteed for 5 years. I was expecting 90 days. Who can guarantee a sewer line, not even Ed Norton. Having a sewer line collapse at Christmas time was really a pain. These guys worked to minimize the disruption. I would strongly recommend Cregger to anyone else needing emergency sewer repair.

The technician, Jimmy, was absolutely phenomenal in his professional courtesy as well as technical knowledge. The replacement for the faulty fill valve with supply line was quickly but thoroughly done. When the toilet was flushing slow due to its age and buildup, Jimmy gave us a good price quote for replacement toilet. Overall, we were very please with this service and will definitely keep them on our list of quality contractors.

Kevin arrived promptly on time. He spread a cloth on my floor so as not to let soot get all over. He quickly completed the job and the boiler was in proper working condition and ready for winter. He cleaned up the area and it was spotless.

Plumber arrived on time, was very professional and took his time explaining what he was doing and what other issues we might have with our exterior line. Turns out we had a break in the pipe due to roots breaking through the 1950s clay pipe. It required a trenching and repairing the following week, but we used a different company (Bennie's Plumbing) to do the job as Keith said that they were unable to do the repair due to the depth of our line.

It went fine. I just wish he had checked the lever before he spent time snaking the tub. But I will certainly call them again. I was lucky that I had purchased a "big deal" so the cost to me was 180.

Initial instal leaked and caused water damage under sink. They would not repair the damage.

The service person was professional and courteous; however I thought his quotes for follow up work was quite expensive. I checked with a different plumber afterwards and got the plumbing problems fixed at a much lower price. Actually I ended up saving over $300.00 by choosing someone else.

I have used this organization before and they are very good. The individuals we interfaced with from the scheduler, the estimator, and the plumber that performed the service were all very service oriented and friendly. The work is complete and is very good. From the simplest of leaks to the closing of our septic field and excavation to the sewer, Cregger has done very good work. The are an excellent value in plumbing.

I would strongly not recommend you waste your time with this company there so many other better out there that I have found on Angie's list

Replaced sink faucet. Excellent job. Looks and works as we wanted it to. Removed and replaced silicone rubber cement on the sink-counter top interface. One man was sent out to do this work. The plumber had difficulty lifting the sink (one cast iron double basin sink). He had planned to remove it, apply the cement to the bottom of the sink and then drop the sink back into place. He instead had to pry the sink up, apply the cement from below. Some cement was then on the counter top surface beyond the outside of the sink. He wiped up much of it, but a film was left on the counter top. He said it could be wiped up the next day when it dried. It did not easily wipe up. There are streak marks on the counter top that I can not get off, extending maybe 3/4" beyond the edge of the sink.

Anthony was great. Fixed issues quickly. Needed to get additional parts but came back quickly. Told me about Angie's List discount and suggested I get on line and buy--I already had coupon but appreciated the suggestion. Anthony knew what he was doing and got the job done. I will use this company again and I WILL ask for Anthony. Happy New Year

The service worked out great. There was a little bit of an additional cost on top of the $111 Big Deal. It was $25 more. There was a little bit of miscommunication between the quote and then the person who came out to do the work. The price seemed reasonable to me.

Fantastic, great service and price...

Our toilet's water supply valve began to leak around the handle. I turned off the water to that area and called Cregger. On Sunday, they have an answering service running, so I explained the situation to the young lady at the service and she passed the message on to Rebecca (I think that was her name). She called me back and let me know that someone would call me on Monday to schedule a time to have the plumber out. I ended up calling them around 11 AM that Monday and scheduled for the 9am to 1pm time slot on Tuesday. They gave me a call at 9:43 AM today (that Tuesday) to let me know that the plumber was on the way. At 10 AM, Anthony arrived at our house and I showed him the supply valve and then asked about the P-trap as the P-trap wasn't the original request. Since I bought the Angie's List Deal for $111 for $200 worth of service, I could also get the P-trap done for an extra $20. Anthony wasn't quite sure if he had a replacement floor plate for the rusted supply valve, but I went to Lowes ahead of time just to be on the safe side. I agreed to the work, gave him the supply valve and floor plate, and Anthony got started. Man is he fast! I hadn't even printed out my voucher yet and he was done with both jobs. It only took him about 25 minutes from the time he walked in the door. He had already cleaned up around his work area and was headed on to the next job at 10:30 AM. He was courteous and diligent. I'd definitely recommend Cregger to others. Good work, Anthony.

Cregger was quick to schedule the quote visit. They called shortly before they arrived. Jimmy was very professionally dressed and covered his shoes when entering the house. He took his time to understand what I wanted done - remove old water heater, install new water heater, understand where I wanted the new heater located, and the other elements effected by the job like the furnace humidifier. The estimate was clear, understandable, contained the estimated cost, estimated the duration of the job and Jimmy explained who to contact if I wanted to purchase their service. Several days later I placed my order and the work was scheduled just a couple days later. On the day of the work I was contacted by the office to confirm when Jimmy would arrive. He arrive on time and quickly proceeded to prepare for the work. After a n hour or so he gave me advance notice he would be shutting off the water and that gas giving me ample time to warm the house (it was December in Michigan after all!) and draw any water I needed while serve was disconnected. They made minimal noise (which was handy as I work from home talking with customers on the telephone and video calls). The work was high quality and exactly as I wanted. They cleaned up after themselves nicely. It did take an hour or so longer then planned, but that wasn't a problem.

The deal went fine two years ago, but the sewer is now backing up again. When they came back out today they said there are roots that will need to be removed. We are still working with them.

Don was very professional and helpful. Clearly explained the problems and answered my questions about some other topics. Work was done well and the office staff called the following morning to follow up and make sure everything was OK. Would work with them again.
