Work was completed in a timely, professional manner.

Bob was on time, very knowledgeable and honest . I had a small amount f water in my basement and thought it was from my sump pump. However, Bob said my sump pump was fine but the water was coming from the floor. He recommended a foundation specialist. Also, he connected the water line for my refrigerator ice maker.

Over the years I have tried many plumbing companies. Last week I had the good fortune to call Cregger Plumbing & Sewer. I've tried the rest - now I know who's the best. Every step in solving my water heating problem was made easier by Cregger employees. Emily was very helpful in scheduling my appointment and getting the job done as quickly as possible. Tom came to my house and was efficient, professional and informative. I have not found many companies as devoted to customer service and satisfaction as Cregger Plumbing & Sewer.

It appears to have been a thorough job; took quite a while; the technician was pleasant and helpful. I rated a B on price only because it seemed like a big hit but is probably within normal ranges. I can't compare because two other places I contacted NEVER got back to me with a quote! And I marked a B on professionalism because when I went down to check on him his phone was hanging from the pipes so he could watch a podcast. I don't know if that caused him to take longer - I always watch TV when I'm working - but I'm not sure it's professional.

It went fine. The plumbers were pleasant but a bit sloppier than I expected. I found myself cleaning up after they left.

We had a leaky outdoor faucet that needed to be replaced. Cregger was the only company that provided a Free Estimate, which meant that a technician would come and check out the problem. The technician came and gave us a quote, and it was actually cheaper than the other companies that we asked for the quotes on Angie's List! Not only that but he also finished the job right then as well!! Thank you very much, Cregger! (we were also able to use the Coupon on Angie's List to discount the price!) The technician helped us with getting the quote for another outdoor faucet as well, which helped us with knowing how much the job would have been. (we ended up not getting that faucet done that day, because it was more than we expected)

Rob called me and was willing to come then, but I wasn't available so he came the next day. He gave my husband a few tips on how to prevent it from happening again, and Rob was very professional. I would recommend him.

Bob was very professional. Came back when the leaking was not fixed the first time. Also special ordered our tub overflow gasket and spout then came back to install those as well.

Brandon was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was working properly and he clearly took pride in leaving with a job well done. I also appreciated the paperless billing, which was immediately sent to my email and the use of texting for updates on arrival time, job details, and who I should expect. We will definitely use them in the future when we inevitably need something done!

I originally wrote a poor review about my experience with Cregger Plumbing and Sewer (now Cregger Mechanical Systems) because a 1/2 hp disposal was installed instead of a 3/4 hp. That also made a difference in warranties (2 years vs 3 years). Within 24 hours, Derrick contacted me and wanted to make it right. The plumber came back and installed a much better disposal than I originally wanted. Thank you, Derrick. You listen and you care. I will be a repeat customer - although I still think your prices are a bit high.

When I called to make an appointment I was told they do "free estimates". Plumber showed up on time, was polite and professional. He looked around told me what was wrong and what to do about it, which is great but he also charged me a $95 service fee for only the estimate. When I called back to complain they did say that the charge was an error and they were going to refund it. Not sure if this was an actual error or if they were just trying to smooth things over and keep me as a customer, but I did not really appreciate the attitude from the person on the other end of the call. If your employees are having a bad day don't let them answer customer service calls. Overall pretty good. I don't mind paying extra for quality and good service but probably won't be a returning customer.

Very impressed with Ian's knowledge and professional skill, we procrastinated a long time worried about some stories we heard about plumbing issues, we worried for nothing. All turned out very well, and Monica in the office was very friendly and even followed up after Ian's service call. Will absolutely recommend and call in the future.

Alright. The plumber showed up 1-2 hours after the appointment window. The work done was alright, but it was not communicated that the $200 of plumbing services deal from Angie's List is NOT offered anymore. I thought I HAD to use them since I already paid $111 for $200 of services. This was not the case, and I could have cancelled the work to go with someone cheaper (this quote was ~25% more then any other quote).

They overcharged since I was given a credit through Angie List - $200 worth of services for $111. They charged my parents $165? What happened to the credit? Disappointed. My parents are 83 years old - I told them over the phone about the credit. I told the lady at the office about the credit. The plumber apparently did not want to offer the credit. If I have this wrong -- please let me know. Kelly Clifton

The crew from Cregger arrived on time for the job and handled everything professionally. I've used them previously and they are my first choice for plumbing jobs that can be scheduled. They now use a texting service to keep customers informed of the schedule and progress, which I greatly appreciate. Their pricing seems a bit steep, but usually includes two people for the service call, and they estimate the cost of the service before you schedule so that their price range is not a surprise during the service call. Well worth it considering that I've always received top notch service, and there's usually a coupon available here to soften the blow (I grabbed the "$200 in services for $111" before scheduling).

I had a Moen bathroom sink faucet handle that I could not get off on my own to replace the cartridge. Kevin from Cregger came out and also tried but with no success either. He tipped me off to Moen's warranty service and I received a replacement faucet at no charge. Keven came back out and did a great job removing the old and placing the new. This is my second experience with Cregger this year and both times it was great service. From the initial phone call to set an appointment to the actual service call everyone there seems totally committed to doing a quality job. I also appreciated that they didn't charge me for that first visit but applied it to the second when the work could be done. And of course the Angie's List coupon was great since it cut $89 from the price. Highly recommend.

It was fine. The job didn't take very long. I was glad I could pay with my bankcard. I don't like the long window of arrival time. I know some jobs take longer than others but between 12 and 4 PM is a bit much I think.

Did not use. Range of price quoted over the telephone was extremely high. was able to find more reasonable quote.

This is my second review of this company. To my surprise, the issue I expressed in my previous review was very promptly and effectively addressed by the owner. I now understand the great ratings they have on this site. Greatness or the lack thereof, starts and ends at the top of any organization. This owner (Derek) takes this to heart, and I expect the best is yet to come for Cregger Plumbing. Great Job.
